Maybe they went AWOL on you? It's most likely a bug or something. I encountered something similar a while ago (with the 1.4 patch), just restart and it should be all fine.

It would be cool if Lukin was hiding somewhere around on "special mission".

Targets within range should be selectable by cycling through them like on a real aircraft or tank. Human sized targets are a bit trickier, they can be locked in on but usually that requires a manual designation, though tanks do this a lot better than aircraft do.<span id='postcolor'> That's exactly how the "cycle targets" key functions, tried that yet?

With that many AI units I don't think it will be a very popular map in Multiplayer.

There isn't much to do but there aren't any restrictions on it either, so you can do whatever you want in this mission. Do you want to pick everyone up in smart sports cars? or perhaps get them all into the Mi17 and paradrop them into the pub? Or what about getting the T55 and going on rampage? That sums it up, you have NOT completed Operation Flashpoint before you have tried this mission.

I'm pretty sure that he's aware that a gun can kill ppl, or else why would he be using it to kill ppl with?<span id='postcolor'> I know that, that was the point in my reply, the cockpit glass completely defies known laws of physics. In general, just some coding that hasn't been done yet (apparently only occupants of vehicles of the "cars" class (UAZ, Jeep, trucks, NOT tanks and APCs) can be shot in their vehicle).

I feel pity for all the ignorant fools who will run out and waste money on it when it comes out...at least my pocket isn't going to hurt. Case closed, condition zero will sux0r...

Besides, newer vehicles and weapons would also allow for a broader range of time setting instead of the 1985-1995 setting thats used in most usermade missions. That reminds me... WE NEED THE V-22 OSPREY! Nuff said! it's just the ultimate troop transporter.

Most likely true but I can't see how CZ could live up to it's name, even the original mod can't live up to it anymore. Only reason it still lives is all the ignorant 12 year old kids cheating on de_dust all day long. Visuals are far below todays standard without having any redeeming qualities (such as large maps or tons of enemies at one time).

Hitman 2 looks pretty promising and judging the original's succes even though it had some MAJOR flaws and issues, I'd say that H2 looks to be real seller.

Is the question what country you fight for or where the actual fighting takes place? You fight for russia and the actual fighting takes place on the fictive islands of Everon, Malden and Kolgujev.
-
Restart and set your defences up more effectively, use the busted russian tanks as road blocks (by using the functional BMP to push them into position), place ammo crates containing AT4 missiles in the south and south-eastern part of the village so that after shooting a missile after the tanks that shows up, you can quickly get a new. Place 2 satchels to the south of the village on the road there (but not too far out, something like 35-50m, you want the first abrams to drive over it). Place all but one of the mines in line just south of the road going east so that they follow it eastward, then place the last mine just south of the southernmost house to the left of the road going south (when looking south yourself). Lastly, block the southern exit with 2 wires, block of all access from the east with wires and empty trucks (note that the small fences on the east side can't hold a M60 back so also place wires there), block the western part of the town with the busted tanks and park the BMP in safety in your camp in the north part. Now blow up the first M1A1 that comes with the 2 satchels. The M60s in the second wave should be blown up by the mines, clean up with your AT4. Now quickly place a few satchels on the road going east so that there is a good chance that the fourth wave will pass over them. Then get in the BMP as the driver and order another spetz natz in as the gunner, clean up all the black ops that gets dropped to the east and north(should be 5 in total), then head to the south road (avoid any remaining mines) and engage the two M113s (one should be blown up by the mine you placed in front of the house, if not, waste it with a sabot round), clean up any soldiers that unloaded, watch out for AT soldiers. get back to the camp and park the BMP, pull back all your men and order them to hide in the camp with a hold fire order for the AT soldiers. Detonate the satchel trap when the M60s pass and clean up with AT4s, then pull back to the chopper.

Sometimes, if the soldier you want to get healed has a lot of actions available, the "heal at medic" action is bumbed to the next page. Just press 0 to flip through until you find it. It doesn't matter how close the medic is, as long as you all know where each other are.
-
Just to be sure, it's not possible to heal others when playing a medic yourself, other ppl (or the AI) has to come to you and choose to heal at you.

You need to order the A10s to target the laser dot, not the real target. It looks like the laser dot is treated like any normal enemy in the game and unfortunately that means that it also needs to be "spotted" before you can order A10s to target it, usually the A10s spot it for you on their first pass and you can order the fireworks for the second pass. Just pray that there isn't any shilkas around.
-
Since LGBs was never a part of the retail product, we can't expect it to be perfect. It would be good to see improvements in AI for both the A10s and the laser soldiers (so that they actually use the laser des.).
-
I think the animations are alright, what bothers me is how much you can see (or rather: cannot see) when using the laser designator. Even just 300m I can barely see my target through that "supposed-to-be-transperant" screen that covers the center of my screen. Coupled with that there is no zoom feature for long range targeting (the way the laser deg. is supposed to be used), laser targeting is a pain in the ass.
-
Either use kegety's object addon or Gunslinger's editor addon.
-
Apparently there is no way to defend your base "by the script", it migth be possible but the mission is not designed for that to happen.
-
Also, always use manual fire, can save your ass a lot.
