Exactly, I didnt read one thing on here that hinted of an argument at all, there's just a difference in quality, craftmanship and preferences and the choice of the community, its not who's is better so I dont know where you got that from Swhing, lol,, unless of course, you're Novusordo, I don't know about him, Goeth seems a little agittated also.
  4. Well its a nice clear sound, but it sounds as if it was fired underneath a yawning or over hang.
  5. Hehehe, yeah, true that Predator, or maybe a sound that screams "GaaaAAannggwayyyeeee!!!" Yeah, usually there is a swhishng noise, Well as far as quality wise in a mod, to me, becuase I have a certaiin idea on the sounds, I am trying to aim at the "natural" sound, if the sounds are so cleaned up then they start to sound too mechanical, you know what I'm saying. I'll still work with ya Pred, but you might want to be carecull not to miss match your sound fx. You kinda want them to have the same solid ness you have with all the weapons. For some reason I sense a competition thing with FDF, I thnk a few of their members left some uncalled for comments on my preview, and Goeth hasnt been too frendly either, but oh well, no skin off my nose.

Awesome Ghost, just remmeber, from the looks of some explosions I've seen on video clips, most seem to disperse outward, not upwards, unless it was a 500lb bomb or very big explosion and alot do not have streams of smoke that bellow out like party streamers, and if you guys can create some debri effects, like shrapnel hitting the ground , as if using the bullet hitting the ground effect, I will be very excited This game will be competing with Call of Duty 4 when it comes out, but I'm still going to be a die hard OFP/ArmA fan non the less. But I have faith

Thanks for your support all, i will probably need beta testers in a bit, I'm having trouble trying to find anyone who will help me with the config file to make it more of a stand alone mod instead of an over writting one, I'm working with Predator, at least I think thats whats going on, but it seems he wants to stick to his sound ideas which is cool, but maybe if there is someone else who might know a litle something about the sound config file we can team up.

  9. If there is a way to be able to speed up the dispersion of smoke, then that's going to be my next project after i finish my sound mod. I know exactly what I want and what needs to be done.....i think Here's a good example: Impact example of smoke dispersion
  10. I thought so too, but I wonder, if it would be made, I'm sure it would be a popular aspect. I'm sorry but there is nothing real about an AT rocket traveling at the same speed as a bottle rocket fire cracker. So far, so far, the only game that has this close to real thing is Delta Forces Black Hawk Down, and even that game is a joke....well , it is fun i have to admit though.

  12. yes, the whoosh sound is the echo wash from the report, recorded during the late afternoon ,evening with a few hills. there are times you might hear this due to the traveling of the bullet also.

LOL, thanks Snake, Well, we don't want to bust anyones balls here or bag on anyones hard work, we're all good sports about things, adults,, but i do have to say, FDF mod is good in some aspects depending on the likings of people, some have their personal preferences. When I started checking out FDF's sound mod, plus their OFP total conversion mod I heard alot of my sound tid bits in there but not one credit or thanks, but then again I posted my sound mod so I guess it was fair game. But its all good. The M107, I do have several 50cal sniper waves for it but it uses a sound bite some place in the addons where i just cant find. But I'm searching, I will post one soon to get everyone's opinion. Again thanks for everyones support me and for other developers work .

Thanks dudes, rock on, yeah, I'm currently checking out the config file using FDF's config , since THEY DID use alot of sounds I made that were for my Operation Flashpoint sound replacement, so no one should get butt hurt, Â I just havnt heard of any credit givin to me for some of the sounds that were created by me but oh well, its not like I'm going to cry over it...anyways, yeah guys, thanks for the 2 cents, makes it easier to make a choice which smaples I will use.

    Ican do that, BUT, there are hundreds, if not , thousands of voices to cover and change. I know, I can't stand the robot voices, I think OFP voices are just more natural. ArmA's sound like the dude keeps burping in btween words,.

    That RPG will have to go, unless, thats what's to your liking . I love the Shilka Fire though. I think I can see what sound you are aiming at. The thing with the M16 or M4 sound is that hollowness, I guess when you amplified the volume it increased that "bark" sound in it. That A10 is right on, nice job. The 20mm cannon for the Cobra should be slower, BUT in order for it to match up with the other weapon it sounds fine the way it is. The 5.56 silencer is right on, the AK sound is great also, the Dshk or KORD, should sound like the M2, but a slight difference.

    Hahahha, I had to comment on that; 3) Shouldnt it be Ghost Recon AI. " Cover fire " I'll cover fire but I will stroll in front of your line of fire and reposition myself out in the open simulating a sitting duck. *screams of pain followed by "Murphy Murphy!" or "We're taking casualties". Have you heard of taking cover?!

    yeah the m4silenced does sound weird, that sound you hear is the bullet with that supersonic type, since its annoying I will do away with it, I threw it in there just to get some opinions on it, I heard a couple off of someones sound thingy that sounded better.

    Welll, like and Pred had explained earlier, the echo depends on the enviourment you are in. If you are oout in the open, bright and sunny day, there is hardly any echo (do not know why the time of day has to do with echo but it does) usually foggy days you hardly any, its always early morning and late afternoon or dusk you hear alot of echo. Even in open feild you hear some echo, but if there are reflective surfaces you will diffenetly hear some. The echo i have was taken where there was some reflective surfaces, a few buildings and hills.
  24. Amen guys, I should have one out hopefully by this weekend, and with Predator, should have it cleaned up soon as well. I am making a city type one also for those who want to play any CTF's in the city or such, sorta an experiment. Like I siad though, I'm a Mr. Mom here so barely enough time to really focus on alot.
  25. Well I was able to find the M82, thanks a bunch guys. Well, I am not sure about teh rest but then where's the 12.7 mm Russian sniper rifle, the M82 of the Russian rifles? I've been trying to look for that as well. thanks again
