A person we carefully researched in both of my law classes during high school. Truly a courageous person, and I hope that future generations will remember her.

It also makes the AI more fun to play with. It's not that enjoyable to be fighting in a town and have the AI continually tossing grenades without firing a shot.
-
I didn't see this on your page 13 list, but are you going to see if you can fix the sound for the M16? I dunno if I'm the only having this problem (argh, so many pages), but after I fire there seems to be another sound a 1/2 second after.

In the ffurasia, the Huey(?) has missing bullet textures for the mounted machine gun.

I love my stoner metal and sludge metal, so here's some recommendations: Fu Manchu, Grand Magus, Orange Goblin, Atomic Bitchwax, Kyuss, Fireball Ministry, Monster Magnet, Orange 9mm, Fudge Tunnel, Clutch, Pro-pain, Sleep, Masters of Reality, Life of Agony, Crowbar, Helmet, Tad, Corrosion of Conformity...I always wear out the bass on my speakers Â

Those band names or flavours for a juice?

Hopefully you guys can pick up the mod once again soon. I was really looking forward to updated troopers to go along with the rest of the modding community. I thought about trying to make one of my own by skinning oneo f those inernational soldier model thing,s but I just plain suck at the whole modding thing :P

When are the rest of you whippersnappers gonna join up? Huh? Huh? Â
At the beginning of Summer 06, I'm signing up for the Canadian Forces as an Infanteer. That means blood, grit, and dirt. Out of all the jobs in the Army, Combat Arms is the one that appeals to me the most. Not planning on being an engineer in my life.
Regular, of course. Couldn't go reserve anyways. My dad hates weekend warriors.
But, good luck to you Harnu. Have fun, and then come back here to tell us any interesting stories you have about your time there.
Semper Fi.

Hey Power, I just noticed today that there's a panel on both sides of the Griffon that have the fear factor logo on them.
Big fan?

It's no groundbreaking game. But from what I hear, it's only about 30$ at launch. Pretty cheap in comparison to the 60-70$ I'm paying for most these days.
Loved the movie too.

Has anyone seen or heard any activity on the Operation Northstar team? A long time ago I recall them saying they're working on it. But it seems like I'm going to be off playing an Infanteer for real than playing with them in OFP.

I think the three CM games were really steps towards this. I'm pretty sure that they had a modern theme planned in mind for a long time, just didn't have the engine to break it in with until now.
I'm glad too. There are just so many things that are hard to represent in OFP that I want to do.

But this might be it. Moving a platoon through a dense market place, swarming with either insurgents or Syrian regulars. Suddenly, gun fire. Then you have to maneuver, fire, tracks, etc. It's just gonna be perfect. I can imagine the SAW ripping open as the squad runs to cover. Just...awsome.
Why do people keep bringing up battlefield 2?
This is not a FPS you silly.
Oh wow? Really? What is the Combat Mission series? I thought it was another Tactical First Person shooter! OMG! I DIDN'T KNOWS!
I brought up BF2 because I had high hopes in the team work and scale. Which, of course, were non-existent when I saw the demo. But I bought it anyways for fun.
My imaginative little story of moving a platoon through the market was not in a Bf2 perspective, but this game. Just looking at the details for the soldiers made me think of the details they're going to put in the terrain and urban enviornment.
I know what Combat Mission is. I have all three games.

Uh oh, Hellfish caught breaking a rule

Oh well, we're all human?
Anyways, I think this is the game I've been waiting for. Battlefield 2 I was hoping for something where I can at least work somewhat with a team, moving and firing with some idea of cover and maneuver. But instead it's exactly the worst case scenerio. The SAW is useless, and so is most of everything else that isn't 'special'. Especially the bunny hoppers.

Is it me, or did the AI squadmates seem a little dumber?
I dunno. Nothing new and it's just seems the same to me. I think I'll skip the hype this time.

What? No space lobsters?

In both wars, Canada was into them as soon as they started.
We were, afterall, still part of the commonwealth.

Quote[/b] ]New U.S. Department of Defense plans for the future!
The Department of Defense today has released to the public some of the United States government most top secret plans for the future of their military armed forces. Their revolutionary and imaginative ideas of the battlefield of tomarrow continue to advance the ability for the glorious country to dominate the battlefield.
First among a series of concepts shown to the public was that of their new 'Space Marine'.

-'New Concept of future US Soldiers in combat'-
"We really hope to make this work." John Susselmen, one of the lead designers behind the project. "Soon our marines will be able to jump from building to building, take RPG( ed:Rocket Propelled Grenades) in the chest, and dominate the battlefield without a single casualty."
The lead designer continues, telling those at the conference that 'they could be dropped from space without harm, and further damage the enemy pshycollogically with their menacing and monstrous presense.' Some may refer to these designers as being almost heretical to logical thinking and could possibly be lead off to provide their research to other dominate figures on the globe, but they assure everyone that they will continue to work for the United States government with loyalty.
The United States government has told the press today taht they plan to have this new battlefield armor, costing several million per suit, out into service by 2008.

How do you flip such a monster burger?

Define "Russians". Â There were Soviet prisoners who elected to join the Wehrmacht and were stationed on the Atlantic Wall at the time of Overlord, Goodwood, Epsom et al. Â The majority promptly surrendered to Allied forces having killed their commissar-like Nazi overseers. If you really wanted you could just shoot at the Germans and think, "Now is he a Russkie in a Nazi uniform? Â Nah, better not risk it...", and continue plinking away with either your No 4 Enfield or your Garand. Â
.See, these units are so good you can randomly attach any story to them, and it'll stick!!
Russian? Wern't the non-German Wehrmacth mostly Polish at the Atlantic Wall?

I think I found a bug. The C-47 Skytrain, the pilot is standing up. This makes it impossible to fly in the cockpit.
But I'm not sure if this is a add-on bug or because of the Animation pack I have.

The islands are awsome. The 7 Mountains island one is my favorite by far. Alot of other cool inclusions too.
However, one of the VC or (of sort) are carrying a french bolt action rifle (not sure, Mas39 or of sort?) but it dosn't seem to have any 'bolt' sound and the pause between the shots are very quick. It fires somewhat more like a Garand.
Personally, the only real thing I don't like, is the tracers. I can play with them, but personally I don't like them. Nothing against them, I just don't prefer to have the tracers.

hah, you guys are so going to die!
but seriously, wich zombie group is it? the many? Â

Dunno. But 119 Zombies in one spot means there's someone planning something.

I think Bn880 is going for ease of implementation. Personally, I don't use half the scripts and stuff add-ons come with because they're a pain in the ass to use. Alt_Tab, write down, back in, put in back, copy paste, rename mine, rename variables, copy paste, over and over until you die of boredome before you get any mines in there.
In fact, I wish there were alot of 'buttons' and 'sliders' we can use in the editor to ease the mission making process. I don't care how insulted some of you 'profession 100% ub3r effort' players are, I just want to be able to adjust how high my machine gun is without having to dick around with some long string of text and code that I can't be half-arsed to remember in my limited spare time.
