Yep, it's the same with both versions. It's not depending on any addons, without any mods (beta 59928) I get just like 3-4 fps more. Too much AI for my machine to handle at the same time I guess. -

Thanks, this seems to be working alright. Unfortunately, my PC isn't strong enough to handle 100 AAA vehicles + air enemies (not even on Utes). FPS rarely goes above 10. -

Doesn't seem to be working. There's a single impact point (judging by the impact effect on ground), single line of tracers, and it takes a longer time to empty all the ammo (approx 6 seconds longer) then with the original version. I'm using it myself for a few weeks already, and it's really useful, flawless recovery of everything it disables and yes, performance in arma2 is better and much more stable (less stuttering).

To be honest (and I'm going to sound like an idiot here): I don't really know what does that entry do, but alot mods used it before so I thought it's somewhat important.. Thanks for telling me about it, will make sure to remove it for 1.3. :) -

Even if you would be able to run beta build 59928 on a 1.03 patch, it wouldn't bring too much good things. For using current betas it's best to go up to 1.04. Didn't notice any new disortion myself yet. For me it's pretty much gone for a long time. -
If a guy from ESRB would see this thread, he would probably get a heart attack. And yes, even though it would be more realistic to have children, nobody could stop people from creating children-killing missions and videos. The game is so open to editing and changing things that limiting stuff you could do with kids in a similiar way as it was in Fallout 3* is impossible. * And yes, even in Fallout 3 there's a mod that adds killable children.

If Robert didn't modify names and paths of the existing models, it should work just like before. I'll have a look at the updated weapon pack later on today, change camo weapons config to actually include the woodland weapons where possible and do the freaking sound replacements already. -

Uh, while playing a coop today, one of my friends suggested an interesting feature: Could some trees fall after they stop burning? Like, randomizing the number of fallen trees, and making it optional via the .hpp? If it's too hard to do or would be bad on the performance, just forget I even posted this :)

Done ;) I wanted to use the RIS since the beginning, guess I just forgot to change it :p 1in1class: Sure, I'll add the modfolder for 1.2, but there just has to be some problem on your side O_o Now just to get the sound replacements done. I'm not sure how compatible they will be with other soundmods though.. -

Well I could do it for the 1.2 release, but I doubt it's going to change anything, the modfolders are pretty easy to set up: Create a folder called @Weapons (you can call it whatever you want) in your ArmA2 folder (C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2), open it and create a folder called AddOns in it. Copy RH's weapon pack (rh_m4.pbo and rh_m4_cfg.pbo with the .bisign files) inside the AddOns folder. Copy my replacements (You can choose which do you want to use, but I'll use just Cole_MFamily_Replace_M for this tutorial), Cole_MFamily_Replace_M.pbo with the .bisign, inside the same AddOns folder as you did with RH's weapons. Open your ArmA2 shortcut (right click - properties), navigate to "Target:" box, you'll see this: "C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\arma2.exe" add this: -mod=@Weapons the result will look like this: "C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\arma2.exe" -mod=@Weapons (note that there is a space before the -mod parameter) Click Apply and then OK in the properties window. Start ArmA2 using that shortcut. This just HAS to work... If it doesn't, you can try dropping both RH's weapon files and my replacement to the main AddOns folder, just don't forget to delete them if they don't work! Actually, even if it does work, you should delete them from the AddOns folder, because putting anything directly in the AddOns folder is definitely not recommended. -

Just tried to download the patch, works fine. Are you using Google Chrome by any chance? Chrome can't connect to FTPs.. -
