Are you talking about the MGS4 PMCs? Whatever, you'll need to assign a BLUFOR leader to the group, and they are on the BLUFOR side, and if you don't want to him to be present, you set it's probability of presence to 0. But I'm positive it won't change the language they speaking. -

Not only that, but there are more of this randomized "default weapon select" mess around, in association with rifles with GL. when having a just rifle with GL, no fire mod is selected; when having a secondary weapon, it is selected by default, if handgrenade equipped, then that is the default weapon. -
Maybe because you have Panthera island, wich contains that PBO.

I don't know much about how an AK kicks in RL, but I'm satisfied with the recoils: AK-47 has the highest kick, AKMs have slightly less (because of the compensator and lower fire rate), AK-74s have even less. 7,62 Kalashnikovs are famous of their high recoil.

I think this is not the right place to discuss it out. They have their reasons, and we should just respect it. They made their decision, and I made mine. I'll add Vilas east weapons for the East units for my ACE missions, and I'll add RH's AK pack when I use just RH weapons. Sounds and looks of RH weapons just don't pass to ACE weapons in my view. -
ArmA 1 civilians are looking like drunken-weeded American university students on a vacation in Florida IMHO they were laughable back in ArmA, but they'd be good as tourists :D

Roger that, but I have 1 bandage, 1 epi and 1 morphine for the medic by default, yet I cannot heal anybody (don't know about other players, wasn't time to go on a server); however, AI medics seemingly do the "magic healing" (they heal more units in row), even I have the ACE Wound system module on the map. Just made a quick test for it. AI medic healed my teammate, used up the epi and the morph, bandage stayed. After more injuries sustained, he healed the second-third-fourth times nevertheless, not using up the bandage (can be used more times?) I know you'll going to sort this one out too, I just liked to tell to others too that it's not fully working yet. -

So after some testing...I used the ACE wound system only, none of the BIS ones. -AI medics do heal injured (conscious) infantry, whether or not in the same group, reaction is slower a bit of course; with or without Support WP in the editor; -I can order my AI medic to any friendly injured (conscious) to heal; -for some reason if I play as medic, I cannot heal AI units; -unconscious AI is not recognized by AI medics, therefore they don't heal them (I assume same case with unconscious players); -in medic role I cannot heal or check status of the unconscious AI; -I cannot check the health status of any AI. Another things that I'm not sure is because of ACE, maybe BIS done it that way: -MASH and Ambulance vehicles cannot be used for healing, even when I add a support WP for an ambulance. However I find it realistic, and I think it should be kept, only the crew should include on or two medics with them, so we can use them as support. -MA -

Normal healing wasn't a big issue for me, it only seems to me that AI TLs don't send their wounded to different first-aid assets (Medics in other groups, MASH, Ambulances...), only when I gave a support WP for the medic. I'll try and make some more tests about it. -

I know that wounding system is still WIP, but I can't interact with heavily wounded (passed out) AI, I can't check them about their condition, AI medics don't heal them, I couldn't heal them when I'm the medic, and I can't check the dogtags on deads (altough some version's changelog wrote dogtags are added). I don't know if these are known, so I refrain from creating a ticket on dev-heaven until I get confirmation that nobody knows about it. -

I've just made a test mission, 21-21 man forces against each other, they were firing M136s/RPGs at each, they hit pretty close to each other, but only in a ~25-30m radius, so they didn't snipe each other out (and didn't take any enemy out either...) -
I was browsing the weapons in the box, when I got to AK-47 with GL I've got this message: "Cannot load texture edinys.paa" Anyway great work, they look absolutely superb.

@Cross Great news, big THANK YOU for Nat & dyneslott.com AND Whisper, I guess you've helped to keep a lot of ACE users at the mod :) @SilverBlue There are already a ton of modified ACOGs that have ironsights on top, even mini reddots are applied on some, but those are not issued for the average GI (rather SF units have acces to them), they can, however, buy it for themselves, but I don't think they'll spend 1200-1500$for an almost similar sight. Besides, I've read that ACOGs that lack that feature can be used quite well in CQC situations. -
Can something similar be made to airports on CAA islands? North Sahrani might have at least one paved airport.

@InstaGoat Altough I agree that a Russian-Chinese conflict is very unlikely (as much as an open conflict between the US and China/Russia), there were times when relations between the two countries went as "cold" as with the US (I know even some jokes about it). Example is when Stalin died and Hruschev took control of the USSR. Tensions were high between them until the mid 60s, and initially North Vietnam was backed only by China, the USSR was involved only much later because of it. And even Vietnam and China went to war against each other ( in the early 80s). And remember, Germany and the USSR had military and economic alliance too in the 30s. By this I only mean that sometimes signed papers are meaning only toilet paper. -

Well that definetly made my day better, thank you Sickboy!:) No, they are using M16s from the beginning by default, the reason I think is that only full-auto capable M4A1 is available in ArmA2 yet, wether most Army units are using the 3 round burst M4. I think they'll retain the M16s until M4s are available -
Maybe not. check the first post, it's saying CDF Su-24, on the pics Chernarussian flag is on the plane's nose. CDF is BLUFOR. as far as I know;)

Dear ACE team, the next comment will include an outrageous whining, not against You, but rather against other whiners who made you do what you did. I know it won't be changed back, because I think I'm in absolute minority with this opinion. Sorry, but I had to give it out. [whining] Give us back the the M4/M203/RCO made by Panda into the mod, and forget this shitty model from ArmA 1. Those complaining about "I can't go fight CQB with the ACOG" ,do a little practice, and make some compromises. Nobody whined for CQB sights for the OPFOR weapons or for G36 series (wich have it modelled default). [/whining] Sorry in advance from the ones I might insult with this, it's not personal, but you managed to degrade a very tiny feature in the mod. -
Funnily this plane will be on BLUFOR side :D Excellent, can't wait to fly it!

@AJsarge You can set the OPFOR friendly with BLUFOR only with a trigger in the editor, and set independent against everyone in the intel. WEST setFriend [EAST,1]; EAST setFriend [WEST,1]
