People are far too whingy if you ask me. But yes, the cracks are enabled, and can be heard in a few videos out there.

There's a separate topic on the Microsoft website, and in all good motherboard booklets. 32-bit Windows XP will only recognise up to 3GB of RAM. Google it, you'll run into fousands of topics. When I get home I'll post the official link for you.

Nice post up there Deadmeat, I agree with a lot of it. However, I thought I'd chuck in this little snippet: you'll need a 64 bit OS (If using Windows XP) and supported CPU if you want to run more than 3GB RAM properly. Not sure about Vista, hopefully it knocks that flaw out.

It's a tossup between recoil and realism in this case, since most weapons, especially the M16/M4 series firing the 5.56x45mm NATO round have very little recoil in real life. The same complaint was made concerning the M4 way back in development, and now I think the M4 has far too much recoil - you can fire the weapon stably in one hand FFS. Heatseeker - no burst mode on the AK, thank god.

Looks good, just needs some shadow mapping now, and all will be rosy.

I'm quite happy with the new look of the editor. I think it's tops, and serves its purpose better than the OFP one, without that cluttery + space wasting outline.

BigRooney - that was the plan... however I'm currently working on an Armed Assault project, hence I really don't have time for this any more. Hopefully there should be some pics of my ArmedA work within the next week or so, depending upon my beta testers.

Just a quick question - what model of GBU are the Harriers carrying? I thought they were GBU16s, but after closer examination I may be wrong. Just need to know so I can keep working on my custom stringtables. Thanks.

I'm fairly sure it is, although it also seems to be interchangeable with "Deserted Island" on other versions I've watched.

Just curious, if we pull this conversion, and people release missions with English-only briefings, like me for example, since I don't speak Czech, does this mean we won't see a briefing at all? And if a mission is released with BOTH Czech and English briefings, we'll be seeing the Czech one, true?

400W PSU is quite marginal if you intend to go to SLI, keep that in mind. The ironic thing is that the 7950 is still costing as much (if not more) than the 8800GTX over here. For the mobo, I reckon either a Gigabyte or ASUS offering, like the P5N32-SLI for example, but see what you can get for a reasonable price. I always thought 2GB RAM beat the crap out of 1GB, even despite a higher clock speed (unless we're talking like 200MHz DDR vs. 800MHz DDR II).
