    Shure the m4 makes a good sub gun, the Xm8 a good riffle

    but have we forgotten the days of the .54 caliber rifles and

    the .600 nitros? tounge_o.gif

    I'm a fan of HK more then colt. I know the name of the

    manufacture doesn't make the gun UBER but come on people

    it's HK!

    As always I belive intergration is the key, M4/Xm8/Xm29/25.

    Depends on the job.


  2. I'm referring to the g36's fore grip melting when being used in

    the LMG role with a beta C mag. Which has been corrected

    in one of two ways, a steel internal shroud, and or the Metal

    fore grip with RIS. The comment regarding that had nothing

    to do with the M4 or directly the reliability of a Cmag. wink_o.gif

    Airsoft on one hand sucks because for the price of one

    airsoft riffle I was able to buy a g3.


  3. About the G36, that is on the LMG in sustaind fire from a beta c mag isnt it? rock.gif Also that has been corrected with the

    perferated metal hood and RIS no? rock.gif I have a picture of it

    some where on cd. Also the loaded weight of a Xm8 is less then a m4. I have held a M4 before and to say the least I

    was un-impressed, shure you can kill with it, but it's not exactly a perfect gun. Not that the Xm8 is either.

    Pound for pound I'd rather be out luging a M1a or G3

    then a M4 or XM8. I really don't care if you want to

    use a .22 bolt action riffle, aslong as you are effictive.

    Also I am desperately in need of a texture artist,

    mainly for the SEALs themselves. The weapons

    could also benefit from a good texture artist.

  5. I am going to say this once and only once, this thread is not a

    computer performance thread or like wise.. For those who

    support the addon thank-you thank-you. For those who do

    not, lets pretend I didn't see that. I am still working on the

    models regardless of what some people believe.

    About the double magazine, maybe just make a mag that has

    60 rounds instead of 30 to simulate that? Yes, the player

    doesn't need to reload, so it is kind of a cheat but, they do

    manufacture 40 round steel magazines and drums for the M4.

    A note about the weapons in this package, when I

    mean "Family" I mean pretty much every mod of

    the weapon possible, not just a flat top and not

    just a standard. I am quite aware of the use of both.

    Yes the weapons will be scaled correctly.

    The boot on my NAVY SEAL is based on the OPFOR boot

    BUT, I cloned in a picture of a LA SWAT GEAR boot on

    top of it.

    Also here is a update on the new ACOG I finished.

    Might be a few errors with the ACOG on one side but

    I'll iron those out soon.

  6. You know I was really hoping you weren't going to say that

    because I am doing more then a M4. Also all the m4's out

    there do not have the detail level this one does.

    Secondly this m4 model is done along with tons of accessory's

    which you won't find all of the same quality in the same spot.

    It's a little late to turn back any of the weapons which the

    woodland Seals will use, simply because I have made them

    already all to the same detail level.

    Hence it will be much smoother. The M4 in OFP is simply

    talked about allot and not so much released. M4's come

    out with a few addons and people assume they are all the same..

    Why make "all these" m4's ? Because the authors want uniformity between the addons. Also take a good look

    at that m4, it's unlike any other.

    Extraction and I are working on a Joint NAVY SEAL project,

    Extraction is constructing the desert,CQB,and miscellaneous

    Seal models. I am doing the woodland SEALS and the SEAL

    weapons. Use this thread to discuss my Woodland SEALS and

    weapon systems.

    I need a texture artist, so I can complete my woodland Seals

    and the weapons for the package.

    Here are a few pictures of my work, the most current being the top picture.

    I will post more pictures in the near future as work progresses.

  8. I'm back at developing and unless extraction oppened a

    new thread it looks like this is dead.

    No updates from extraction, no nothing.

    Know extraction I'd be wise to get on MSN and talk to

    me even if you don't know who I am. crazy_o.gif

    At the very least extraction some updates cause your

    never on MSN. crazy_o.gif


  9. i just noticed they kinda look alittle dull i mean they have no chest rigs no vest no nothing are those in the works? If they arent say the word ill make them for you

    Keep looking it's all there just the same texture which

    is why it looks so bad. I was takeing advice and not

    modeling every nit and string but thats not good enough.

    Also I have not seen the weapons texture artist nor the

    woodland seals texture artist, extraction and navy seal

    have not been on MSN in a long time and I feel I am

    wasteing my time. Without a proper unit texture artist

    working with me I am not working I am wasteing time.

    In short untill there is more quoardination I'm not going

    to continue developing. Because. #1 I do not have much

    of an outling on what I am doing because extraction has

    not been quardinateing. #2 There are no texture artists

    working with me thus I cannot advance till the base unit

    has skins and base gear, thus a striped down unit is all

    thats being shown.

    If and when they can come up with the required things/people

    I can continue developing. Until then I have CBT work to do.


  10. Pathy i say go for it, as the same with Combat! they gave the credit and did it properly in the read-me and in the forums thread everywhere..

    I was under the impression we had permission for that...

    Also one meber bailed on ons before he finished skining my

    new troop models. The HKY base was used in there place.

    We had also in an early stage asked Suchy and Earl if we

    could use there troops and had permission to. Further along

    we swtiched to my models then back to HYK.

    Honestly what is so hard about re makeing what you used?

    Then it's your model and is correct and theres no sticky

    problems if this person comes back and chews your head off.

    As was said before, not responding is no.


  11. Interestingly enough. I'm asking what everyone ELSE is doing.

    Such as who was added to the team if anyone at all. Extraction has not been on in a while, this computer needs

    new MSN, and my o2 computer needs a reformat. I know

    what I was doing I kneed to know what THEY (The team)

    is doing. Little something called "Team... Mate..." seems

    were not comunicating well enough. So I guess I wait.

    As for where the 2 other fire teams are I'm not telling.
