Well I jumped on a CTF game and boy was I rubbish. I didn't even get one shot off and I was killed 5 times during the first 20 mins match. I think I need some serious practice on this one as its nowhere near as easy as it sounds. Thanks to all that shot me.

Looking to play a good session this evening and was wondering what the best servers to play on would be. Just got the game yesterday and am looking for some fun.

Have you removed all the drivers suggest drivercleaner and then reinstalled the latest ones for your card? Sometime artifacts can be because of leftover drivers and registry entries. I had a similar thing with my 7600GT where I had artifacts on FEAR Online. Once I had installed two new HDU's then that fixed the problem. Its a bit drastic but I would expect drivercleaner to sort your issues if it is a driver problem.

Ah that might explain, why when using my mike and the in-game voice of network button (Caps Lock), no one has responded.

Anyone use the in-game voip or is it better to use teamspeak? How do you know what players are using?

Any good communities in the UK that I could look into joining? I've just started playing and so am a noobie / novice. Loving it so far. Get to play most weekends and sometime a few evenings during the week.

Graphic artifacts are nomally a sign of temps. Can you check what your motherboard, hard drives, processor and gpu temps are when running ArmA. You can use Rivatuner which will log these temps in the background whilst playing.
