For those people who see the M60 model/sound when selecting the M249 Soldier.... Try deleting any other AddOn items from the OFP Taiwan Workshop and see if it works correctly. That worked for me.

Very nice work......... The weapon models are excellent and the sounds effects even better. You should change the subject heading to New Weapons including the M249.........people will go nuts over it. However, I have a problem: the muzzle flash is always visible. It never disappears. Its even visible on soldiers carrying rifles on their backs. Sometimes if I pick up a dropped weapon it disappears, but ordinarily its always there..just a white flash hanging off the weapon. Very distracting. It is something wrong on my end, or is it a bug?
