    Which action can't you use? Like described in the read me file the key control menue can be found in the top right corner of the game paused dialog (after hitting the escape button during a mission). This option is available only with the weapon pack because it uses modified ressources. I explained the reasons for not using the action menue in my first post on p 1.

    The diver already works without fwatch, too. When playing without fwatch you'll get a little hint, notifying you. You simply can't use all features. You've already got your simpler version without the animations. Â The main features remain untouched without fwatch, anyway. You still can: - Enter empty or friendly boats from the water - Capture hostile boats - Attach charges to boats - Sabotage the fuel tank of boats Please, please have a look at the read me, too. Took me a couple of hours to write that, don't let it be wasted time! Â But tell me, why don't you want to use fwatch? Don't you care about the above mentioned advantages?

    What's the disadvantage of fwatch in your opinion? You see, the diver comes with three extra actions. To choose the action you have to scroll up and down the action menue. Imagine using the diver with the weapon pack like i do. Then  you have two more options, making for a complete list of five: -animate divemask -hide / show equipment -close combat -fix silencer -order: fix silencer Have fun scrolling up and down the action menue 'till your mouse wheel catches fire.... I prefer to simply hit a key on my keyboard. Much easier and waaayyy faster.   When using the weapon pack you can even customize you own individuell key settings. To me fwatch is just like black magic. Once you've gotten started with it you find a whole new world. It's just amazing. So i've tried to find a better solution for the action problem, rather doing it the mapfact way. It's almost like a mod with the exception that you can run every mod with it. Simply use the fwatch.exe instead of the OFP.exe - fwatch uses the OFP.exe itself. How to set up fwatch is explained in the weapon packs readme file. And if any questions occur we'ld be glad to help out here as well. Anyone tried the tech demo or the mp mission?

    Posting here is fine as well. The deactivate Mine action menue entry? I don't quite remember - is it even without ECP? And have you multiplayer tested the thing? Let's see what Mapfact says but when everything's fine i'll go and do the read me file.

    Bugs: hopefully none?! But that's not too likely i'm afraid! Answered in the rucksack thread but have forgotten to mention that i included all weaponpack magazines. I'll sent raedor my latest version stante pede.

    Thanks for your interest in the rucksack as well as the weaponpack! As to LAW lauincher: I don't understand the problem but maybe that's because i've never tried to use a rucksack and laws. As to the update: well things got really messed up. I'm really sorry for that. What we have is a rucksack 1.32 or something  contained in the weapons pack. Don't know about the version included in the Weapondeal modfolder? Is the rucksack used in this mission? The latest version that was released officially must be 1.1 I guess. The good news are: 1.33d of the rucksack is still on my hd. I just picked it yesterday and fixed a couple of things. Some small and stupid bugs. The userdefineable magazines were more like a pain in the a.. so i dropped them out again. Once i get my frontpage running again i'll update the read me file. But the rucksack is ready for testing. Hopefully it will make it into the weaponpack update, too. One thing though: when testing the rucks, please note it requires the eventhandler "Fired". All ordinary weaponpack units (class man) have it by default. When using the rucksack without the weaponpack or using addon units you have to add the eventhandler manually. I tend to forget that from time to time myself... Â

    That's nice news. And nice pics, too. One suggestion though. Can you do the number 329 changeable? So one doesn't always have the 'same' ship? And also the russian flag - not always perfect, when thinking of the CW era. Maybe do a hidden selection for choosing either the soviet or the russian flag...

    Seems like I'm really good in finding traps! For myself! Â Once I was outta the churches tower i ran into the next barn. But alone as i was (Sniping-Jack died way to soon) i had no chance anyway against the three or four of you without knowing where you were.... As to your suggestions: let's see what Chneemann thinks. As the times before it was great fun! Thank you all for coming.

    They're at least supposed to. Because you're asking I guess they didn't do with you? Testing my last mission I sometimes had the problem, too. Try to play around with the behaviour and the skill of your men an MBTs. Hopefully this will help.

    Agree with that point. Unless you have two airfields, which isn't very realistic on a not that big island. But having been in Denmark last autumn holidays I saw there were a lot of very small airfields. That type and size would be very well fitting for OFP. But as to ports: that's really true. What I'ld love are ports you can freely fill up with whatever you'ld need. Not always ports with lots and lots of containers, storage halls and stuff. In my opinion that big sized industrial harbours aren't very likely to be found on that smaller OFP islands. What size is your island and what looks the costline like? What about the terrain? Btw. I very much like Everon, too. The landscape, woods, small villages and cottages...

    Guess we can manage that. Another point is: we're using two TeamSpeak channels anyway so that neither side can hear the other. Playing the criminals would only require one of us to speak english and the other won't be disturbed. The links on our website should work, don't they? Can't test it atm, still in the office.

    Sorry, what doesn't work? As to a session in english - maybe by the end of February. We will tell you the date as soon we have one. Refreshing our english speaking skills will take a while though, I'm afraid! But anyway, if you got the time this evening, your welcome to check in. The mission is translated and there's not to much to talk about in it. So we could try to make it some kind of bilingual...

    Wow, amazing! Â Really, really appreciate your explanations. I'll copy them into my Editing Tutorials folder on my HD. Â As to ressources in missions there's a really nice tutorial (only in german I believe) by DevilDawn. And for cutscenes I've written one myself but all the GUI stuff did scare me a bit at first. Its a pretty big thing with many many lines of code. Hard to find your way through and not to loose track of you're doing. Â But as I'm learning it's getting clearer. And the nice thing is it's basically the same principle as in missions!

    No answer to your question but another question concerning the inGameUI. Sorry if it's the wrong place to ask but i didn't want to open up a new thread for a very short and simple question: For changing the players display of weapon and magazines in the top left corner: what ressources are involved and where are they defined? A quick look in the cfgInGameUI did not tell  me. Any help is appreciated.

    Well then, here you go! That's where the Rucksack update was for! BadAss designed his new mission on a whim. But as it turnes out, it seems like this mission will be your christmas surprise this year. By the way, it seems to be the first Mapfact mission featuring both the DAC and the backpack addon. Too, the ActionHUD is playing it's part again, providing you important information and nice atmosphere. Story The morning of the 12.07.1943 is some kind of cold and a little foggie as well. The lieutenant is watching his clock contentedly. Time has come to call his squad. The fog offers a good possibility to sneak unnoticeably near the enemy's emplacements. Actually this is a trip to hell. Instead of leaving the island order was given to attack again to capture the coastal street back again. Nobody in charge seems to see - or dares to admit - that it's a dangerous game against time.
