ThePara, the two pictures of soldiers only show the flag on the left arm. The flag is not reversed; it just happens to have the blue field towards the front.
hyakushiki, excellent addon, just one minor suggestion: an altered model for the machinegun soldiers with larger ammunition pouches.

Yeah I had trouble with getting .tga's working in the GIMP, when you save it as .tga for the first time, try unchecking RLE compression, but leave the other option (forgot what it is) checked. It worked for me, but there may have been other things I did differently.

I remember seeing some pictures a while back in an interview of a partially completed RSOV, just wondering what its status is, has it been put on hold?

Will the AI soldier with RPG be able to target and fire on helicopters? If not, does anyone know where I can get enemy troops who do?SEB Nam Pack II
There is an RPG-2 (I think) in the pack that is treated as an anti-aircraft weapon, so the AI will fire it at choppers as well as vehicles.
And I agree that would be a nice thing to have for this pack as well. It would be great if it could be scripted so the AI doesn't bother engaging a helicopter if it is moving over a certain speed. Otherwise, they will continue thinking they are using a homing missile and waste their rockets.

Okay, but the main difference here is that you are paying the restaurant for a quality meal and you are paying the contractors for the extension. The BAS team does this at no cost to us.

EDIT: Well, you could not have two miniguns operating independantly, so perhaps only one minigun is mounted in the side, both are mounted but are locked facing forward, or this version isn't exactly in there.

Now the new versions have been done for a long time, waiting for weapons/jam/etc.... about 3-4 months or so.Landwarrior, I think that means that they are done, but have been waiting for JAM for three or four months.

There is a little-known addon which is just Konyak's Antonov, but with animated ramp and gear, updated by Hawk. There was a link posted a while ago, I don't know where it is...

I only found two bugs, which aren't even a big deal... First, the feet of the passenger go through the floor. Second, does the horn work?
Aside from those two tiny, tiny things, this addon is downright professionally-made and fun.

I saw some pictures of the updated Delta/Ranger pack in the Combat Photography thread... beautiful.

Would it be possible to use whatever method you are using to randomize/customize the packs on the Desert vehicles to allow for different pouches and bags attached to each soldier? Just a thought, don't know if it's do-able or even worthwhile.

It's great how you aren't even doing anything particularly special in that last picture, but it still looks so dramatic.

There is NO suspension features and there is NOT a crash model for each version. We DONT have a dashboard fan and there are NO plans for fluffy dice.I was almost disappointed that there are no suspension features, but then after looking at a couple pictures, I see that the wheels really don't move that much anyway, so while it would be nice eyecandy, I guess it would not be worth it for the couple of inches of movement.
But no dashboard fan?

also when we download the pack who will actually be driving the units, normal bis units or rangers or something special?They mentioned in the news post on the main site these will be included:

The driver unit appears to be their desert Ranger without some of the pouches and stuff.

This should be a very useful addon, whether it is by BBE or BAS.
My suggestions:
Nice smoke effects when firing.
Somehow control the AI from doing stupid things, like firing off all four missiles at a single distant chopper (because the first missile did not get there yet, so it thinks it missed)
If you could somehow give it an extended range through scripts, I'm not sure how that works, because as of now, if I am not mistaken, the air unit would have to be rather close for it to be targetted.
Oh, by the way, I love your BBE Real Element mod. I use it over the default player models all the time in SWAT3.

hey this just popped in my head, weve only seen pics of the Desert Hummers.. im not asking for any screenshots of any woodland ones but are there some even planned since their are woodland Rangers?I'm fairly sure this would be covered in the news release they plan for the weekend--it's a question several of us have.

I'm not too good at using Oxygen, but would it be possible to edit the sunglass model and texture on the units so if the player has opted to wear sunglasses, for example, they will appear as a more modern pair if he plays as one of your units? Or can this not be changed?

Wow, it's been a while since I posted last.
Anyway, I'm making a hunting multiplayer mission where a team of well-equipped operatives have to hunt down a single player in Nogavo, who has to escape to one of many escape zones, obtaining weapons on his way to fend off the hunters.
Anyway, it is very hard to spot a single man on the entire island, so I need to give the hunting team hints to his location. Ideally, I want to give the hunting team a hint every time a civilian spots the hunted player. I have the code for actually saying the clue, I need help making a script that triggers the clue when a civilian sees the player. The hunted unit is named Duo.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
