Heh heh, right on bro, and great work you are doing, I'll be happy with just some dust kicking up on rifles themselves and thats it, along with AT back blast. Â Hopefully you will tweak out that AT impact efect. That flash is much to slow, it should at least be a quick one like the grenade and smoke and dust just sorta linger there for a litle or move away with breeze, but other than that, I'm not complaining. Keep up the good work.

Hey Madmat, very very nice work done ! Now if I might add, I wanetd to suggest maybe, I noticed the AT impact explosions are great but I shouldnt the flash be a bit more quicker? And the smoke dissapate just like the grenade smoke?

Yes it will be released. I've been checking forums lately for more feedback, like I said, i only get a few hours a day and sometimes at night to work on this. So far I have a majority of it done, I'm just making sure the sound is just so for all rifles. Slowly but surely. Thanks for the patience guys.

LMAO! Yeah, I just noticed that  lol. Well, definitly that will be taken out...um... I threw it in there to see who would spot it first and win a prize! No seriously  lol. Yes, all has been changed so far; veh, air, some voices and the annoying bleeps in the cockpit warning and radio bleep, even some combat jingle. Added GBU explosions so you wont hear the AT Impact sound when you drop a bomb, added bullet cracks, I'm still trying to figure out how we can implement the combat ambience. Its easy in OFP Â

I say we just Boycott ArmA2 when it comes out, it's probably going to be another sham as ArmA1, since the creators for ArmA havent really done much to fix and enhance some already adressed bugs and annoyances in ArmA1. We should just make due with what we have in ArmA and wait for OFP2 to come out. Unless ArmA2 is just an addon for 10 to 20 dollars, I'm not going to buy something for 50 that probably promises the same problems as ArmA1.

nope, this parting with Even will not affect the work in progress as we speak. Its awkward at the same time becuase we're both in the same ArmA/OFP clan/squad lol. But who knows, I wish the best of luck also with Even as he was responsible for getting this mod some attention and a push in the right direction, I'm sure his upcoming mods will be a great contribution to the OFP community. *S*

LOL , awesome and thanks. Yeah, well, the thing I was trying to capture is not so much the sound when in side the heli but also out side, a sound in between being heard from a distance and inside or near. What do u think of this clip? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v....search= Sorta the same as I am doing for the weapons, near and far. Gafffa, yeah, I have addressed that to Durg about it and it should be fixed though, itried it with the 2nd Beta part and the 203 works fine.

I checked that one out and what it sounds like is as if it a regular heli sound sped up a little too fast , though, tis very close to the AH6. NoRailGunner has that one vid and which is a bit more to the T. Thanks though for the offer, I really appreciate it. You know what, if you'd like we can include it with another one of the sound bites, since there is like 5 different AH6 sound bites that the game uses.

The grenade effects in those pics seem too big. And the explosions effects, if they go up much quicker than the games stock explosions then it would be one hell of a plus, BUT, on the other hand if they still go up like water fountains speed then , you might want to adjust that.

For surezee bro, thats what im in the process of doing at the moment, making sure alls done, there are literaly hundreds of sound effects to check, and most arent all teh same, I want to make sure all sounds as for weapons , coincide with each other, each one will have a different echo and beefiness.

Hi all Here's a question I have wondered for some time.....Can and will teh velocity and ballistics on the RPG and AT Rocket projectiles be fixed to realistic? I think a bottle rocket flys faster than them.

Thats the whole idea, because I leave in most of the natural sound it is more real, I take out alot of noise though, i don't over process the sounds. I wish I could use Rainbow SIx's Vegas or Ghost Recons, but they have been recorded in padded rooms and echo effect added via an effects processing unit, not to mention plagerism, not only that, then i cant say i made my own custom sound effects. When I go out to the range or when I've been out there during any live fire events, I base everything on what I have heard out there and compare it to stuff I have found on the net. I then will clean up the sound. Most sound effects you hear from other games are usually recorded then exagerated to meet arcade or hollywood quality, it atracts more customers  But yeah, its all preferentual -
Isnt there a download mirror that doesnt offer porn sites pop ups? that might be detrimental to your computer?

Huh? Can you explain please? Thanks I think what you mean Xenadence as in refinement, if you compare them to FDF then I see what you might mean. Theirs are more arcade like or more of something from a more exagerated style. Mine arent but yes, mine arent totally done just yet, they still have to be cleaned up as my Beta is more of a test. -

Yeah, thats been noted and I think fixed, though, I havent had that problem yet on my end,hmm, I will speak to Durg about it. As I speak the next Beta should be done soon, slowly but surely, its getting there and weapons volumes have been raised. I really want to get this done pronto as I want to begin building making and such, but I cannot rush though, its all the testing and finding sources is the real time consumer(not to mention real life).
