i've heard people talking about it all over the forum and i was wondering what it means or what it is.

yeah that really pisses me off. its not like 1 loner in the forest is in radio contact all the time. it is also understandable if you kill a guy and a tank comes looking for him since if he hasn't reported in then you should go to his last known position. but i find it really strange that the enemy troops adn tanks can still find you even if you hide the body and are 1000m away so thats very wierd. you know what else is wierd. your sqaud mates come back to life! i had this guy in my squad called Jim Self adn he was there every mission even though he died the mission before. thats scary.

i would like an Xbox but i would rather have a computer though. Â much more versitile. i think the Xbox is the next best thing to a computer. if nto a new computer then i would choose an Xbox (Edited by Carl at 7:11 am on Nov. 29, 2001)

that BRDM would go nicely with a swat team with unsilenced hk's. that would be cool if you could make a mission where your a cop and have to bust some resistence terrorists with RPG's and other weapons. that wuld be sweet...

OFP is the best game i have ever played and the A.I is pretty advanced adn i really have no problem with it but theres one thing i find really nagging. this usually happens in black op missions where you have to be stealthy. this si something i can live with but i just find it wierd. theres a lone ruskie guy patroling the base and no one is around in total darkness so i shoot him and he dies and i even hide the body. but for some reason everyone on teh map gets alerted and alot of the tanks your supposed to blow up move away. thats wierd in my opinion, they're telepathic...... although the A.I is very good they are very stupid too my funniest experience was in the capture the docs mission. i sniped all teh guards and killed the tank crews with all teh lights on and they didn't see me!!! its like they have no eyes but magically know your there if a loner gets shot and killed 1000m away.

actually i think you can find out what grid you are in in veteran mode. i do believe there is a little device thing behind teh note book (on the map screen). it displays your grid location. although you do have to move the notebook to see it.

since winter kolgujev is such a hit why not make winter Everon? or winter Malden? and maybe even a full winter camo unit pack. it would be really neat if everything was in a winer setting.

also if you get tangled in the parachute when you're in the water, your screwed.

i just killed a hind in one of those missions by telling my gunner to shoot it down witht eh 30mm cannon

intersting ways. i was stuck on that mission for a very long time but i got tired and just cheated. by ending the mission with a code. BAD CARL!!!!
