Read my mind, really. Maybe a short on the Assault on Nogova or somethin Â

The flashpoint thing, actually. Not the porno.

B&W was fun.
But then it just never went anywhere. I'd play for some two hours and I'd never get anywhere. My pet always ended up falling apart, turning into some bohunk slob with a gut hanging down to his knees. This is an added frustration due to the fact that I ahd the stupid bugger exercise all the time.
My biggest gripe is that I only had a limited choice, and then had to unlock the other ones. Damn, I wanted a turtle from the start

B&W 2 looks to be the better. Looks cool, has better features. But I'll be waiting for a demo first.

Based on the book, the movie Jarhead is ready for theatres. Stariing the likes of Jamie Fox and so on.
http://www.apple.com/trailers/universal/jarhead/large.html
Here's the trailer. Quicktime format.
Never read the book. Any good?

The artillery didn`t work. When I play as platoon comander and try to call artillery or any other support, than I get an "no target". AI isn`t capable to  call support too. Btw. I`m using this addons with the ECP Mod.ECP mod is most likely interfering with some scripts. Try using arty without ECP.

anyone seen this?Tae Guk Gi? Yeah. I think it's a great film. Got the same cash it seems as SPR, since it's pretty up to many Americans standards since SPR.

I watched "The Desert Rats" the other night. Quite good.

Hey, y'all-my .02I think the huey is a great idea. F-16's may be in order as well. I would use the leopard as the MBT and the m-113 as the primary APC. The modified civvie jeep would be my choice, w/out the lifting.
-Breaker Out
Little advanced for Everon to have F16's floating around. They're not that cheap, if I remember. I doubt Everon has the money even for T60's and up, even a few T34's or T55's would probobly be breaking the budgets back.

Game is cool. Might pick it up awhile after release or as a present when price drops or something. Slow-motion was cool, scored several shots that impressed me.
I've noticed amputation, but you gotta do something pretty drastic so it isn't OTT. Hit a guy with the penetrator round in the head and it was torn off. Another poor bastach ran into one of my proximity grenades. I watched it jump up and explode, throwing him against the wall. Both his arms were laying several feet away.
Nailing someone against the wall is cool.
But it's kinda easy. Maybe its the way I play. I didn't run out and shoot, but instead kept croutched and picked them off. After killing the first guy and ducking behind a corner, his buddy went on a detailed search for me. Slow-mo, a shot to the face around the corner, and he's down.
Proxies are my favorite weapon. So evil placing them in a spot and watching them try to turn and run once they realise they stepped on one.

have HDs fail.Seems to happen quite often these days.

I refer you to rule #4 - Sequels usually trump the original game, unless the jury agrees that the original is superior, or different enough to be included seperatly. Â Doom 3 is considerably different enough from Doom 2 to make it into the chart. Â Doom is very similar to Doom 2 and is therefore superceeded by the its sequal. Not a bad list at all considering
I think the basic idea is not pick a game for the amount of mods or massive community it has, but instead for the core original gameplay thatm ade it in the first place.
Half-Life was revolutionary in the aspect of Multiplayer and modifications. But, IMHO and probobly the Magazines, HL2 had a better single player than the original half life.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think in Season 3 they were sent into the LRRP or somthing like that. They had the tiger striped uniform and such.
I think I'll buy it just for the hell of it. Third season, then second maybe.

Anyone else watch Tour of Duty? I have Season One, might buy season two or go straight to three (since I heard Two was the worst). Any suggestions?

This list is rubbish,I disagree. Except for the poor location of OFP and the poor location of Swat 4, I think the list overall is quite fair and well rounded (meaning, while shooters are in the top, so are STR and RPG). The balance is there. But remember, the list is a balance of a staff-rooms mixture of opinions, tastes, and what the new flavour is out there. Newer games are most likely going to take tops for a while, mainly because they'll get more attention and everyone plays them. Can't argue with age, Day of the Tentacle is in the top twenty. I want to try it now, now that everyone in every magazien so far has pretty much stuck it in their top 100 lists and usually within the last 30 mark.
Glad to see Vampire: Bloodlines got in there. I'm playing it still, but it's tough. I tried playing a Nosfuratu. My lord, talk about ugly with legs. Any problems you have with your bodily appearence will most likely vanish when your eyes grace over that hideous thing. It's too bad that loading times are a pain in the ass, though. Game is really creepy too. There are some points where the game can be as tense as Doom 3. Right now I have to fight some wierd arse vampirish dude in the basement of this overly disgusting fleshy horror house.
I think Doom 3 should have made higher, though. Despite a few downfalls, I enjoyed it quite a bit and with the new content coming out from the community it's better. The new SP pack you can download is quite cool too, as some of the missions in there are as good or even better than vanilla D3.
There are also a few more I wish got higher on the list, but there's really nothing to it. Overall these guys seem pretty balanced in new and old, as well as genre. Of course the newest fads are going to take tops for awhile, but I personally have no real problems as the two most hated games in this forum I have a general inclination to play quite a bit. Half Life 2 has so much more freedom than many realise. Ah, nothing more fun than creating your own personal movie of an army of Resistance taking the massive train bridge from an army of Combine.
But it's too bad OFP didn't take tops.

The 1st Platoon of the Draconian Guard Mechanized Brigade of the EDF, with support of T34's and M60's, were able to drive the Russian invaders under the command of Guba out of North Eastern corner of Everon, securing a foothold that the EDF are hoping to use as a means to launch a counter offensive!

I dunno why, but the EDF troops are getting the most use out of any other add-on I've ever had.

everon would be very lucky to even have an army, look on the island, there's no civilized place to work, you can farm, that's about it. how could a country of farmers afford such luxuries as abrams & everything. i would suggest using russian equipment. afterall, after 'CWC' i'm sure there were plenty of russian vehicles left around; the US would take all of its back with them, they wouldnt leave them to a bunch of peasants. Â if you hadn't already made the things i'd say making them a special unit of a powerful neighboring countrys forces, but either way, equipment aside, they look quite nice. good job!Well, you can always say that the government of Everon is not limited to just one isle, but instead to a chain of islands or that the island is right off the coast.

I think a centurion tank design would go great with these guys

Hey, that soldier's looking rad. I've always wanted to see a Tiberian Sun FPS. The units in the game were so cool. Too bad the RTS was kinda boring.
-
A soldier can carry many more than just one round like in OFP.
Quote[/b] ]em... not many more! one soldier can carry two rounds, but in squad there is one more soldier who is carrying another two rounds for Carl Gustaf...
so in squad we have 1 CG and 4 different rounds for it...
at least this system is functioning in Lithuania's army...

Err..I never said anything carrying more than one round.

For some reason all of the UKF stuff dosn't seem to work well with the pack. Grenades are touched off on impact and I can't open the settings menu.

hmmm... i'll check the config as it may for some reason think its amphibious, when it doesnt have the ability to float.... i'd expect the AI on that occasions to use the bridge... its only the BMP and M113 that avoid the bridgesI disagree, I've notice the AI screw up on bridges constantly, unless placed directly on the bridge on some occasions. Otherwise, they'll drive into the water.
Once in a blue moon you can get a convoy to cross a bridge, but half the time they end up bouncing around every time they touch one of the street lamps running along its sidewalk. Then they do the OFP-Tank-Jiggy and eventually either throw themselves in the water or break the bridge.
I don't think its the warrior, but OFP.

Silly me, forgot about Wiki.
Thanks for info. I wasn't sure if the US in OFP were using an older or some other make of the Charlie-G. I know it was a Cannon today lookign at the Canadian government website, but wasn't sure if that was always the way it was made or something such.
Yeah, I'm a foo

VME Release !
in ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Posted
Exact same problem as with the last release, and it looks like they're never going to acknowledge its existence.
Several gun sounds and other sounds are muffled or non-existent for my SoundMax card.
No fix. No problem. Deleted.
