I thought it was supposed to be a patch not a total reconversion of a mod again. Alots of things were already great with ffur2006 and 2.0. Why changing so much?

imo the soldiers were ok in ffur2006 and 2.0 If i was a mod maker i would try to add and or fix others things. New effects. Thats where ofp lack the most.

Sorry i mean probably in the middle of 2002. Wasn't much popular at that time because the game was new.

Ishh this thread is dying. lol Hope the mod is not. With armed assault coming i doubt someone will want to make more effort into ofp. I could be wrong if we can use the current addons with armed assault!?

bloody hell, they really are fast! This hopfully should make the zombies a lot more deadly then before. Even the zombies with standerd BIS animations ran too slow, a person with a rifle (for some reason you run faster with a rifle then nothing at all?) could easly out run the zombies and usually there wouldnt be any need to even shoot them you could just run around them.At least with slow zombies you can shoot them. Just running its boring. Put 200 Slow zombies around you, you will have no choice but probably shoot. With fast zombies imo it suck because you run turn around shoot, run turn around shoot. doesn't make any sense. Again it all matters with the kind of mission we want. But thats just my opinion

aiDispersionCoefY=1.0; //should be ~1.5
in the class cfgweapons default to 25 just for fun and they do 1 shot or 2 shot kill from 200m lol

BTW, all machineguns don't have aiDispersionCoefY coeffs set.. therefore they inherit these coefficients from default class(that's why they still remain so deadly even after your changes to config).

Google, search OFP cpp2bin. When you open it, it should be a multicolor rainbow gradiant thingy window.My config is pretty heavily modified, so yeah.

Damn,  i changed the aiDispersionCoefX and  aiDispersionCoefY from the class riffle:gun to 20 and they still do 1 shot 1 hit at 200m+

Not to make a damn war here since there's already enough in real life but im on olemissrebel's side on this one. I myself have someone in my family who is in the army for about 30 years. I think he knows more than a kid who has never got in the army period. I'll ask him myself. Thats not all if you put en ai in the lowest skill in the game they are still too good so there is a problem. If anyone in real life was that good to shoot it wouldn't take much time to finnish a damn war.

imo because of the real life gravity i don't think a bullet will fly straight for 500m? And in the game while moving from left and right they can still do 1 shot 1 kill.

It depends. For your case, I'm assuming since you want ALL assault rifles made less accurate, change the aiming coefficients under the "class Riffle:Mgun" object. However, make sure this doesn't effect the snipers - search for "class sniperRiffle" (should be that, not sure), and if the first line reads:hmm now i tried everything but i just can't convert from bin to cpp or cpp to bin with binview i get some errors. D-scythe if its not too much, can you do it for me? please.
Just put any number higher so that they won't do 1 shot 1 kill everytime. especially for the ak47 and 74 etc

ya well in mp it make sense removing the tic tac. But there is a mod out there that when you put a satchel it make just a beep sound. Â It Was cool. I think its with 2k3 or something. Anyway its Tb's choice to remove it or not.

would be quite dumb if some spec op team wants to blow up a target and the enemy can disarm teh stachels in time cuz they found it by the beeping/ticking..thats quite stupid....
Well the enemy is already stupid so they won't disarmed it in the game
I bet they don't even hear the tic so whats the difference? lol -

Please remove the ticking sound from the satchel charge.Why? This game is already too much quiet. More sound = more realism imo.

For the sniping problem, just go in the config.cpp file, find class riffle, and increase the ai aiming coefficients. Higher = less chance of hitting target.Thx i will look into that. If i got problem editing it anybody could do it for me? thx

Almost 1 month already hope the patch is soon. The Ai sniping with ak47 is really annoying.
