    Don't know if someone said this before: what about DKM's Tunguska? Is that AA-vehicle too powerfull? I think it could replace the Shilka?

    Well, I am not sure, but I have Y2K3 7.0, 7.1 Patch and 7.2 Patch on HDD, so I think I upgraded it step by step. Its a few days ago I did. But if you say that the patch could cause that bug I will d/l the 7.1 full version to try that out. Will report again what the result is. Thanx for that!

    I cannot confirm these bugs. All the Features work well. Did you use the current Basic Pack 1.5 which has been released today with these tanks? Maybe using a previous version caused that bugs? Its my suggestion. Or maybe you did not place the "BWModLogic"? And "my" Tanks are situated under West-BWMod Armored. There is no longer a "MP-Version" of Leopard 2A6 I see. So all the MBT's are now under these standard direction. Great work as well!

    Y2K3 Version 7.3

    Hi, I have Y2K3 7.2 installed and played a little bit around. The thing I was wondering about is that handgrenades do not work any longer. They are shown in inventory and I can throw them, but while throwing no grenade is to be seen and no explosion or other effects appear. And yes, clouds (Wolken in german) are enabled, of course. These "phantom grenades" do not cause any damage, it seems they aren't existing. Anyone else who noticed that?

    For some Missions you need a gunner. There is one standard BIS Mission yiu are a V-80 pilot and your objective is to destroy an american AA- and armoured position. For the case that the player is a single unit in that mission I think that could cause problems. But thats only one mission I know which would be unplayable. I think thats ok comparing ti what we will get instead of.

    wow! That looks great! And a special thanks to Parvus for his excellent pics! FFuR project is one reason that OFP ist still alive an attractive I think. These replacement and effect mod makes sure that alot of custom addons will be found in missions and campaigns. Really awesome!

    Sorry if I missed something in this thread. But Denorc from ORCS released a Replacement Pack for standard BIS soldiers a few months ago. Its not perfect but it looks very good I think. Maybe it can be improved and detailed, so that it fits high quality aspects? Link to ofp.info: ORCS Replacement Soviets

    This one? edit: if you want to buy one: this is the site I've got the pic from: Russian winter cap They write that these caps are known as "Uschanka". Maybe our russian friends know more about that. East German Army (NVA) used this caps as well and some Police Forces in eastern states of Germany as well until today (without that soviet symbol of course).

    I express my regret too. As reading your statement, I think we should remove the d/l mirror from our german OFP site ofpc.de We didn't know that the release was not authorized by the team. Sorry about that. In future, when the mod will be released officially, you are welcome to get a mirror again!     Don't know, but if Thunderbird used the ORCS- BMP then there are the cargo proxies outside the tank. In this case its not a bug, its only the alternative version of that tank.

    If you have Winrar installed, just unpack the .exe-installer: right klick on the .exe-file, chose "unpack in Folder xyz (my language settings are german, so have a look how it is in english) and then run it! .exe-files can be easyly unpacked and installed manually in the folder you prefer without any complications. Second, the Shilka: of course, a new one would be nice. But do you know DKM's Tunguska? It's a hell of an AA- vehicle, high effective and hard to take out. I think it is well made and should be used in missions as well as the bunch of new T-72s. DKM Tunguska on ofp.info

    Me in need of some one to write configs

    Just a suggestion: maybe you can make your units for each side (west, east and resistance) so that there is more flexibility to use them in scenarios. There is a lack of well-made OPFOR units in OFP with even good weapons. Maybe you can equip them with RHS or ORCS weapons? I tried to "convert" the regular BIS resistance fighters this way, but I failed due to the lack of knowledge. Keep it up!

    Katastrophenschutz Mod, abbr. KatSMod. It's german and means Disaster Control. You can find their forums here: KatSMod hosted by HX3 Foren I remember Operation Farmland made a few policemen... And Occitania, related to OFrP, made French Gendarmes. You should find them on the famous OFP.info site. And there's also the funny "Nogovan Police Pack" by DeadMeat of BAS, who equipped the standard BIS Police cars with working flashlights and signal. His addon needs another PolicePack (GAZ24) to work. The whole collection ist to be found on ofp.info. OFP.info (english)

    Well, in current mission I used them as OpFor. But why not to make an exclusive mission for RHS? Could be the next project. These tanks are really excellent, the problem still is to find attractive OpFor units for an RHS mission. When I decide to make a scenario against western forces like Americans then there is a lack of enemy tanks to face the T-64s. And if I decide to use T-64 on OpFor site as rebel forces there will be the lack of irregular troops for a credible russian scenario. This occurs on many mods at this time. My mission should be for BWMod, but they don't have acceptable OpFor units too. Its a problem of most of the addon groups that they don't take care of OpFor units. So I will have to use the standard BIS resistance fighters. My idea is to use thiese soldier models and to equip them with your weapon pack. Unfortunately I am too dumb to do that. I tried and it was not successfull. Maybe you could do this job until more attractive resistance fighters will be created? The idea behind is to use same WeaponPack when both sides are equipped with russian/soviet military stuff. First step in this direction is your T-64 Pack, which contains tanks for resistance too. Unfortunately thei cause CtD (Crash to Desktop) when placed in the editor. So I cannot use your T-64 tanks on resistance side. Many people don't like the "Russia vs. USSR/Russia" scenario anymore. So they would like to see a "real" russian mission against an enemy of the present. Do you know Saddam's Tchetchen Insurgents from Tropic War Mod? These are an excellent addon for OpFor, but they equipped them with ORCS weapons. And it is inacceptable to use two different but nearly equal-contented WeaponPacks in one mission. Again, every mod has this problem. Until BWMod is finished with a couple of units I want to make my mission for OFrP as playable side. But OFrP is on resistance side. No chance to use OpFor addons on this side too. Well, that's the obstacles on mission making if you want to leave the boring "US vs.USSR" scenario. greez Clausewitz

    Just a question: I want to make a cutscene with one of your T-64 Tanks. I want to make the tank firing his main gun. So I need the name of that gun. Could you tell me that? Yes, I know that T-64 Pack is currently on beta status, but these tanks are excellent, so they should be used in a mission. Thanx!

    ORCS T72B 1.2 Release

    If they don't want to see their stuff praised here... it's their decision. But I like all the modern soviet/ russian gear and don't want to miss ORCS' work! I played a little bit around with their tanks and they are awesome! The effects are very nice and I would like to use them in missions. But my problem is the lack of russian language. I do not understand and cannot read russian. So I depend on english OFP sites to be informed about ORCS' work. Thats the main reason why I am disappointed about their decision not to allow discussions here. There are more fans of their stuff than they expect!
  25. The difference between these units I didn't find out yet. But there are three types of ammo for RPG 7V Launcher: RHS_PG7VR: smallest one. Needs two rounds to destroy M1A1 Tank RHS_PG7VL: medium one. Needs 3 or 4 rounds to destroy a T80 Tank. Equivalent to standard  BIS RPG. RHS_TBG7: a thermoblast warhead. Very weak against armored units. Needs 7 rounds to destroy a T80 and two rounds to destroy a BMP. Seems to be intended to be used against soft targets or so? Didn't find out much about this item.
