You could download the Operation Flashpoint Mission Assistant.

It doesn't work. I get killed then stand up again, but the "You are dead" screen appears.

You can't make invincible units anymore. It's a bad thing because it was good for testing your missions.

You can experience day and night with the SkipTime command, for example skiptime 12 will skip time for 12 hours.

Try putting those lines like this: respawn=3; respawndelay=5;

I can only think of making your custom faces into an addon.

What does it read in your .ext file? The problem can be for example one missing character or something like that.

There's probably some broken trigger in this mission.

What does "crash" mean in this case? Does the game freeze, crash to desktop or does your computer explode?

Placing them at the end of a runway is easier.

But when you add it, there's no ammo. I tried this addmagazine "LaserDesignator", but that didn't give it any ammo.

Laser designator=LaserDesignator. Or at least it says so in the config.cpp.

It's a VTOL airplane (like the Harrier).

You don't have to destroy the boat. Destroy his Scud first, then you can just kill Guba by shooting his UAZ with the Hind.
