@ Shadow I am continueing my Mk23, I'll just throw it in on
my woodland SEAL unit.
Mk23 is still the best handgun in my oppinion.

@ Shadow, no the MK23 doesn't seem extremely large to me.
I've held DE's with no problem, there just really heavy.

For a bit of scale a G3 only comes up to my waist

I hope to find a decent Hk91 with the flash hider If I can.

back ground it's nice I can finish them... Little miss understanding?

I recall singing onto a SEALS project not a NAVY mod.
Hope that clears it up, futher qustions about it ask away.

Once again Opperator preferance
takes over. I'm not aware of any  "Limitations" gear wise
as of yet in the Seals. Sadly I belive we were talking about
adding one because there just isn't a decent one. I don't
recall anyone saying SEALS use it. But hey if we want to
go cutting content why not? Your call(s).

Nice. I'd sujest putting the trigger finger on the hand guard though, looks more sylish that way.

It's impossible to waste tallent, the more you work the beter
you get. Actualy I was told they didn't want to CO-op with us
so I just went ahead and started. This is like 2 hours into it.
Also it looks like they haven't left of the oppen windows for the .50's so I think I'll keep working on this one.

As for the Ch46, I've started on the hull now.
In between I'll be modeling up the SEALS.

After all it's our time and after two years of hearing
we don't want/need your seals because theres already
good seals. I don't see any Seals. So were makeing SEALS.
Bottem line. Not flameing just stateing.
So time to fire up my o2 and make a NAVY CH46 and some
SEALs.

What do you mean by truths? I'm interested, allot of people
THINK they know allot about NAM just because they watched
TV/movies. Allot of  people THINK NAM was a dirty war
just because they were told that and the other way around..
How does your mod portray it? (What kind of stand point.)
This is like a educational mod right? *hopes*
Also a "good" book on NAM is "NAM", which is a collection of
memorys written by Vietnam service men and women.
(2-8 page storys). I'd reccommentthat book.

I have this problem, but only with Spheres. It comes out flat, then says invalid faces detected and crashes. Â Any help would be appreciated.Theres a few numbers in there that need to be changed from 1 to 16 or what ever number you want.
there the two that are one up from the bottem. I think.
16 works well.

Seriously, since day one I've wanted to have/to make SEALS
for OFP 1. Hopefully for all of us, we can pull together, put things behind us, polie counts beside us and do this thing.

Did the guy who was working on them computer crash and all data was lost or something..the reason I'm asking is if the actual models are still intact they could help the guy who is gonna pick up the torch and carry on with the project....

Seems BAS and I were working on SEALS at the same time.
A mate of mine who's doing ADf units needed some new ammo pouches so thats an excuse for me to update my
models.

Also I think that something called "Operator/Mission preferance" has allot to do with what ANY operator wears.
But as some one said before, SEALS are long over do so
no mater what they wear, they'll be ok.

I think sniper skull just said he tried that, with no problem. I also use my SOCOMs on a regular
basis, (the skinned ones) without any trouble. I didn't say thats what the M60 will be using or
anything else. Do you have a copy of the SWP to experiment with?

Why hasn't it been done before? Well because most people THINK it's impossible.
Also why would 30 men have SOCOMs? Why would 30 men be in a tight group with SOCOMs?
Go ahead and bench this pack if you have it DLed. It's still going to run. Seems to me people really gave Inquisitor a hard time using those.jpgs/CS models in OFP,
now people are telling me thats standard? Â (Theres nothing wrong with it.)
I think maybe you all should also try something, removing all you user made addons. Though
it's not being used as an excuse more of an example. Without your user made addons where
would you be? Each user made addon is an advance in some way, and at one point had never
been tried before.
I'm not asking anyone to accept it as common place, I'm asking for help to get it finished. Know what? I think I'm going
to re do my paint ball gun only in high detail, then maybe do
my brothers and re release it. That will give you a taste of
"high" pollie.

@ Sniper Skull, thanks for actually putting it to the test.
@ Status_cz, I never had a texture artist who did any work except SASR Saber who helped me do the
layouts on the SOCOM before I filtered them. You can keep mentioning textures all you want but for
me a texture artist hasn't been a reality. So fact, textures will allow you to reduce the polliecount,
without textures I got bored and deiced to take the game's engine to the max. So far witch each
3.0 (Unreleased) weapon model, you don't need to go any higher because the detail is already
represented.
MY *THEORY* on why they don't cause an extreme slow down is simply because all the pollies
are grouped together, which means the faces will be smaller, the textures are on a 2 layout sheets
so the computer doesn't have to go looking for then apply 4-5 different skins to the model.
Now for an even greater surprise, the SOCOM is "low" pollie, I believe it's still under 2,000 in the
ALPHA .5. The skins the SOCOM uses are in 2 pieces. Both skin layouts are a .jpg and 1024x1024.
The point behind the pack was no to be "Just right" and in line with everyone else's models. I wanted
models where you saw what was really there, not just a texture.
The .5 ALPHA was a simple stepping stone to the 3.0 which should explain why the m82, M14 were
not correctly done.
If there are any questions about anything else, let's hear it.

Please take note not EVERYONE on a a Squad carrys a M60
and that the rest of my models are around 6-8k for the
rifles.

There was a slight slowdown during initial entry to the map but that soon cleared up. I moved forward over the crest of the hill, ordered 2-5 to move 75m to my left and 6-12 to move 50m to my right. Promptly I was
shot by a russian officer when I stood up from behind a bush and discharged my M60.

Second run. I tried playing another Mp3 slightly longer. ("Bad reputation")
Mission loaded perfectly without a slow down upon entry. I sent 2-6 to my left once again, 7-12
strait head on into the enemy. I then hid in a bush and watched/cover fire. 2 died as soon as he got 10m
from me (slight (Stutter lasted 1 sec then sped back up) slow down when russian fired grenade.
(All russians firing + me and 7-12 ) 3 died, then some one shot me again when I was in the bush.
During the cut scene bringing me to the russian who shot me looks like #5 died. : ( Still no lag.

Third run. Another MP3 playing ("Some day") Â Ordered team to advance, ordered form column Charged
strait into the russian's lines. 11 died half way there after he stopped to fire, squad got down. Set up base
of fire. 9 Died as he walked over me........ 8 got injured, sent 1-5 to charge. 7 Died, 3 bodies in view with the
M60 (no more then 10m from me) Got hit 2 times and crawled of behind a line of bushes. (Russians are
counter charging) Got hit 3 more times slight slow down (little stutter) when TAC events splattered blood
all over. Man became immobile and was hit with numerous sprays from automatic fire. Died. Viewed my entire dead squad with there m60's except 8-10 who were still alive and hiding in the bushes. : |

The final touches have been added in the lates unreleased/
un-show-cased version. This release was ALPHA version .5
It does not reflect the acuracy of the current models or the
use of polliegons in the current version. Does anyone read
what I post?

You all keep referecneing "textures" and a "lower poillie count."
since I don't have a texture artist, I decied to see how far I
could sucessfuly take the game engine out.
Maybe it's what I say, how I look, the people I talk to,
the music I listen to, the way I am. I don't know, is "shoot me
written all over my forehead or something?"

I've been working on this project with the same computer
since day one, and I don't have a problem with the pollies.
So why don't we just get this over with, you people want me
to leave because my 6 month old models are junk?
Or is there something else, please lets talk this out so I can
get on with my life, either way.

@ Shadow I think it's bussy, I'm DL them ATM.
@ BoweryBaker I worked with CRP on those dudes and
there Suchey reskins so we'd have to go back to him for
permission to use the models and CRP has left OFP all
together.
I was in the process of makeing new unit models which
I still have, thats what I'm updateing ATM along with the
ch46. I'll start on the woodland seals and show you guys some
pictures of them.
