I'm still waiting for my Ewok Resistance fighters. Â They'll make some crazy s**t contracptions to destroy a T-80 tank with logs or rocks. Â Or they'll use a stone and a sling to take out a Machine Gunner from like 300m away. Â Or how about the Ewok Air Force, a hang-glider that drops 5 pound rocks on tanks. I've tried:<ul>[*]this AddWeapon "LaserDesignator"[*]this AddWeapon "TargetDesignator"[*]this AddWeapon "LaserTargetDesignator" None of these seem to give the character the Laser Target Designator, for example, to night Black Op or anyone else for that matter. Â Anyone know what to add in the INT field? Â Or is it stuck on the day Black Op and cannot be added to other soldiers. -=Die Alive=-

Too bad the forum only keeps the threads that are a month old, cause there were lots of threads on this subject.  Besides, look at the area of water around these islands, it's not enough space for an aircraft carrier to stay.  It could stay there, but s**t, it might get mortared or sniped from shore, that's why they stay like 100km away from land, away  from land based weapon range. -=Die Alive=-

How about the MDHC MD 530MG. Â It's more or less a Kiowa, so I guess we don't need another one of these. The 500MD Defender is a good idea, however, this website says it only carries 2 crew, not the 4 or 6 such as the transport/utility MH-6 Little Bird can carry. Â I think it's the MH-6 that is used as a Spec Ops helicoptor. -=Die Alive=-

I like 1.30, anytime we get more units, "bug fixes" (even though new bugs appeared after 1.3, but at least BIS is trying), and new missions, I don't see how it could hurt the game (unless the bugs are let loose to take over the game). The A-10 bomber, I like it, it's something that I wanted. Â I was hopping for a variety of ordinance, such as cluster bombs or even napalm?. Â The new A-10 is alot more dangerous than the unofficial addon bomber that uses high-drag bombs, that fall slower to the earth than these new smart bombs. Â High drag, or fin retarded bombs are used when bombing at low level, this way the bomb hits it's mark alot later and it gives the aircraft a chance to get away from the bomb explosion. Â I've seen a couple new AI controlled A-10 bombers blow them selves up when bombing at very low altitude, and I've done it a couple times myself at the begining. Â It would be nice if the new A-10s flew a lot higher, maybe at an altitude of 100 to 150 when bombing, then lower for straffing runs (which I've never seen any of these new bombers do, I've get a bomber to drop all it's bombs on a target, then I want it to strafe it, but it only fltys over the target). As for the OH-58 Kiowa, I'd like it, but I think it's not used the way it's supposed to be used in the game. Â The laser designator on top of the rotars should be the only thing exposed to the enemy when being targeted by the laser designator. Â The rest of the helicoptor should be hovering behind cover, such as behind a hill/ridge, or behind trees. Â It's alot harder to fly and have the gunner designate the target while moving. Â Also I'd would of like to see some WP marking rockets on the Kiowa. Â I know, That's why there's the laser designator, but it would be cool to have other helicoptors, (especially in MP) to see where exactly you need the ordinance put, and with only 14 rockets, you go through them pretty fast. Â If they were WP marking rockets (they'e hit, and explode in a ball of smoke, someting like a smoke grenade, but larger), then I could just place one rocket and get a cobra or AH-64 to "hit my smoke." This from my first site I go to when I need military info on units. Go to F.A.S Military Analysis Network. "The Bradley’s main armament is the M242 25mm "Bushmaster" Chain Gun, manufactured by McDonnell Douglas. The M242 has a single barrel with an integrated dual-feed mechanism and remote ammunition selection. Either armor piercing (AP) or high explosive (HE) ammunition may be selected with the flick of a switch. The Gunner may select from single or multiple shot modes. The standard rate of fire is 200 rounds per minute, and has a range of 2,000 meters (depending on the ammunition used). A wide range of ammunition has been developed for this weapon, making it capable of defeating the majority of armored vehicles it is likely to encounter, up to and including some main battle tanks. I just tried to do it (with 1.30), and it didn't work for me. Â In fact, there wasn't even the option to "Throw Weapon". Â I put a civie next to a ammo II box and he picked up a satchel and then placed it like normal, but there wasn't any throw weapon action command. Â Then i tried it with a unarmed soldier, same thing happened, no throw weapon action. But when I had my Law guy without a M16, the "Throw Weapon" action came up but did nothing. -=Die Alive=-

I won't bother reading all of this thread, becasue it's an non-issue in my books. Â I only play Co-Op MP games, so personally I have no need for JIP. Â I like to get a few gamers, get a good mission, then we talk about the mission and how we're going to proceede in the mission. Sure sometimes I get disconnected while loading the mission and that's a pain, but I don't want to see gamers just respawn in the middle of our co-op game and then ask what's going on and what's the plan is, I just want that done once at the beginning. -=Die Alive=-

I think maybe it was part of a pre-released Beta version of the game, then it was "removed" when the EU version shipped but wasn't totally "removed" and the WEAPON THROW action was left. Â I'd like to see this bug turn into a feature in the game, though. -=Die Alive=-
