Come to think of it, you can be killed with just about anything if you put enough effort into it...

I meant the Australian Huey gunships, which the Tigers are being bought to replace... I'm sure other UH-1s will be in there (eg. the white one). The camoflague on the Tiger in the screenshot looks like the current Australian Army helicopter camo that we use on our Blackhawks (look at the photo on the left, second from the bottom & compare with image below)

My TNT2 M64 is still battling on, amassing a mammoth total of 618 marks on 3DMark2001 SE... I'm looking at getting a GeForce 3 Ti200, so that people won't point/laugh/stare at my 3D gaming deficit

LOL I just like the image of 'death by shovel' - do special forces have combat versions of all gardening implements?

I like the MGs as they are, although a working bipod would be a nice addition... What i'd really like to see though, is an M60/PK/M2HB mounted on a tripod somewhat lower to the ground than the current M2 mount...looks a bit daft really (unless it's used for AA, which it isn't). I think a new MG mount would make base defense look a bit spiffier (on bunkers etc.)

Taken from Army Technology: "In August 2001, Eurocopter, with the Tiger ARH (armed reconnaissance), was selected as the sole tenderer for the Australian Army’s Air 87 requirement for 22 helicopters. The Tiger ARH is a modified version of the Tiger HAP with upgraded MTR390 engines and a laser designator incorporated in the Strix sight for the firing of Hellfire air-to-ground missiles. The first Tiger ARH is scheduled to enter service in 2004. Australian Aerospace are to set up a local production facility for assembly of the helicopters and the manufacture of parts for the entire programme." And that screenshot looks mighty convincing that a Tiger is goin' to be in IL - which perhaps takes the UH-1 gunships outta the equation I don't think Indonesia's helicopter fleet is anything to write home about, I can't remember seeing any Indonesian choppers on the news. No doubt though, that they'd be hunks of crap (eg. Mi-8's or Hormones - *shudder*), as everything else in the Indonesian inventory is pretty cruddy (they bought a budget East German navy off the commies in the early 90's)

Why shoudl be UN using Mi-24 helos? For vehicles thaht are strictly offensive does UN use camo not white color. <span id='postcolor'> The Mi-24 has troop transport capability (granted, it's only 8 or so), so it would have some medevac/extraction/transport use... It's also a pretty reliable sorta chopper, and Russia (and other former Eastern-bloc countries) has a whole bunch of em, so it would seem to be a good choice for Russian UN forces. The screenshot looks triffic BTW

Damn right - i've wondered about this for quite a while... Like Satchel said, if you're wanting to recreate a recon patrol or something similar, you can either choose between walking with your rifle slung over your shoulder, or have him jog - it really doesn't seem realistic. The same can be said for standing still. It would be handy if there were a stance that would allow the soldiers to stand with their rifles in hand while not looking like they're gettin ready to start shooting. I've always wondered why the standard AI stance (ie. with weapon drawn) looks different to the standard Player stance...
