threre must be something wrong at BI for there to be more information on Game2 that is going to be released some time in the next 1-2 years, then on Armed Assault that is due in less then 2 months.

har har har,.. real funny as to the question on the topic. no.. nothing is going on with this game. why? cause Bis has yet to give out any type of statment on weather anything at all is going on. the least they should do is tell us if things are still moving forward. i dont care for pictures or a demo. i would just like to know if things are still going and if the release date is going to be pushed back. what they are doing to us is evil!!! and if January hits with out any news, i for one will not buy it. i'll just wait another few years for GAME2 (when ever the hell that comes out).

quit fishing for info you are not going to get! im just guessing here so anyone(suma or placebo) can tell me otherwise. it's possible that Bis is waiting to see the impact of OFP:E, and seeing that so many people are getting it and are liking it; its save to say that Bis can get better offers from publishers now. i think BIS already has a publisher and is busy working with them to get the publisity and add campain ready for a suprise release. it only makes sence to be getting ready to release armass mid November-early December, just intime for Xmas. anytime after that would be a waste, and Bis would loose alot in sales.

thats due to the different camera angle in 3rd person. its kinda hard to explain so i wont. just get used to it and live with it.

i also think steam would be a nice thing to have for ArmAss since it d/l the latest patches and can even work to d/l new addons.

.. they have stated that we are not to ask question about ArmAss.. there for i think that this thread will be closed real soon. no one knows anything about ArmAss to be able to answer your question

at this point i would be happy if they would just tell us if its going to be delayed. a late release isnt new. but keeping us dangleing from a thin string by our teeth, not knowing what is going on is not cool at all.

well well, its now November and we have yet to hear anything about a possible release date. i wouldnt be too happy if BIS waited ti'll the last minute of this last quarter to announce that AA will be delayed. i hope they give us something in the next few weeks if not earlier. it wouldnt look good on them if the last quarter passes with out any information on a possible change of release date. it's better to be informed over the reasons as to why AA is delayed, then to have the stated release date pass only to leave the community in the dark. at lease give us something to help us understand what is going on, and help to quench this fire that has been brunning for a while now.

what i would like to know is if they are going to have ragdoll for the soldiers. then we wouldnt need death animations. i have seen some videos on real combat (nothing pleasent) alot of the time when a person is hit by a bullet or even fragments from explosives, they just drop like a doll, since the pain of the injury is so great that they just go into shock and drop to the ground. im not saying that when ever you take a hit you go down, it'll depend on how badly you get injured.

remove game from consol, drop game on the ground, step on the game, piss on it, then for good measures, burn it.

how about going with valve, and their steam software. that VAC anticheat is really good and it's self updateing. wouldnt mind having ArmAss and OFP2(game2) sitting with HalfLife2 in my steam window. i voted NO for PunkBuster. i call it game buster since all it does is mess up the games. i didnt like it in Raven-Shield and i dont want it in OFP.

well about 2 years ago the FragHaus OFP server got a game going with 100+ players. even if it did lag like a monster it was done, and i think that wouldnt be a problem with ArmAss or Game2 since the net code is far better, or at least i hope so.

that is compleatly true. hollywood has pumped garbage into our minds over the years. the laws of physics state that every action has an opposite and equal reaction. there for the person getting hit by a shot gun, would have a force acting on them equal to that of shotgun recoil on the shooter of the shotgun. so by hollywood physics, if you shoot a shotgun you also would go flying.

has anyone considered maybe Steam/Valve as a publisher? they have great support and a good anti-cheat program (VAC)
