    look closer mate

all of ofp's wheels are pre created cyclinders (sp) in oxygen. getting a perfect wheel is bloody hard and not worth it

Come on fellas surely there must be someone out there who wants to join this great mod? Hell it's great over there. Lots of fun, lots of neat addons to play with in your spare time. It will help get the mod released quicker and you will get your name put in the credits at the end. You cant lose!

Heck i don't think i can spell it right!<span id='postcolor'>

Erm, your age does not matter, i have a 11 year old friend and he probably knows as much as Dra1n about helicopters...<span id='postcolor'>

Now thats something I'd like to see!

Besides, i'd much rather have a MI24/KA50/KA52 with retractable gears and differant loadouts than  some pesky jetranger.

    See, i argue like this:

Jetranger: "I am very cheap to buy, and cheap to maintain too, not to speak of..."

    MI24: *Fires guns*

    Jetranger: *Explodes*<span id='postcolor'>

    This man is onto it,

BTW, did i mention I had 20,000 hours?

there is a new command that allows you to change nose wheel sensitivity (sp)

  6. Thats because it is a training helicopter. It's the same one I'm training in. smile.gif I also don't like the idea of having the cyclic coming out of the middle. But there isn't exactly that much room in the cockpit for two cyclic sticks. smile.gif

I'll stick to my classy helicopters. I'm speaking from experiance here too. Unlike yourself. I would rather ride and fly an AS-350 over a jetranger any day and I'm sure that you would to.

I have flowen both, and would take the as-350 anyday. Besides, I'm not paying the bill for the running costs!

    Ok dude whatever

    The as350 can lift 1000kg

    The jetranger can lift 480kg

the as350 can seat 6 passengers

the jetranger can seat 4 passengers

    the as350 flys at 220kph

    the jetranger flys at 200kph

    very different performance wise.

M'kay buddy boy, when the AS 350 beats it in sales, youmight be able to say that. smile.gif<span id='postcolor'>

OMG I WONDER WHY IT BEATS IT IN SALES?confused.gif!!!!!

Because it's a CHEAP peice of crap.

It's cheaper to buy (by about a million dollars)

    It's cheaper to run.

    And it's cheaper to maintain.

You stick to your cheap POS helicopters...

  9. More than likely not. But your originial post said "...they use as350's in the US"

you should be more clearer on who they are... they could be anyone and everyone else except yourself would have thought. "WTF? No as350's in the US, thats the most retarded thing i've ever heard"

  10. Do I come from the US? Don't think so...! PLEASE PLEASE DONT ASSUME EVERYONE HERE LIVES IN THE BLOODY US. I'm sure there are AS350's used in America anyway. BTW I have worked very closely with both jetrangers, 500's r'22s and as350's and would fly and ride in an as350 ANYDAY than those other helicopters. Hell a jetranger doesn't even have a full hydraulic control system!

Jetrangers are crap. My Aerospatiale AS350 B2 ECUREUIL (squriell) helicopoter is almost complete.

  12. Hi all, my first model. It's the PAC Cresco 750 which is used widely in New Zealand for topdressing/crop dusting roles. The place I work at (Wanganui Aero Works) operate 6 of these aircraft locally and another 5 throughout the North Island of New Zealand. They also operate the Fletcher FU24. (built by the same company, but were made before the cresco's.) We also operate an AS350 Squirrel, 3 Jetrangers and 2 Hughes 500's.

Here is the model in bulldozer.

    cresco.jpg

And here is a real life image in it's hanger. (That yellow plane is called the Air Tractor)

    cresco4.jpg

(Also for those that have trouble pronouncing Maori names. Wanganui is pronounced wong-a-nu-e)

P.S I am also looking for someone to help me texture it - if your intrested, please email me at nicknewman@hotmail.com

Also, many thanks to Col Clink who has spent much time helping me with this. Cheers Rob.

  13. hello all, thanks for the help in my last post, much apreciated

however i have a new problem. when you turn the engine on the prop and spinner do not spin, they just sit there until the blur texture comes in. everything is named correctly. even col clink cannot figure out what is wrong.

  14. hi all, sort of new here to the community, had ofp for a long time, just started modelling and i got a few probs with prop blurring on my plane.

in game the prop used to spin perfectly fine, and then a white plane would come up once it reached operating rpm, after some changes to get the 2nd prop to spin on its own axis, the prop refuses to spin at all now, but still once it gets to operating rpm it changes to its white plane so any ideas on why its happen or what im doing wrong? can i please get the czech definitions and what i should be naming in o2? thanks alot

    Dra1N/Nick
