Jersey is actually closer to France than to mainland Britain. As for British islands in the making, there's Cbfasi's North Devon island as has been mentioned and I think the Northern Ireland mod are making an island based on a section of Northern Ireland.

I think theirs may be a Series 3 based armoured landy. *goes off to chuckle about all this talk about snatch

Last I heard the Viking was still undergoing trials prior to entering service, that was a few months ago mind.

Never. They will NEVER release anything ever again. BTW. that Dusty's Btr-152 is DONE - why not make your fans happy and release it? RHS is a private mod? Keller, how much do you know about making addons? I'm guessing by that comment that it's not very much. There's a lot more to it than just creating a fully textured model, fiddling with the config to make it feel and handle "right" can take far longer than making it in the first place.

I can play air guitar and steering wheel bongos

All planes are able to jettison fuel, as Noon mentioned, it can take off with a full load of fuel, but it can't land with it.
-
By the sound of it they just circled for an hour to burn off fuel before landing.

Looking very nice, I may have to take a drive down that way one weekend

The latest US weapon: The sword!
DeLiltMon replied to gandalf the white's topic in ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
I was expecting the return of the cold steel not some fancy robot -
Any change of a download link?

Looking good, that camo pattern really does match the Nogovan terrain.

Well since your so convinced that they're dead and that nothing will ever be released, then there's no nead for you to read or post in this thread. Now if you'd kindly go away and leave the rest of us deluded fools to discuss the addons that they are not working on and will never release in peace it would be greatly appreciated.

I've managed to pick up the US Armed Forces radio on my guitar, I noticed it when I had distortion on and walked over to the other side of the room to do something taking my guitar with me stretching the 15' lead out full.

DKM's Lightweight, or Airportable to give it it's correct name as it's not much lighter than the standard model, just easier to strip down for air transport, may be the oldest as it could be a Series IIa, I can't remember if the headlights are in the grille or in the wings, if they're in the grille then it's a Series IIa, if they're in the wings then it's a Series III although I have heard that some Series IIa's were later fitted with Series III parts by the army as that's what they had available so it could be either. It's amazing the useless trivia you can pick up trawling through Land Rover websites looking for reference pictures  The Land Rover evolution: 1948-58 Series 1 1958-71 Series II & IIa Series IIa Lightweight 1971-84 Series III Series III Lightweight 1984 onwards Land Rover 90 (known as Defender 90 from 1991) Land Rover 110 (known as Defender 110 from 1991) Latest military version of the 90 & 110, as seen in Iraq, the "Wolf" Anyway enough of my off-topic ramblings and on with my praising of the Falklands work: Fooking A!    You've even managed to make the grille look like it's made out of horible brittle plastic and could crack if you stared at it hard enough, just like the real ones

Falklands Mod Westland Lynx AH 1 (TOW) BETA
DeLiltMon replied to -Ash-'s topic in ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
I was at Odiham in Feb, there were a couple of Lynx and a Gazelles there (part of the Joint Helicopter Command) and they were all painted green and grey. Nearly hit the blade of one lynx with the van I was driving, they'd parked so that they were overhanging the road -
This could quite possibly be the craziest idea I've ever heard of for OFP, but if people are willing to do it then I say go for it! After all we'vce already had Legowars so why not Shrimp wars?

The old man was a maintenance fitter at St Athan, small world. They've found the wreckage in 280ft of water, still no sign of the crew http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/cornwall/4080943.stm

Yeah, Locking Road to be precise

Forgotten I had these, they may be of some use to you. I took them at the Helicopter Museum http://www.project-ukf.com/DeLiltM....080.JPG http://www.project-ukf.com/DeLiltM....081.JPG http://www.project-ukf.com/DeLiltM....082.JPG http://www.project-ukf.com/DeLiltM....083.JPG http://www.project-ukf.com/DeLiltM....084.JPG http://www.project-ukf.com/DeLiltM....085.JPG http://www.project-ukf.com/DeLiltM....086.JPG http://www.project-ukf.com/DeLiltM....087.JPG http://www.project-ukf.com/DeLiltM....088.JPG http://www.project-ukf.com/DeLiltM....093.JPG http://www.project-ukf.com/DeLiltM....094.JPG http://www.project-ukf.com/DeLiltM....095.JPG http://www.project-ukf.com/DeLiltM....096.JPG http://www.project-ukf.com/DeLiltM....097.JPG http://www.project-ukf.com/DeLiltM....103.JPG http://www.project-ukf.com/DeLiltM....104.JPG http://www.project-ukf.com/DeLiltM....105.JPG http://www.project-ukf.com/DeLiltM....106.JPG

Falklands Mod Westland Lynx AH 1 (TOW) BETA
DeLiltMon replied to -Ash-'s topic in ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Put a leather jacket on it and call it Fonzie Very impressed, still can't get it to loop though. Is it true that Lynx deodourant is made from the exhaust gases of Lynx helicopters? Thanks for the crimbo pressie, just what I always wanted, something that flies and blows stuff up. Merry Christmas -
I spent hours playing this
-
Had a play with it last night whilst listening to Convoy. What has already been done on it is very nice, well done Delta Hawk It also has a lot of potential should someone decide to take it on and finish it. It would be nice to see a couple of different trailers, including a flatbed and a car transporter cabable of carrying vehicles (same method as the BAS MH-47). Also twin exaust plumes would be a finishing touch for the truck itself, as on DKM's Challenger 2.

Wasn't the new sail plastic?
