Ah, Rage. Also known to me as Operation Steal The Chopper. Seriously, in every OPF mission where there was a helicopter to blow up, I stole it, killed everything in the whole level, then landed it and blew it up with RPGs or LAWs. Gave me a score in the 100,000 area or thereabouts. Hehehe!

Great job guys. Thanks so much for churning this one out so quickly.
-
Ah, Shmashmouth, I'd just think that they're so good that there's no need to praise them! Noone ever comments my pics either - I'm fairly sure that's because mine are mediocre - but I don't mind. I just keep on wasting bandwidth!
-
I second what Marco said - some ACU and model tweaking would be greatly appreciated. Looking foward to the update.

To save you the trouble... It's the BOH M249.

US DSAI Extension v1.0

And edit the .pbo's config - yep! -
Offtime's GROM, that's aboot it I think.

Yeah, that one was meant for the combat photography thread, but to get it to appropriate size, it would have had to be fingernail sized. Â I couldn't resist putting in here cause I'm lazy.

Some more screens of Llauma's head via Operation FacePlant. Comments + abuse somewhat welcome. Â Air Crew A slightly irritated Captain Yevgeni Martinov suggests to a colleague that he will have to tie down the Ural before his Mi26 is able to take off. APC Crew BMP 3M2 gunner Corporal Timofei Klerk celebrates his 22nd birthday, his vehicle in the background. Assault Crew After disgorging his squad of Russian Federation infantry, Captain Martinov prepares to lift off, while his copilot Sergeant Gennadi Visovic describes the size of the fish he caught earlier that morning between thumb and forefinger. Crew The notorious Takanov twins of T80UM2 #69 discuss their lunch options. Crew II The crew of a Russian ZSU-23-4 defend themselves from a roving militia patrol after striking a homemade mine during a river crossing. Infantry US Infantry keep a close eye on the northern rail approach as the sun recedes in the distance.

Turning OFP into your favourite game!
CameronMcDonald replied to gandalf the white's topic in ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
Open data.pbo in Res/data/htwl. Then, using either a texture editor (make your own if necessary - however, i'd just find an empty texture and overwrite the older one), fix the file, and rezip the pbo (uncompressed, of course). You'll need a PBO compressor/decompressor, I suggest MikePBO or PBOx. -

I tried to tell everyone there wouldn't be multiple gunner positions, no commander MGs, but no... "bah... what does he know?" (Just had to get that out of my system). If AA is a disappointment, I'm just going to stick to ole OFP and put Llauma's heads on EVERYTHING. Then, I'll run it with ECP and that DMA cargo firing script, with my 7900GTX - it'll be BETTER than AA! -
This has been fixed too - the animation simply had to be added to another LOD (Offtime forgot to add it to one in the latest version). See the Llauma head discussion topic for more info. The only bug now I can find is that when I start my Llauma-headed guys in a vehicle, their faces are fecked until they get out. After that, all is fine. Also, please check your PM once I send you one - I have a question for you.

<cough> Bolero <cough> Â Oh, and Thunderbird, as much as I thank you for using the correct model for the Woodland US Crew, I must also throw you an evil eye for not using it in the ACU Crew... they've still got that shitty PASGT/Alice gear on! I've posted a pic of what they ought to look like on the 14th page of the Llauma head discussion topic (although I've also given them ACU OTVs and Llauma heads).
-
Nice pics, HotShot. Heheh, that bloke in the foreground of your second picture looks like he's either just been kicked in the balls, or has eaten something quite unpleasant.
-
Check the Llauma heads thread.

Check your PM, DLEM.

I sincerely feel sorry for you guys. It hasn't crashed once for me.

A couple of Questions re Flashpoint Preferences
CameronMcDonald replied to bagman's topic in TROUBLESHOOTING
Cancel that, your system kicks mine in the rear...(talk about battle o' the titans! well, at least until I get that new 7900GTX 512! Then you're in trouble. Glad you found what you were looking for. Â -
Turning OFP into your favourite game!
CameronMcDonald replied to gandalf the white's topic in ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
See above: the guy has painted a certain file in data.pbo black (I'd make it transparent myself...). Thus, this makes the material properties addon stick out more. Haven't done it yet, myself, but I'm curious as to what would happen with flares if it were done. Welcome to the forums! Â Oh, and nice processor! -

Oh, man... I seriously do NOT like this one bit. Mainstream players? Hell, I play this game partially to get away from all the BF2 and MOH unrealistic I-can-kill 300 "tangos" crap. Man, now I'm all worried... -
A couple of Questions re Flashpoint Preferences
CameronMcDonald replied to bagman's topic in TROUBLESHOOTING
CPU Benchmark is simply "how good" your CPU is. My 3.94GHz monster gets 6510! (What about yours?) As for changing values, look for Flashpoint.cfg in the root Flashpoint folder. Oh, and welcome (back?) to the forums. -
What he said.
-
Ah, in OFP I used to fly 100 resistance Cessnas over 100 Shilkas, and try to make it out alive! Was the best mucking around I'd ever done.
-
You can use the init line of the leader to change the whole group's skill. 'Nuff said. Â

A nice little self-revelation there, mate. I figured that one out waaaaay back. Glad you like the game, and welcome to the forums!
