It usually does...

Speaking of B52s, they do have a good bit of black exhaust. And no they don't have any defensive weapons except for the pilot's 9mm.
-
I'll still be driving a '72 VW Beetle which lacks even a radio.
-
Ahh... Gundam Wing...
Any mobile suit has superior maneuverabilty to any armored vehicle currently in stock. Its more adaptable.(Hands are a good thing) Its probably faster too.

You could just wait for a few seconds while not shooting or using the action menu, and the hud goes away.

Halo's MJOLNIR Armor seems to be comming closer every day...

Quote[/b] ]On 21may66, i had the occassion to bump into a large number of NVA at very close range- 3- 15 yards. I shot one mortarman 6 times with my M14 at less then 10', all rounds in the chest. He emptied a magazine from his K50 at me without effect, and i shot him twice. He went down and i shot another guy, 2X in the chest and he went right down. The mortarman retrieved his K50 and started to get up, and i shot him 2x more to the chest. he went down and i shot another guy in the brain housing group- immediately effective. And the mortarman got up again. I fired two more into his chest, he went down again. I shot another guy in the side and he went down, and my first contact got up again- slowly, but probably very upset. I threw a frag on him and that ended the life of a very tough and motivated soldier.â€Bull.
If you were hit in the chest six times, you wouldn't have a chest(Exageration) or there wouldn't be anything in your chest cavity. Six rounds to the chest would have probably put holes in every vital organ that resides in the chest.
K50? Never heard of it. Ever.

One things for sure, you'll almost never hear an account of any rifleman from WW2 having to shoot twice unless he missed the first shot.

I would like to see realistic ballistics and damage rankings on small arms. The AK-47 is too powerfull and does not drop enought at range. Â The 7.62x39 hadd mediocre wounding effects due to ist stable and non-fragmentary projectile.
The FAL and G3 are too weak. Â 7.62 NATO weapons (nad the ballistically similar SVD Dragunov) should have good stopping stats over a great range.
The M-16(and all other 5.56 weapons) should have very good stopping power at close range and progressively worse beyond 200m
Same for the AK-74 Â The small caliber bullets can produce very nasty wounds due to the rapid instability of the 7N6 5.45 rounds and the fragmentary nature of most 5.56 ammo.
Short barreled weapons such as the XM177 and AKS-74U should take a ~%20 performance hit in stopping power and in bullet drop.
I have considerable knowledge in the ballistic and terminal effects of modern military weapons and would happily share that info with any interested modelers.
Thats what I said. Mostly.
The only contact I have had with 5.45x39mm ammo, showed me that it was a JHP round. If it weren't for the JHP, I can't see it doing much as it was so small, I laughed.

-
I still say the dammage of large caliber weapons like like the G3 needs to be increased a little.
-
I have some strange problems... I'll get pics...
-
Someone should make a good list of questions to ask...
-
The Blackhawks are great. The JAM weapon sounds are great.
However, I feel that the 7.62x51mm rounds used by the G3 and others, should be more powerful.
-
Mirrors should be set up BEFORE the release, or at least provide a bittorrent alternative, 30KB/s is kinda slow.
Try 2.5 to 2.7kbs.

Got to make a comment on the 1911 jamming debate.Quote[/b] ]A genuine M1911A1 is a genuine jam-o-matic ÂQuote[/b] ]M1911A1 jam?Bah, not with standard issue ball ammo...
The colt 1911A1 is the second most reliable sidearm in the world.(The glock is first, but thats a piece of "Made in Taiwan" plastic junk). I have my very own colt 1911 and i haven't had a jam in over 500 rounds (And many of them had i made myself).
I believe it took 3000 or 30000 rounds without malfuntions.

AKS74U
Although its actually an Assault rifle, its used like an SMG. Might as well be an SMG.
Quote[/b] ]Rounds are NOT drastically affected in killing power by different weaponsTake an M2 Browning and fire one shot at a BMP. Then take an M82A1 Barret and do the same. There will very likely be a difference in the dammage done.
Theres also the M16A1. Rounds fired from it weren't exactly "stable" and could cause more dammage than the much more stable M16A2.

I believe that the terrain being unlimmited, means you can make a map as big as you want/need. I'm fairly certain the "end of the map" would be the same as OFP1.
Couple it with streaming terrain, and you could have a whole country I guess.

Quote[/b] ]The basic data like damage, and base accuracy would be stored in the ammuntion file. This will allow all weapons to use 1 single point of reference for ammunition, so addon makers can easily create weapons of a certain caliber and have it in with existing weapons.Alot of the time, the weapon has alot to do with the dammage done. An example would be Ak47s and Submachine guns of the same caliber, or MMGs using cartridges like 7.62x51mm and 7.62x54R would probably do less dammage than sniper rifles of the same caliber.
Since were on the subject(Sort of), it would be nice to have the range your shooting at make a difference on the dammage.
-
I think they said in an interview, that there would be no real limit on map size...
-
Judging from the zie of my ammo pouch it would be four max for 30rd M16 Mags.
-
I don't believe a human being has enough places for thirty pouches.
Quote[/b] ]MAKAROV PM 9.5mm AUTOMATIC PISTOLI belive its a 9x18mm round. Not 9.5mm.
And PLEASE give the M14 its proper dammage abilities. I've seen M14s in games that had the dammage capabilities of an M1 Carbine.
-
The "nuke cannon" was a howitzer loaded with a shell that had a tactical nuclear warhead. I don't believe it was cancelled. Its just an ammuniton type that would be fairly useless since are forces are usually inside its blast radius.

Well, I think a lot of times people use rar for 56kers, but personally, it's a high-speed world, don't fall behind.1. I have a 56k, I prefer zip.
2. Not everyone can afford $50 a month for DSL, and not everyone lives where broadband is available.

Its missing a light green band that sits right above the "curve" at the bottom.
And I don't think anyone ever used chin straps for the old M1s.
Call of duty demo out!

Fileplanet doesn't cost anything, unless you don't want ads and don't want to wait.
I only had to wait three minutes which is odd compared to the forty I used to end up with...
