It can't be called sport anymore. "Street-smart" teams win and they call it the beauty of sport. Henry made anything he could and yet again he won an opportunity. Figo, as always, didn't miss his opportunities to fall down. Why was yesterdays match different? Italy knew that Germans would push hard so they had to play and that was entertaining. The final will be a disgrace. Once sport stood for fairness, honesty and spirit of competition. It sounds like a cliche but football is far gone from that idea as much as it could. Why was Friengs (or something like that) punished for sth that was delivered by an Italian press and right before the match with Italians? Would you call it fairplay? How come no other camera or TV station or the the victim of that fight remember the german doing that. How come Figo, what could be seen on every TV station, after hitting a headbanger was not punished? Football is a mixture of illusion and an idea of what it used to be. It is just too bad that that illusion is broken with every replay we see.

No it was not a penalty but it was an opportunity. Why did Henry faked? Cause he had no chance to get the ball and to score. It is a regular situation nowadays. The player has no chance of scoring so he starts to play f... Hamlet on the pitch. He starts to play "he hurt my feelings and I will cry now" game. Especially, that they already carry comm devices, which is no problem. What is stupid, is the fact that refferee makes a stupid mistake which then you can see on the replay on the pitch screen for everyone to see. I just wait for a pitch massacre to come when some country's fans come on to fight just for stupid mistake that could be avoided.

France was very much disadvantaged by referees in previous matches (1 valid goal refused against Corea, one obvious penalty refused against Swiss team...), Spanish and French are one of the most fairplay teams in this WC, they were respectful of each others, very few yellow cards, playing football and not waiting for the penalties' phase like others... Use your anger and bitterness against non fairplay teams such as the Dutch one ! Henry, played it well and you call it fair. The real problem with football these days is that refferees are major agent of who will win the game. Brazil-Ghana: two offsides after which goals were scored France-Spain: Henry acting wins them a game. NEtherlands-Portugal: a real shame rather than a match Australia-Italy: faked faul gives undeserved win in last minute of the game. The list goes on and on. There might be one or two matches that I would call ok. Other than that it is a disgrace. The tournament will end up with bloated'n'fat'n'lazy Brazilians win. I was only impressed with African teams, Australian and German of whom I would never though I would. I also suggest making an Oscar nominations for: - best fake of the World Cup. - worst refferee Also, Calling it a beauty of sport when a refferee makes a fatal mistake is the dumbest statement since the declaration of the fact that Earth is flat. When in snooker or tennis a refferee makes that kind of mistake he/she is penalized severly for that while FIFA bends the universe for its purposes. Shame!!!

So, Max isn't the only option for modelers.

There are a lot of very cheap modeling software available on the market. Hexagon for example you can get for 30$. Silo is very cheap either and you'll get upgrate for free. All you have to do is to look around.

As offtime said it, It all depends on the textured object. Also, you wanna keep good resolution in places that are mostly visible and low res on those obscured or hardly visible.

Ok Dead. Wouldn't you agree that todays mid-range PC is a far better than it used to be 2-4 years ago. I agree that it'd be nice to populate the environment some more but it is still a game and it is still about combat simulation. This is why I wouldn't put 50=50 weight distribution on game units and environment population. It isn't a Simcity for Christ sakes. It would be nice to have population like that some day, though. All of them unscripted, just reacting to local situation. An urban fight with all of those chicken-like citizens running around. Ehhh, dreaming...

Come on. You are aware that PC industry progressed since OFP release and it can handle much more these days. It would be a valid point for developers to make ARMA Vista compatible as it is said (I know it has been said many times before) to come out this year. I would recomend making higher poly models and higher resolution normal maps as the opposite looks crap. And, to cut the graphics crap, simulation includes visual resemblense.

I would like to have a possibility to rig, animate whatever in my app and then export it to O2 by whatever means, meaning OBJ, Collada you name it. Is is possible with new O2 or engine for that matter?

I did a whole lot of models just for ARMA but without any SDK of any kind I can't do much with them in terms of animation, coding etc. The models are fairly detailed and there are still many questions I need to be answered: -Normal maps? -Weapon parts animation -Unit animation (can I rig it elsewhere?) -weapon sights etc.
