Excellent news about the Beagle It's another of those planes which belongs in OFP...A small tactical bomber which was used for all sorts of roles.

Don't FS2K2 addons have higher face counts, and general complexity than OFP addons?If so then I don't think it would be a good idea converting one as when you're flying, you want as much fluidity as possible...

It's certainly enticing :-) But as a person with not much experience with 3D modelling, which (free) software would you recommend to get started on? Is there a tutorial for Maya? Should I even attempt to, keeping my (lack of) experience in consideration?

My uncle is in a virtual F1 Championship which uses GP4...He's a mechanic and knows pretty much most of the stuff there is to know about F1 and motorsports in general and if GP4 is the sim he chose, best bet is GP4 is the most realistic one (Lol..He basically built and bought everything he needs bar a F1 cockpit to enhance his virtual driving experience )

Until somebody makes an O-2, a good compromise would be to use the US Army textured Cessna (you can find it at OFP.info) as a FAC-A and equip it with smoke rockets (there are smoke rocket scripts at OFPEC.com)...It wouldn't be perfect, but it's still good :-)

I think he's referring to the GsH-23 cannon equipped Suburban from The Jackal. Personally, I'd love to see just a black Suburban with black tinted windows, like in Traffic (great movie) which could be used by,say, CIA operatives, or paramilitary forces

Ahem...We're not all blessed with high speed connections Dauragon It took me 7 hours, 2 minutes and 57 seconds to download TONAL+Tango pack, and that is only because it was a BAS addon, therefore it was 'theoretically' assured to be worth the time/money to download.I doubt I would have gone to that amount of 'trouble' it if it were made by a team I hadn't heard of before.

Are there English subtitles? Because as much as I think this is a really cool addon, and something which would certainly enhance my OFP gaming experience, I can't understand Russian for sh*t

Is -nomap a sort of compromise?For example are there things you can't usually do/changes to the aspect of the game,etc when you impliment this command?

I was experiencing the green screen bug, and an install of 1.92 solved the prob, just means I can only play on 1.92 running servers when I need a lot of addons...

The warbirds scene is and has been growing for ages (warbirds being de-militarized combat aircraft like MIG-15s,F-86s,etc...) To think you could buy a Spitfire Mk.IX in 1946 for as little as a few quid Nowadays it takes months,years of searching for parts and expertise all around the world to get one back into flying condition (although the Spitfire is one of the most numerous warbirds these days along with the P-51, other aircraft like F6Fs, Blenheims are much much harder to come by). There's a charity who's aim is to get a Vulcan back in the air (there aren't any now in flying condition).Last I'd heard of it was that they could do fast ground runs, but they needed more funding to get it that step further, airbourne.Sadly the lottery turned down their request for a grant so it's up to the public to help get this beautiful aircraft up and flying again.
