Just wondering what the hit points are on a CSAT Tempest Fuel truck are? I want it to blow when the fuel tanks is hit a few times. Cheers GC -

'HitFuel' doesn't work either. Once again, BIS broke something with a patch. Cheers GC -

Looks like "HitBody" no longer works since latest patch. Will try "HitFuel" later. Cheers GC -

got it working, Put this in the trigger activation, then you can either setdamage or create a bomb at the pos of the truck. truck1 getHitPointDamage "HitBody" > 0.01 Cheers GC -

Looks like its something to do with "HitBody" not hit "HitFuel". The damage of the fuel is always 0, but body seems to take a reading from a bullet hit. Will continue testing tomorrow. Cheers GC -

This didn't work either. Just kept saying null. Even when I just tried _this (without the select x) the string that came back didn't mention the hitpart, just who shot it and with what ammo and the path of the material it shot. Cheers GC -

Doesn't seem to work with "fuel" at least. Any ideas what the section would be for a tempest Fuel Support Truck rear fuel tank? Cheers GC -

How do I turn off the NV on the Night Stalker scope. I have tried the 'N' key. When I respawn as my ai teammate, the scope nv is off but the soldiers nv is on. I have also tried the optics button as well. Cheers GC

This is my new COOP mission. Operation Maxwell Download Here Two US NATO teams make an assault on an CSAT camp, to destroy a cache of PETN before it gets into terrorist hands. It needs 2 human player as group leader, and as many as you can get in the team. See readme for known probs, and issues. I am releasing this as v1.00, but i would say that if you find any probs or bugs let me know. It has been in beta test for a long time and had a few static object errors after updates. But i think they dont change now. But on the final beta test everything worked fine. Anyway enjoy! I was wondering if anyone knew the hitpoint I would need to kill the headlights on the ZSU? I have looked through the config viewer, and there isn't a hitpoint listed, but you can shoot them out. Cheers GC

Has this simple thing (ofp, arma, arma2, arma2 OA) been sorted yet in Arma 3? I want ai to paradrop from a helo. I have tried adding parachutes to the ai and it still didn't work. I have all the eject scripts used in all other games with no probs. Now in one of the campaign vids, I noticed a para drop. Was wondering if anyone has de-pbo'ed it or could point me to the mission so I can extract it and have a look. Cheers GC

Doesn't work on these dam things. I only have a gunner in the ZSU, so even setting the unit to danger doesn't work. Bis: Why hasn't the ZSU got a hit point on the light? Cheers GC

Since 1.12 the you can use the old school eject script with a helo full of Para Troopers. Cheers GC

No, it didn't work. I thing the 'dammaged' event handler is an old one. I did have a hint system that used the hitpart, but didn't get a value when shooting the headlights. Also I only have gunner in and the units are on danger. Cheers GC

I have added some notes, but I always get a Briefing option in the list on the left, under Tasks. So I changed one of my notes to be titled 'Briefing' and it just added a new note further down called Briefing. Anybody know how to get rid of the default one, or use this script to add notes under the built in Breifing option. Cheers GC

FFS. Does anyone have an example mission where these bloody things will work with a dedicated server. I changed the init file back to use the precompile command (as in the sample mission) and now I don't get any tasks, but when I used the init file from one of my arma2 missions I got tasks at the start but not after jip or respawn. If the dev hasn't got time to test in arma3, does anyone know a task system that will work for JIP and respawn? You would think BIS could have sorted this out. The servers can remember who has what gun, where players are, and public vars. You would thing they could turn the tasks in to something remembered by the server, that clients would query on join or respawn. *** Edit *** I have found FHQ TaskTracker which works a treat for Jip and respawn on a dedicated server. If you try it, make sure you use the thread on the forums, as the examples in the script have a few typos, so a straight copy n paste wont work. Taking nothing away from Taskmaster though, but it doesn't seem as good as it was for arma2. *********** Cheers GC

Thanks mate, will give it a try for the task updates. I still add the tasks through the init file. I use the team respawn btw, incase that makes a difference on a dedicated server. I get the tasks as expected in the briefing but the task1 doubled up (both had green tick after the task set to complete) after respawn and no task2. My mate (other team leader) didn't have any after respawn. But the notes are always visible and not doubled up. I used taskmaster in arma 2 OA on a dedicated server with the same respawn settings and didn't have an issue. I have checked my old missions and they don't to anything that I don't do in the Arma3 mission. Is there anything on a respawn event handler I should be looking at. Cheers GC
