Your forgetting 2 major key factors: 1.) When shooting you hold breath after the exhale finishes and not on the inhale, therefore you don't get the crazed sway when returning to breathing. Generally a trained military shooter can and will shoot in every breathing state know to mankind and does so effectively, its part of basic training and you wont pass unless you can drop targets. 2.) Bullets travel roughly around 700/900 meters per second taking into consideration round size and atmospheric conditions, your 8 seconds mean nothing. In short the hold hold breath feature is flawed at point 1. -

@DNA Is there going to be some work put into what happens visually when players/ai receive damage? As it stands practically nothing happens apart from rag doll trying to initiate for a fraction of a second then deactivating.

You read my mind man, after being annoyed by this since ofp, now at arma 3 and this bug (as far as im concerned) is still here, just outright irritates me. On the subject of DLC, at this stage, pushing out DLC without giving the community the fixes and changes we've been crying out for for many years, some of which are left over from OFP days or at very least some honest open dialog with those that care, means for me my hand goes nowhere near my pocket for bis again. -
Not true anymore, you couldn't access the vehicles with the kart DLC and bis have said it is the new approach, no more only low rez textures but still using content. Now you can look and be in the same game but no touch. Its a shame the throttle traverse bug is still there are all those reworks.

Check my signature for a few, "fired" Event Handler not broadcasting launchers is a big one, been hoping that would be fixed since Alpha.

I'd rather them put every effort into finishing the features that are already in game rather that create more features/content that will possibly be in the same state.

There's a thought danczer the action menu, didn't think of that one yeah. Also on the subject of the marksman/sniper dlc, personally i cant think of anything more unbalancing and destructing to online play than MORE long range weapons with such a small selection of close/mid range weapons, its the polar opposite of what the community want, i mean 4 factions all sharing 1 lmg and 1 gpmg so of course its logical what we need is more snipers :confused: What you guys think about that one? In fact what do you think in general about the dlc production?, do you like me, feel you'd rather have the game at a more completed state before you are willing to part with more of your cash? -

Whilst I absolutely agree with you on seeing a full damage system, that would require animations and we are already missing quite a few from game.

All of above :p Essentially every feature looks and behaves like its unfinished, yet the production of dlc keeps driving ahead. thb at the point in time it is no wonder that more than half of the arma community have left and either still play arma 2 or have moved to other games instead. -

Wow the jet disappears before it hits the floor, that is odd as heck, just after 12 seconds boom jet is gone then boom. As odd as it seems i think the video is not legit. When slowing down the video it vanishes. Sry for the off topic but had to say that.

I get a scope error when i sound mod the smoke grenades, only the base smoke "SmokeShell" throws the error. Wasn't there before last stable has the inheritance tree changed?

Has the throttle movement been looked at yet? all of the increase and decrease is mapped to the top 40% of the traverse. -

Prone is the most stable fire position, its the most comfortable too, was taking you seriously till you said that. -
Why not change everything to multiSoundHit, makes sense as half is and half isnt. Also that list of non-broadcasting weapons, the bug i reported back in alpha has grown exponentially since the net code streamlining. Which is very disappointing for my sound mod.

Some suggestions if I may, the close use shake/rumble, further away a single thud type effect is more realistic.
