    I’m not a big fan of kimber, but that’s partially maybe because they are overpriced here and partially because of all the extractor issues they had back in the day. About half a year ago I was buying new 1911 for personal protection. I wanted something with rail, extended grip safety, long beaver tail and some other custom modification. In the end I was deciding between Kimber Tactical Entry II, Springfield Operator and S&W 1911PD. I bought the S&W after I tried all of them. Mostly because of the price and how light it is. While shooting they all behaved pretty much the same. Since that I never regretted my choice. So far I fired 5000rounds (including tacticool shooting) with 0 (yes ZERO) FTF/FTE and I buy and shoot crappy cheep ammo (MFS, Magtech, S&B). I never experienced such reliability with any other gun. It REALLY depends what models (and from what year) you want to compare.

    I haven't seen any fullauto M16s around here (people in Czech Republic are usually not very interested in AR15 platform), so I have no idea what is the price for that, but prices for fullauto weapons here are very reasonable (FNFAL/G3A3 1000USD, UZI 700USD, PPSh41 270USD, M1A1 518USD). I love firearms, but I would never pay 14k USD for a gun, thats just crazy. But we are the country where beer is cheaper than water :D

    Yeah, gun laws here are pretty awesome. I dint want the original plastic grips for TT, they are terrible (too thin for my hand, ugly and I cant get a good grip with them during rapidfire). Now I want to see how many surplus smg +P rounds from 1969 can it take before it will fall apart :D. M1 Garand is also on my list, but that would have to wait for my next salary. There are dozes Garands in every store for pretty reasonable price, but in .308W... :j: And that would be a blasphemy. So I have to wait for some shipment of reasonably priced 30.06s.

    M14 from Norinco? Shop close by just got a shipment of those. I'm really considering buying one (its like 3 times cheaper than M14 from Springfield). However there is a lot Norinco haters everywhere (for a reason). I had 1911A1 from Norinco few years back, it was a nice gun, but had serious FTE issues. I had to use a screwdriver to take the empty case out in some cases. And thats pretty stupid especially when you have gun like that for a concealed carry... Some guns they made are complete trash (cz75 clones, Sig clones), some are pretty nice (welll for the price). No idea how good/bad the M14 clone is.

    Thank God for Czech gun laws, you can own almost anything here. Sadly there are not many outdoor ranges around Prague. So you have to travel for an hour if you want to do some shooting on the move (well unless you want to pay a lot of money for MOUT facility in some huge service tunnel). However its not perfect. You can own a machinegun, but you cant buy a silencer or mount laser on your gun... Well I don’t care about lasers, but silencer would be neat. At one point I wanted to buy Mk23 SOCOM. I put so much work into it just to find out I cant get the model with lock slide feature. And its pointless to buy Mk23 without this and a silencer. But again I hope that gun laws will get better and they will allow the use of silencers.

    And so I’m not way too OT, some more of my guns: xD

    Here are my tools of the trade. I’m not going to post every single gun I own, someone might end up accusing me for preparing coup d'état :D, so I took pictures of my favorites. I’m a huge 1911 fan, there was a time when I had 4 of them. Now I ended up with 1911PD from S&W. 100% reliable and very light (scandium frame), perfect choice for concealed carry. When I can’t conceal fullsize 1911 I go with cz83 (its only 9x17, but its better then PPK which I used before). And the rest on the photo are my two favs. SAA revolver (God I love the sound of that thing) and L1A1 SLR (my all time favorite rifle, G3A3 and HK51 are right behind on the list). Hopefully tomorrow after work I will pick up PPSh41 (DAMN YOU RED ORCHESTRA 2)... and the worst thing? That shop received shipment of FALs from FN... I guess I will have to eat only bread for the rest of the month. How many people have problems like that? That you end up spending all the money for guns you dont need? :p

    Recently I was using very expensive VR goggles (30kUSD). Two 1280x1024 less than 1†LCD screens, build head tracking and 3D effect. Not sure if all VR devices are like that, but this one wasn’t something mind-blowing. Picture was really bad and it made my eyes and brain hurt. Tech demos shipped with the device were pretty impressive (one of them was virtual apartment, you could walk around and do things and there was a dog sitting next to your feet. First time I saw him I literary jumped away, that’s how real it was); however I had serious problems while playing games. For example everything in ArmA was so tiny I couldn’t play it. I couldn’t tell if thing 100m away is a soldier or a bush. As I kid I always wanted VR helmets, I loved that idea, but I’m really skeptical now after what I experienced with device THAT expensive. I don’t think the tech is ready yet, maybe in ten years.

    Go ahead then. Unless you only use PR content and make it for PR only then your fine. If you choose to ignore the warning, be prepared for a law suit.

    thanx to socialism and free education we have paid holiday, we can be ill for some weeks and still have job, we can finish university go to work and buy more products which we couldn't buy if we were poor

    in socialism there were even free flats to start family

    american kids have to enlist, die on war to get money for education

    i had no need to enlist, die, risk life, i just had this education cause we had no so much liberals

    That’s democracy in its finest. You have as many rights as you can have without taking rights from others (and without others taking your rights). In totalitarianism only small portion of people have granted wide selection of rights and they mostly intervene with rights of others.

    Our liberty ends where the liberty of others begins. I can understand someone can be offended by such a thing. But it’s not about being offended as it’s about vilas (any many others) being hypocrite. I could fully understand if he would say something like „...from my point of view it’s not funny at all, its disrespectful to families of those who died on that day...“ I would be perfectly fine with that. But on one hand he preaches about tolerance and in next sentence he is wishing for death of someone and suffering for his family... There is no difference between this behavior and behavior of Muslim fundamentalists (99% of them are just threatening as well and wouldn’t kill anyone). You should burn some some Belgian flags in the streets.

    There is mostly no hatred in jokes, as you can talk jokes about Jews without hate towards them. Friend of mine dated black French girl. They use to mock each other all the time. He calls her a monkey and she calls him a chicken, white boy and they where always sharing racist jokes. But there is nothing more than hatred in “this who made this picture should be dead and his family should sufferâ€. And I like how you compare tragic accident in which 100 people died to Nazi death camps, or slaughtering of 200 children...

    Let’s just ban dark humor, porn, swearing, action movies and videogames, as all those things offend someone. What do you think is more dangerous for society? Someone who made a joke (pretty funny in my eyes), or someone who said (and I quote): “this who made this picture should be dead and his family should suffer as families of 96 people“

    It's just dark humor. Deal with it, for crying out loud. It has been part of human culture for ages and it can help us to deal with taboo like death (in this case). The only threat to existence of our culture and civilization are people wishing death to those who just have different taste in humor.
