    I'm not sure what load-bearing system you've got on those blokes, DLEM. Look alright to me - but you might want to try and emulate the MOLLE system (like on modern HYK troops). Good texturing!

    Nah, it definitely requires the ECP core, I'm afraid mate - FFUR has no DSAI support, sadly. Glad you like it! I'll look into that error for you. If anyone gets an error, can you please remember WHAT NUMBER sound it is? Then I can fix it - it's most likely a config problem.

    What I mean is - adding extra sounds to the respective archives of the ECP_DSAI.pbo, inserting the extra sounds descriptions into the ECP config, and adding these names to the array in the ECP_database.ldf in the ECP_effects.pbo. It seems like a lot of trouble, I know, so I'm looking into the alternate route, now that I've gotten this system to work. And as for realism - you might be surprised at the quality of some of the sounds. For games especially like Red Faction, there may be some entirely ridiculous ones (usually combat lines   ) but I don't include them. I put (what I believe) are the most realistic - it's a buzz when you hear a squadmate say (in safe mode) "Ever have one of those days?" "This is easier than my last girlfriend." "Would you believe, I used to faint at the sight of blood." "I didn't sign up for this!" "Well, I did ask for adventure." "I could really go for a ham sandwich right now." "When my shift's over, I'm gonna go play video games!" And as for Doom sounds (I haven't been bothered cracking the Quake IV sounds - I've got far too many already), I've only included snippets from the PDAs, which sound quite good. However, if you'd prefer I kept it for my own use, so be it!  Oh, and aren't there MOHAA sounds in the base ECP? I'm fairly sure they are, since I have all of those too...

    Gday Komuna - I've read your EULA, however... I was thinking of adding these files to the root ECP DSAI sound addon files (and its internal folders) as .wss + lips to remove any need to add more scripts to the config... however, I probably wouldn't be allowed to distribute the altered addon, would I? Or could I complete the addon, mail it to you fellahs for testing, and then you lot could release it under your name? If not, I'll just keep it for meself - no problem!

    Not to argue, but ECP does all of those things too (except replace the units). And what - works immediately? ECP works immediately too? But hell, I love both of them (my EECP is better though, heheh! jks)

    You're about to get wasted by the mods, so I'll be quick. If you have ANY other replacement anim pack installed, the animals won't work. That is, they won't work unless you have a clean OFP (animation wise).

I would direct you to OFPEC (home of all mission makers), cause there was a script there that did exactly what you wanted, but sadly, their site is down (for now!!!. Anyway, try the DAC.     Those are really good articles, mate - certainly opened my eyes. I'm not sure as to whether BIS will incorporate things such as multiple weapon-on vehicles, though - the tanks seem much the same (better model and textures, but no commander/gunner MGs).

    True that - time to put it to rest, and wait patiently, lads. Btw, if you don't like the NVGs, do some data and data3d editing (I advise you use ECP's 5 or so selections or the original FFUR ones).

    When (what date) did you all first play ofp?

    I find that making Flashpoint as real as possible has all but taken my focus off every other game I own (I only finished Doom3 and Quake4 twice before getting bored of 'em). The hunt for the newest and best addons to add to my own mod and its campaign keeps my virtual life going. And when FFUR 2006 and that new M1A2 comes out - 'nuff said. I sincerely hope that the community doesn't shrivel and die when AA comes out, because mission makers like me have one hell of a time playing OFP and making use of the wonderful addons those crafty modellers create for us. <Wipes tear.> I spent $2000 on upgrading JUST so I could run OFP how it should be run - not a single damn regret - I love it.

    I vote leave out the TUSK - not worth it. My monster computer can handle it, but I'd rather have heaps of tanks, ta very much.
