Maybe some people just like aircraft carriers and what they can offer the players :) Even if the islands might seem to small for it to be realistic.. If people would have thought what would suit the original ofp islands and whay would have been the most realistic addons, Im sure we wouldn't have seen even half the amount of mods made for it. So what Arma's not made as a uber naval flight sim but you shouldn't saw down peoples dreams and ideas cause of that, Imo the rough shapes for almost any kind of mod is in the Arma engine even with its limits of not making a to large object cause the engine can't handle it. :) Aircraft carriers where made for both ofp and Arma 1 as addons, some even had catapults and hooks and samsites. none where drivable and had some geometry bugs in the edges where aircraft could fall through the deck. But as a mission makes you accepted the bugs and worked within the limits. :) Putting out graphics that is supposed to get into a real time engine has its quirks and limitations or rules if you want to. Some are rock solid others are more like quidelines to quote Jack sparrow :D

It looks gorgeous! :) Im actually started to work on one of my own but Im gonna do mine in the style of the GDI faction from C&C 1 aka tiberian dawn for the american folks :) Btw Delta Hawk you seem to know stuff about these, is it possible to put weapons on these like Mg's or samsite or cannons? Or would they sink from the weight or crumble from the recoils ect?

one of the coolest mp modes since coop was introduced to the larger crowds that didn't visit mod sites was in one of the A1 patches :) I hope Bis has more cool stuff up their sleeves in patches :) I heard Cti concept really made a impression on Bis and I hope more contents and stuff will flow out in patches like new missions and vehicles and gear :)

I hope Bis gets happy by the great Sales, maybe even Arma 2 will outsell the original flashpoint?

Oh man Worms is awesome! :D I owned it on both Sega 16 bit and Playstation 1 and Pc :D It was sweet until the 3d version wich was intresting concept but it would have needed much more love put into it both graphics and control wise :p

Lol I wouldn't be suprised if they would do that... I mean almost all the old school politician parties in Sweden voted yes to scan all internet traffic that passes through swedish borders... to be able to wiretap criminals and terrorists, yeah right..its total BS cause they gonna just sell the intel to anyone that wanna buy it.

command & conquer 1 story, gameplay, music, sounds, the epic saga of Command & conquer starts to unfold and a short insight into the mysterious Nod faction and GdI's struggle to defend the world against Nod and the fight to either release or contain the toxic alien crystall tiberium Ofp story, gameplay, mp, editor Half-life story, gameplay even though some pussles made me scream :D mods like day of defeat, and firearms mod and sven co-op & counter-strike pre 1.3 before they removed the funny maps and removed vehicles. Worms gameplay, mp red alert, same as c&c 1, story ect. Team fortress 2 old school mp teamdeathmatch mp revived. Ace combat 2 one of the best flight games I played, it may be to arcadey to some of the people on these boards but it was a great game and had tons of cool aircrafts and a very well balanced campaign. Desert strike a old school chopper 3rd person game, was made for both Pc and consoles like sega 16 bit and super nintendo :D One of the first games I played where things like refueling and rearming and repairing your vehicle made you think twice before you went head to head with the enemies. Civilization 4 pretty awesome game that takes the old games and refines them even more and adds better graphics and more features. civ is one of the most challenging games I played, took me 3 weeks of playing almost until I figured out how to win a game against the computer :D Transport tycoon so simple yet so difficult game and sometimes very addictive as civ and Ofp/arma.

Cool that Mapfact made the step into Arma 2 :) Any chance you will convert some of the awesome editor addons and island objects from ofp res into Arma 2? :) Like mapfact military objects pack and barracks addon ect?

I play huge pvp battles the most in Arma 1 atm since Im not home atm so it just some random internet play :P If I was home with my friends It would have been more coop but still some huge pvp battles from time to time :) The Xr server for Arma 1 rulez. Hope their Arma 2 server rules too! :) Btw poll should have had a option with both.

I would buy the zippo even though i don't smoke :D T-shirts with Placebo quotes would be awesome too :)

Swedish online game site fragzone has put out a review of Arma 2 http://www.fz.se/artiklar/20090702/arma-2/ The score is 3/5 and reviewer is a old school Arma Ofp veteran.

@Master gamawa Warefare is a continued development of the much popuar mfcti mod from Ofp wich I remember was very popular and continued to be in Arma 1 as Warefare and its different modified variants :) I've read somewhere even Bohemia liked it so much the whole office played it :D Sure it might not be everyone's piece of cake but Imo Bohemia is all about not being mainstream :) Of course capture the island or warefare is much more fun in multiplayer than sp but its a bit of a different type of gameplay, in multiplayer you can choose to be just a soldier doing the fighting or drive supply trucks or be a commander and take care of the base.

Cool movie even though I wanted to know more about the transformers and see the effects on the world when the transformers made themselves public :)

Would be cool to have the sales numbers to tell friends so we can brag about how awesome arma 2 sold :D

haha lol ;D Imo classic scary game for me when I was younger was resident evil 2 on playstation 1 where the zombie dogs jump through the windows suddenly in that empty hallway...

You need some sort of support truck like a ammo truck, its like a car but bigger and you need to have it parked 5'ish meters from the chopper and sit in the choppers pilot seat and it should rearm itself in time, note that repairing and refueling is a bit faster process than rearming the ammo of your chopper. Thats how I belive it works if they haven't change it since Arma 1 :)

awesome :) Nice LCAC NZXSHADOWS! :) LCACS would be awesome to use a alternative way of transport, and cool to have in reinforcement drops in Warefare for an example :D Sure as hell looks more realistic with tanks being dropped off by one of these than a blackhawk :D

What??? Thought Bohemias admins where the first to have tried Arma 2 :D Anyways you't can please everybody, I guess they didn't have the time to make it bigger or the campaign designers had a vision that was all the mission included in the campaign, besides the campaign seems really awesome and one of the parts that make me really excited about Arma 2 its still the editor and the random Mp games once or thrice a week that are the big candy for me :) And the community is also intresting. Just hope I can become more active in the whole giving department in the future :) with publishing more of my user created missions and stuff than working on them forever and they never get somewhere outside me and my lan gaming friends :p
