    I love that ambush video. I shit you not, I felt nervous for that bloke standing on the road before the convoy came... so bloody atmospheric. I'm glad Sahrani seems to have the woodland areas I love playing in OFP, with the pine forests and whatnot. Desert areas are OK, but not my favourite. For a while I was scared Sahrani would just be a bit dustbowl, but it seems that it's got a bit of everything. The second I get that game... it's straight to the mission editor.

    Damn straight. I wanted to burn those bloody Russian berets when (way back in the day) I first played the CWC Campaign. It was always an officer, sometimes through bushes too. Bloody uber AI targeting.

OFP Settings: - Everything on full, 2250m viewdistance. - 2048x2048 textures. - Modul Sky v1.0 - CWC Roads OFP runs at at least 30 fps all the time, no matter how many (well, up to ~150) high res units I whack on.

    More the merrier, eh. Give the kid a chance, Stash! There are a ton of things FFUR doesn't do right, IMHO, and probably in Big-Rooney's opinion too, so who knows? Maybe this work will improve upon that.

    Freakin' oath. Heck, both FFUR and Sgt. Eversmann did ACU troops before me, and it didn't stop me (or CodeBlue for that matter). I say go right ahead, make what you want. Addon makers should do what they are interested in - they aren't just people who are "filling in the gaps" left by other addon makers. I know if I wasn't doing stuff I wasn't interested in, it wouldn't even get off the ground.

And M983 monocular NODs? 1in1class - sorry mate, I'm not really up to changing the BWM stuff, and I don't feel the drive, either, with all the work I've got on. Hate to disappoint you. Â

    Wrong, mate. Download the original units and check. There are BIS faces in there with the helmet shadow. What I meant was that original BIS head texture + non-BIS overlay shadow = modified head texture.

    1in1class - you mean the BWM as in das Germans? olemissrebel - righto, flashbangs + smoke punted. Are there any other things as far as MOLLE layout goes that I'm missing? Other pouches, for example? (I have a few blank spots to cover up, s'all.)

    Original head, I'm fairly sure (CodeBlue uses modified textures for the head for that sweet helmet shadow, though).

    About the last thing I need to do is to add dirt to my textures, redo the blood textures (thanks to Shadow_NX) and then everything will be rosy. I refitted the M983s yesterday, and that should see some significant savings in CPU power. One other thing I need to do is to create a blurred edge on the helmet shadows, but that should just need some experimentation.

    Haha - a page back I asked if the US Infantry had upgraded to the AVNS13 NVGs (monoculars). Turns out they have (ta olemissrebel), so now I can cross off about 1000 polys from the 1st LOD! Woot! EDIT - And 2nd and 3rd LODs too! Noice!

    It's not too hard when you think about it, any addon maker could do it. That said I won't give it away. I've put those pics up now. And I've also beefed the troops up too, they are now thicker and bulkier.
