Redstorm: I don't have resistance, and I don't really care to purchase it (OFP-CWC is good enough for me - if I want "addons", I'll download them from someones mod section). Whocares: I don't "do" beta's, and those betas has been out over a month. I thought that the whole purpose of a beta was to find problems then fix them. So does that mean BIS can't fix the errors in Beta v1.55-1.60 in less than a month (LOL)? DC

Ok... I figured how to make one using Paint Shop Pro 7 by piecing everyones suggestions together. 1. Open your saved logo (*.jpg).  Resize the image to be </= 256X256 pixels (image - resize) 2. Select the "magic wand" on the left side toolbar 3. Click on logo (should see an outline of logo and outer border). 4. Selection - invert  (make sure "tool option" is set to "match mode" RGB value, "tolerance" 10, and "feather" 0) 5. Edit - copy 6. File - new...  Make sure the new image deminsions are 256X256, "Resolution" 72, "Background color" Black, and "Image Type" 24bit. 7. Edit - paste - as new layer 8. Select "magic wand" again, click on the newly created image and you should see and outline of the logo and outer border, as before. 9. Selection - Invert (now you should see just the outline of the logo). 10 Selection - Save to alpha channel (you should see a preview of the alpha channel; where the logo should be is all white surrounded by black) 11. Save this as a *.tga file (Truevision Targa).  You will get a message stating something about being able to save only one alpha channel (that's all you want). 12. Open TextView (you get from download section of www.flashpoint1985.com) and drop image in to this application and save it as a *.paa file YOU ARE DONE AND HAVE A TRANSPARENT LOGO!!!! Thanks to everyone for their help! Respectfully, DavieCrock

Aldegra: You say Paint Shop Pro is shareware, do you have a link that I may use to obtain it? Â If MaF's methods creates "opaque transparencies", then what methodologies should be used in Paint Shop Pro to obtain an alpha transparency? Thanks in advance, you guys have been great and very helpful!! DavieCrock

But how do you make it? What graphics program(s) will allow this "alpha channel" thing? Â What is an alpha channel? And how do I open one? Thanks, Davie

Aldega: What do you mean by "alpha channel"? Â I can't seem to find one in my graphics software to "open". Â Please give me some help on this. Thanks, Davie
