Something new i am working on is the IFV Puma from the Bundeswehr. There are no blueprints of it or any drawings so i had to rework it from some pictures. :confused: It will get some more details but thats how it is currently looking. -

I am working on two fictional Tanks and a german Missile Tankdestroyer "Jaguar 1A3" Its a pretty old Tank and not in service anymore but it just looks good My two fictional Tanks Cat 2A1 Panther 1A3 German Misslie Tank Destroyer "Jaguar 1A3" Also i am still working on a RAH66 Comanche -
They are in the model.cfg but nothing is moving , the treads are static , and the tank has a static turret you will have to move the tank in the diriction you want to shoot but then you can only use the MG because it won't use the maingun. Maybe the loader is dead

Hi, I was working on a Tank , now i was up to test it ingame. I created a simple config and model.cfg from the BIS Sample. But the Shadow looks out of place , the textures don't load and no animations are working someone who could help me out? Thanks will post a picture soon

I don't come further that way. Specialy the anims dosn't work in OFP you just hat to call the selections right and they worked. Here you name them and nothing happens.

Still the same problems , Shadow is weird but every faces are closed to me (o2 says they aren't but i checked them and say they are) , Textures are blurry 2048x2048. No animations , And the Maingun doesn't work too. will upload the RPT file as soon the upload site is up again Mostly its just the same "Error: dr_tiger\tiger1a5.p3d: Shadow polygon doesn't have 3 vertices - it has not been considered." I still get a CTD if i try to use my tank ingame. I don't have any idea what to do now , i tried everything to close all things in the ShadowLOD. But o2 still find non closed. Is it so damn hard to make a simple addon in Arma? OFP was way easier

@CRIONYK Maybe in the "Arma Editing" Part of the Forum. But not many people are reply there also tried it to get infos for how to make the anims on my tank working and some sort of infos. -
If i close them and select "find non closed" there are still some open , even if i close them

Ok i started Arma with just putting my Tank on a Map I deleted the old one here is the new RPT from it (Its 21,5MB??? packed it as archive) RPT File The game had a CTD as i was loading the Map with my Tank. So i didn't came to see it.

But there will be still the problem he won't load the textures and the Animations. Edit: Oh ya right the RPT RPT File

Ah ok i found it , the problem was , that my Shadowmodel had too much Faces. I will see how it get further -

@VXR Well i can make the UV Map in O2 but if i save it , it has a resolution of 20.000x 22.000 and the textures dosn't get shown in Buldozer , i tried it with the glass parts first , but it dosn't attach the textures to the model @CSJ Yes i have all LODs , i had always a look at the sample AH1 from BIS , seems to be everything ok. I have no idea what is wrong -

@Q With the config seems to be everything ok but something must be wrong with the model itself  @VXR Yes i saw it , just have to find a way into it  Edit: Well i tried it now to make a UV Map like in that tutorial but i don't think i come to an result with it -

no i just know how to make models and textures (not UV Maps) never made a config. But i think the config is right because it show up in the menu and everything else is fine too. Just if i want to test it ingame the game doesn't react . This is only if i want to test my model. -

After some tests i can say , something must be wrong with the model As i said the Game dosn't load if i put the Unit on the Map in the Editor its like a CTD. Thats pretty weird , never had those problems in OFP Â Â Someone who can take a look at my model? Hmm i tried to get it ingame , but if i put it on the Map in the editor hte game dosn't load and i have to return to desktop because the game dosn't do anything. Anyone know what it could be? I checked the model and it has everything like the BIS Choppers too (just no textures atm..) Are there no simple configs to check a model ingame like in OFP? Â -

Ok and now a another model i did. It took me almost 10hours to make it. Well after long long time i started with modding again. I am already a bit better in making models , as i was to OFP times. Well thats my first model i did its a own created Tank. Ok no just to open a new Topic all the time , i will post my work simply in this thread :P Ok this is my first attemp to make a plane, i've started to make a Boeing X-32A here it is , it just need some textures and then i have to search for someone who can help me at configurate it

Hmm have definied them now but now i typed something wrong in the config omg i hate cfg , well for tody i stop working , and today in the evening it goes back to the Bundeswehr for 3 weeks
