I voted in MD for Bush and already MD is already a very biased state, all mostly democrats and liberals.... In my college even the profs. try to get you to inherit their political ideals and views, hello? I'm paying for an education that will make me sucessful in life... I'm not paying for a bunch of biased rethoric that profs. teach becasue the college is biased. oh and they also Bush Bash frequently becasue it is politcly correct to bash Bush when really you should be bashing the heads of the terrorists in....

Maybe Bush payed Osama off to conduct the Sept. 11 attacks and once Bush had the vengence of the American public on his side he went after Osama, which ticked off Osama..... Who got Bush to go for saddam by telling Bush that Saddam has WMD's that Saddam was willing to sell to Osama

What better way to capture him then finish the job.....IN IRAQ??? so, are you saying that because Clinton.....The one that the liberals look to as a guide farcked up his chance to stop Osama by not sending in a team to take him out, made it very difficult to find Osama becasue not only is he afraid of being cruise missiled again, but now he has to worry about US forces finding his hiding place. So instead you place the blame on Bush becasue the man is already incredibly difficult to find even prior to 9/11? I think you need to get your logic straight. We probrably wouldn't have had this mess if Clinton wasn't such a cocky president that thought one missile strike would take out Osama Bin Laden. Please, I call that arrogance on Mr. Clinton's behalf.

Yeah, well, so why havn't your Deltas done it now, with Bush the Wonderful now in power for four years? Or how come you can't even get that Zarqawi guy who is actually in a country you claim to control? Really.. Because now we don't know where Osama is whereas in the Clinton administration we knew exactly where he was and our resolve was to send a cruise missile as a early christmas present to him....Which unfourtunatly for the US public and the sep. 11 victims didn't work out the way they wanted to.

since when does stopping known terrorists from bombing another US Destroyer in the middle east, or flying two fully-fueled jet airliners into two massive towers that dwarf New York city. And collapse after a catastophic event called war mongering? One way to have stoped sept. 11 would have been for Clinton to have had a firm resolve and wipe out Osama Bin Laden and the AQ terrorist network. Or maybe he was too busy with his head up Monica's skirt. (no pun intended)

Thats why i said earlier....its that kind of American attitude that leads to people flying planes into tall buildings. If all Americans could understand or could be bothered to understand other cultures the way Akira does you wouldnt have had a 9/11. We wouldn't have had 9/11 if Clinton wasn't such a pushover and instead of firing a cruise missile at AQ camps, send in the Deltas and US SOC to vanquish any such meetings from taking place, and having any such people and such groups.

and I consider your squabble of how americans are war mongering savages even more ammusing and persuasive to those such people you mentioned..... It proves just how split up America truly is in terms of political and moral ideals.

I'm sorry. I thought the flag in my avatar was the US flag. I also thought we were in a US politics thread. And just exactly is that supposed to mean? If you want to see a prime example of war mongering look at WW2, look at WW1, and look at the Civil war.....I do not accept having my country and my flag tarnished with your words of "wisdom" that our country is filled with war mongering Americans that risked their lives to establish a government and free the oppressed.

I find that less than amusing. Especially considering my stance on the subject. Should double check what people believe or where they stand before whip out some standard war-mongering American answer. Why a war mongering American? Why not just say war monger? EDIT: That offends me, you honestly haven't seen what war mongering is if you think Iraq and Afghanistan is an example.

I will tell you how Bush has made this country more safe, first of all in relation toward Iraq. What Bush did in Iraq was take Saddam out of power and while US troops were occupying the nation terrorist and insurgent forces attacked those US troops through any means possible. Now the way I see it is that by creating such an environment in Iraq, the US is fighting the terrorists in Iraq and Afghanistan rather than fighting them on US soil through the use of the FBI and criminal investigations. Which would take much more time and would be very difficult to apprehend the terrorists. And once apprehended they could be set free, through the lack of evedence and loopholes with-in the US judicial system. But all of that has been avoided by a formal declaration of war and the terrorists being listed as combatants.

And now i'm in college studying civil engineering. And I don't think that the opinions and biased views of the European public is a deciding factor in my nation's foreign policy and I trust that this thread will lead to flamebaiting.

Al Quaeda attacked the US when you invaded no one, not Iraq, not Afghanistan. 9/11 showed what can happen when you least expect it, now security has been tightened.
