Hi everyone,
I am searching for a script to spawn vehicles/planes and halos (both west and east)
After they are destoyed they spawn 3 times at base and move to certain point (marker)
I know there is a spawn function but not sure how to use it to achive above.
Any noobs guide showing how would be highly appreciated.

Thanks Carpaazi. The playable units (or lack of) was the issue. Now that I placed playable units in my group, it works fine.
Only spawm related question I have is if I have a commander attahced to HC logic and commander dies and he respawns into another unit, he loses the commander control over other groups. Even if you synch other units in groups with the HC.
Any work around??

That command works pretty well. Only problem, the following squad follows too closely to each other .. waY too close!
The CoC mod was a great module and I wish they implmented it in this game!
I have had one mission (SP) using HC where I had battallion size force attacking the southern coast. Of course I had to team switch between different platoon leaders to get squads moving .. but was epic!
I hope coc make an arma2 mod soon!

Well there is way to command AI sub levels AI .. well more like follow leader. Has bugs but works if you squad to follow platoon leader.
I will post command later when back home.

I am still having problem with respawning. I did add the marker and named it respawn_west (does it matter what type of marker?)
Still no respawn. It is a bit frustrating as I am at loss why the respawn is not working in MP .. my unit turning into a bird! (could have been worse .. like a cow!)

Hi everyone,
I have searched for MP respawn for arma2 and followed instructions but for some reason it is not working in MP.
This is what I have in decription file:
// Respawn Settings
respawn=4;
respawndelay=5;
The 4 is the group respawn
Could someone be kind enough and point out what I am doing wrong?

Actually, you can have a few levels of sub/commander/sub/commander/sub etc .. levels in chain of command .. sort of.
You have a High Command Commander connected to sub units then have those subs units connected to HC commander which in turn connect to sub.
So a Company commander you will have direct control over you platoon leaders
But to control squads you have to:
Team Siwtch to plaoon leaders to command squads or Have another human player control platoon leaders in MP.
I can upload a mission later if still confusing.

At the risk of sounding noob (which I am!) I have a couple of basic??
- where is the folder that you unpbo/pbo?
- Could you clarify what is high/low skill value?
- would changing these values effect your own aim/accuracy?

Yes, CoC was a great mod that added a new depth to the game.
I hope there is an update as Arma2 has much more potential for larger battles!
If anyone has news please do share! :D

I have tried to look up COC for arma 2 and nothing came up.
Anyone know if it has been modiefied to run on Arma 2? a new version coming out?
Honestly it was much better than the current HC module in current game.

Could someone please for the benefite of those new to Arma2 (including me) confirm how to add this pbo to mod folder:
I have created a new short cut and added following to Target:
"C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\arma2.exe" ; "-mod=@Arma2_Mod";
The pbo was added to
C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\@Arma2_Mod\AddOns

Works great!! Untill you remove the "know about" trig then they stop shooting
their enemy can be 30 meters away and still no shots. Even the west does not shoot when attacking?? Do you need the "know about" for it to work?Thanks for your help

The error msg( No entery ."modelSpecial"
) I get with certain addons I am using with the FFUR Euro mod. It only happens with certain addons and I wonder if there is a way to overcome this problem?

I'd hate to sound like a broken record .. but grrreat job TB!!
Certainly added life to an older game!
The only comment I have is regarding the new light system. Looks great from the air but on ground I am afraid it looks unrealistic.
Is there anyway to disbale tracers? I have it disbled in options but for osme reason infantry seem to fire nothing but tracers??
Finally out of curiousty, you keep refering to having to go somewhere soon? New Job? Getting Married?

Anyway great job! OFP will miss you!

The following has been done:
I Got a replacment Card since it might have been defective and still same problem!!?
What could possibly be wrong?? As I mentioned before, night mission no problem (except if I use NVGs then I get the pixles and flickering all over screen) and Daytime missions where the screen just goes crazy. This doese not happen with other games or video applications.
I am at a loss at what might be casuing this???
Any help is highly aprrrreciated!

I have this frustrating problem with my displaywhen playing OFP.
Problem: When I start playing mission I get all sorts of flickering, distortion and pixles on my screen. Funny thing is this happens only in daytime missions. Night missions no problem unless I use NVGs. The flickering is so bad the game is unplayable!
I have searched the forum and folled some of the tips and hints:
- Updated all video drivers.
- Patched up my windows to latest update.
- Updated Direct x
- Updated Bios.
- Re-installed OFP
AND still same problem!!
My system:
2.60 MHz Intel
1 Gig RAM
ATI 9800 Pro 128 Ram
Windows 2000
Please any help is highly appreciated!!!

FFUR certainly has the best AI improvments of any mods I have seen. I hope down the Rd you can do more work on AI improvments such as advanced squad tactics (flanking, advancing under fire and retreating) and formations.
To me thats as imprortant as the addons if not more.

How is the AI inside buildings? can go upstairs and serach and clear rooms? Take shots from windows? Can AI crouch behind cover?

Thanks CryHavok. I have used that script to spawn infantry and it works great! However, it does not work for vehicles/planes ...
Any other ideas?
