Gunterlund - I'm thinking it's conflicting scripts between ORCS MI and my own, but I'm not exactly sure why this would happen. Hmm. I will crack open their PBOs and take a look at what's going on. @Chipper - you leave my monster machine out of this! -
The lean is fine, just need to see the scoped sight leaning as well (like the ironsights). And the sprint looks like he's got 1.5m long legs. Ah well.

Yeah, the Jav troops kill themselves but good. The way to fix it is to modify CBT's Javelin, but I thought I'd be a good lad and stay with the original. I once made a script which fixed the Javelin (gave the missile a little boost to keep it off the ground) but didn't release it. And I really should get around to an LSR USWP only patch. I gave the RTO's new headphones last night (looking phat! so it seems I'm not finished on these hunks of hulking ACU goodness. Yay. -
Hahah, like your point about the G11, but the same could be said of a 250mm Atomic Howitzer (except that would be more like firing cased radioactive elephants or something). AI-dependent recoil would be phat.

As a user of a 5.56mm weapon, I can tell you that those guns have little kick. I find the recoil looking quite good, myself. Watch some videos of an M4 firing. Little kick. I saw a video once of some bloke firing a mag off (poorly) in full auto with one hand.

Can't talk to you about the drivers, but I read in a Guru3D review that the 7950GX2 fan is a bit noisier than past models due to the close proximity of the GPUs to each other (and thus a higher fan speed needed for increased dissipation), I don't think it's temperature related, seeing as it maxes out at 65 degrees. -

After all the work I've done with these heads I'm kind of intertwined with their destiny... good luck, let me know how you go. - EDIT: Remember, EVERY unit with the FacesTex 2 head will need to have this animation defined, otherwise the bug will occur with all those that don't. -
Nice pics, though I'm fairly sure drones can't bend their heads like that. Looking sweet, though.

Damn straight... and J W, though I like bragging, yeah, I bought a 750W one cause I intend to get a nice little Quad SLI action up and running soon enough. I've already ordered one of the new Gigabyte Quad Royales for next week. Plus I overclock everything. -
What's bad in that new video: - Ironsights don't lean when the player leans... not sure if this is a bug, but it sure doesn't look right. At least this happens in OFP. - Agree with Tioner that crawling is far far far too fast. Bloke looks like he's on something. And that running animation is bloody gawky. - The viewdistance couldn't be more than 2000 metres... I thought we were promised an astounding view in AA... each video seems to have a smaller viewdistance.

Changing the BIS head back is easy. One just needs to be sure to: a) Attach the head to the shoulders, since BIS heads don't have a very long neck. b) If you can't do a), stretch the neck. Â Big-Rooney, check your PM. Action Man, check my FP thread.

@action man => I apologise for not replying, but you'll find this is the first time I've posted since I posted the patch up, so a bit of patience on your part wouldn't go astray. The real reason your units face's aren't working in the custom config is because (I assume) you are missing an animation which is required for the same face to be used after a save game. Look in my config (unPBO the addon) and find the FSet animation. You are missing this from your config. It is needed so the faces will remain after a save game. @Kyle => Sorry mate, I'll get on it should I have the time. I've found another bug in this version, so it seems my work is not yet finished... @Salvatore_Lee => The civvies are doing well, I just finished updating the police units with parts of DeadMeat's updated police, so the riot police will have gas masks. @Para-trooper => I meant to change the weapon dependencies to just LSR's pack, but that's my fault. I use LSR's pack for the MG's and AT weapons, which rock hard. @Everyone else => thanks for the kind words. I'm looking forward to getting my hands on the ArmA ACU units so I can fiddle with them. -

Agree totally with what you say about the Exorcist, at the risk of being shot by a mod. First time I saw it I laughed, especially when the devil showed up for .1 of a second - I thought it was Captain Flash or something. Plus it's not like the "gore" in Flashpoint is that bad. Missing limbs and tank shell-facilitated disembowelment would be gory, not the happy tomato sauce spillage we see in OFP. Is this different in OFP:E? I don't have the pleasure of owning an X-Box meself.

Shameless nudge of my own topic! Version v1.3 released! Hooray! After weeks of slackness and fiction writing, I can finally put out what will be the (hopefully) final version of these buggers. New features: - Updated webbing. - M983 NODs added (saving ~1000 polys per model! - Helmet shadows, which operate without changing a face texture! - Dirtied textures! - Bigger + buffer units! - Redone blood textures! (ta to Shadow_NX) - Several other CPU-saving deletions. - Fixed "white skirt" issue. Enjoy, guys, at least until CodeBlue's units or ArmA shows up. Christ, I just noticed Nephilim's little explosion a page back. Poor thing. My gaming computer isn't connected to the internet, so any crappy-ass-dodgy-Microsoft-RiseofLegends-style-autoupdating-without-an-option-to-copy-a-pa tch-file-separately bullsh*t will end in my waltzing into the BIS Prague offices toting one of the following: - Protesting sign. - Steyr. - Motor vehicle. - Pained expression. Or any combination of the above.

Mate, that cover is so good I have to sign in just to say so - great stuff. And yeah, the detail there indicates quite nicely the level of boredom you must have felt... even the age restriction stickers! This should have been a competition!

Agreed. Plus the poor bloke actually died, so people should leave their criticism in the cooler until everyone learns to come to grips with his passing. Pity bloody Germaine Greer couldn't.

I would advise telling the unit to stop, before you make them sit down. Otherwise, chances are the unit is trying to follow you.
