  1. Yes, please can you disable Rearmed in the Expansions menu (restart) and let us know whether that makes the inspections work again?
  2. Take On Helicopters: Rearmed has been released today as part of Downtown patch (1.06)! It will automatically and seamlessly merge TKOH with a lot of our previous releases, should you have legitimate copies installed A special mention and thanks go out to Kju for his work on getting this initiative up and running! Some examples of what this means: Flying in different sceneries, such as (with improvements like clouds and lighting) More civilian vehicles, characters and environments to use in scenarios Taking on the massive Arma ORBATs in the newly released Hind No messing around with copying PBOs or other manual merging tasks (install the patch, start TKOH, enjoy the best of both worlds) Notes: We cannot make all content compatible, so e.g. missions may not work well when running the data from TKOH (simply run OA or CO itself). We are not upgrading old content to include TKOH features, such as the new getting animations, interactive cockpits, Picture-in-Picture, etc. Old helicopters do not magically get a TKOH-spec flight model, so they will fly as in A2.

  5. Hi there Community, It has taken a while to go through testing and getting rid of some nasty issues, but you can now officially upgrade to version 1.06 using the Downtown patch. We hope it will significantly improve your flying experience and enhance it with all the added merged content! Note: a hotfix to address the MP key registration issue has been released. Important Information This patch is for non-Steam versions of the game, requiring any version from the initial retail release v1.01. The lite version can be installed from v1.05 only. The full version can be installed from any version starting at v1.01. Steam and other digital platforms will be updated automatically as soon as possible.   6. Downtown patch (1.06) has been released officially! We hope this is the final Release Candidate of Downtown Patch (1.06), including Take On Helicopters: Rearmed. The RC only works from the 1.05 patched version. The changes from the previous RC are: Fixed: ambient traffic was not always visible from cockpit view Fixed: applying wheel brakes on non-RTD helicopters could cause a crash WARNING :eek: This update will modify your existing game installation. Rollback to previous version is not possible. Upgrading to the final 1.06 patch also may not be possible.   7. Did you land at the correct heading? If you are playing using HUD, you will see the heading indicated there. Otherwise you can find the specific values in your task description (M or J).

  9. Hi, this first version of Rearmed indeed does not support Operation Arrowhead (OA) DLCs (BAF, PMC, ACR). You may see them listed, but those are only the lite versions since OA is actively loaded. DLC support is on our radar, but we cannot guarantee it, and it will not be included in this patch.
  10. Hi, as a regular user I'd recommend to stick with final patches first, from the website Mattressi pointed out. The beta patches and Release Candidate patches are usually improvements, but take a little bit more work setting up and are experimental in nature. We'll have a final Downtown patch coming out soon.

  12. This was critical, non-TKOH copters indeed crash. Looking into it, thanks. You may wish to wait with your next test, as we intend to release a new RC with the ambient traffic fix very soon.
  13. Yes, the script commands to trigger these are the same. However, playMove can only work if the animation you are trying to play is connected in the animation graph (config) to the one your character is in currently. It then tries to connect smoothly to it. Have you tried switchMove?
  14. We are also unable to reproduce issues #1 and #2 CMay. Tried wheel brake on and off in several helicopters and situations.
  15. I've baited one or two programmers into posting more details here, but from what I understand this is technology to allow for more flexible weapon proxies and exact positions on the helicopters (introduced for Hinds). Yup, same as the most-recent beta patch.
  16. I've confirmed it here BeePee, thanks for the report. While programmers are looking into it, we are determining whether we want to hold back this patch for a fix, or leave it for the next one.
  17. Beta patch rev. 96166 released (1.05 required!) Changelog: We hope this fixes the cockpit disappearing issue. Those of us who could occasionally reproduce it, no longer can. The nighttime artifacts and crash are much harder, as they seem related to specific HW or drivers.
  18. Should only require 1.05 and it worked on our 1.05 test installations. We are going to release a full patch 1.06 (Downtown + Rearmed) RC very soon based on this EXE.
  19. Hi, so if I understand you well enough, you have tried to move your progress from one PC to another? Please tell us which files you ended up moving, since you'll also need your user profile vars file next to the campaign savegames.
  20. Sorry to hear about your accident! I like the concept and hope you'll keep going. Get some of the issues sorted out and I'd definitely watch it every time. It's a nice community highlights summary for those of us too busy to keep up with all of the online content released daily. Perhaps twice-monthly would be enough, and give you a little more time per episode? ;) Some feedback: Set - liking the mixed footage in the background! Timing - probable due to it being a pilot, but timing is the biggest issue now. A lot of pauses and silence. Once cut more tightly, it will be a lot more appealing to watch. Interviews - when talking about an interview, it would be nice to highlight some quotes as text on the screen. Camera angles - it would be good to dynamically script some different camera angles for the presenters. They are in a fixed position, so even just having a pool of fixed camera angles which you cycle through randomly could be interesting. Twitter - loving the recap of relevant tweets; especially cyberstalking Crowe and Moricky :cool: Music - sometimes the audio mixing was a bit off. I could not hear you talk when there was music mixed in.

  22. This is specific to these scenarios, rather than the helicopter. In these scenarios you select a role by getting in and then you remain inside for the duration of the mission. When flying the Hind in other scenarios (e.g. user-made), you are free to get in and out as you please.

    External vendors are out of our control. We can only deliver the product to them and support visitors of our own digital store. Note that the file does not have to be corrupt on their servers. It may have easily corrupted during transfer to your PC for many reasons. We hope you'll get the game working soon and enjoy flying :)
  24. Ah yes, you are right ... South Asia flashbacks are only available when they are offered to you by Joe, or via the 3 objects in his office.
  25. Try reverting (not replaying) to the Heliport and then finding the 3 objects in Joe's office that can trigger the flashbacks.
