Awesome shot. Can almost feel the dust assaulting my eyes.

Nice shots, everyone.

In your Swat 3 shortcut , add -nointro The game will be launched without playing the Sierra logo and the intro movie. It should solve your .avi problem You, sir, rock immensely. Thanks for the tip! *skips off to rescue the Turkish ambassador again*

Thanks for the info, Speedydonkey. Pity I can't get SWAT3 to run anymore. Windows Media Player absolutely refuses to play *.avi files, so the game CTDs at startup when trying to play the Sierra logo.

I'd love that. Then I could maybe get around to making a mission (campaign) based on "Operation Nightfall" Oh, Jack Bauer... What a tangled web you weave.
-
Awesome reference, and great shot, too.

So, does this mean 'SWAT: Urban Justice' is no more? (It sounded terrible) Oh, and yeah... SWAT 2 was awesome. I loved using the breeching tank.

As my attempts at JPG compression have all failed miserably this evening, the desktop wallpaper I currently use (and like a hell of a lot) is found here at Deviant Art.

Great shots, everyone. --

This is kind of unrelated to the question, but my mother's Filipino. Grew up around Cagayan De Oro, I believe.

Tomorrow (half an hour away here in New Zealand) is April 25th, the day of the allied landings at Gallipoli in 1915. The observance of ANZAC Day as a national day of remembrance began with the first anniversary of the Landing in 1916. Since that time the form of ANZAC Day commemorations have evolved, with subsequent wars and new understandings of the full impact of armed conflict on those who have served their country. It is a day where we reflect upon those who sacrificed their tomorrow for our today; and recall the bonds of kinship that Australia and New Zealand share. Lest we forget. -- Other links.

Sounds like an interesting idea, SpecOp9. Certainly, it will be a lot of work to acomplish a mission of this magnitude, and it will need to be well-executed in order to carry some level of suspense. Perhaps you could intergrate the the 'sleep' script used in this mission if you need to bypass time. Or perhaps add in cutscenes to show a transition in time - Especially if you can take advantage of the naturally occuring effects in Flashpoint; show a rapidly rising/setting sun, etc. At any rate, regardless of the execution, the concept intrigues me.

[Funk loop] Who's the team that won't cop out when folks are asking when the Rangers are out? BAS! They say that Ballistic Addon Studios is one bad mother-... Shut yo' mouth! I'm talkin' about BAS! Then we can dig it!

(Emphasis added.) Source I'm stuck between thinking that's awesome or scary.

LOL. Awesome. "What's the colour of the boat-house at Hereford?!"
-
Great shots Killagee. Liked this one in particular.
-
Source What's funny about that? It's just some assholes trying to kill a whole species... Thank god at least someone tries to help mother nature... Well, nothing really. I just figured it should be posted here but I wasn't really sure if it needed it's own topic. My apologies if I've offended you.

Hope you're able to iron everything out - I'd love to terrorise the populace of Nogova with this puppy. -
Great shots, everyone. Something a little different...

There's one thing that bothers me: The presence of the Hitman insignia on damn near everything 47 owns, from his Hardballers to briefcase - For someone whose ability to use stealth and cunning is his livelihood, isn't that a little conspicuous? Nonetheless, I'm looking forward to the next game. As Gollum1 said, I'm hoping for more urban settings. Too many missions in the previous two games have been Bond/Special Forces sort of stuff - The Columbian Jungle missions from the first game, and to a lesser extent, the Nuristan missions in the second (Although using that .50 cal was awesome) To me, the Hong Kong missions of the first game are the epitome of Hitman game play.
