Hi, can one of you spanish OFP players help me translate something into english? My girlfriend wrote me a letter and wrote something in Spanish. "Hola yo rasvrar ratero pron toma mi heart" thanks I think heart is there becasue she didn't know what heart was in spanish... Thx for your help
-
lol i know her Spanish isn't the best lmao... From what she wrote it sounds like she took it word for word from a spanish dictionary. She's not spanish, I guess she asked a friend.. Or she knows a lil spanish from school.
-
thx, if someone can give me a word for word translation that would be great..
-
U call that an addon??? You should be ashamed of yourself.... That my OFP peers is a masterpiece.... A true work of art
-
I hope /parvus/mpc/Temp/boobies.jpg will be included in the pack as well.... Lmao!!!! Funny what u'll find in those internet directories
-
X i'll do some voice acting 4 u... I can sound like a young american teenage grunt.... Maybe loosing his cool while under fire or desperately seeking some type of support from HQ... Give me a ring.
-
as far as I can tell there are no desert CQB delta's like there are for the woodland deltas. Minor bug though
-
what would be interesting would be to be able to mount a searchlight on vehicles... Like how the police here in the US have on the police cars. Would be cool for night missions to drive around in a HMMWV and look for unauthorized personel with it.

for the radar guided missiles... Why not make an auto chaff as well? But for the chaff, it wouldn't be as good as spoofing with flares... SO in other words when an airplane gets shot at the chaff is dispensed but the missile 65-80% of the time will hit the airplane... So randomly the missile will miss, although the plane getting hit is more frequent.
-
nice, but the flares look a bit odd lol.... Normal BIS illumination flare isn't a great choice 2 use for aircfraft flares... Also would the auto flares thing work on helicopters as well?

you could make generic pilot models, like 1 with helmet and NVG, 1 with helmet, and 1 without helmet and with headset, and you can have them with OD and desert flightsuits. And you can have them be able 2 have set object texture on them... To add different nations flags. Or you could let people modify the pilots that you make and ask that they credit you. That way if someone wants a pilot for the herc in different cammo and nations, they can base it off your generic pilot models... Just an idea, would apreciate input

heh, the hawk C-130 is just as bad on the ground, really these things should be able to move fairly easly while on the ground... But OFP seems to have this ground movement plauge on planes.
-
I hope thats just a really late April fools joke

i'm looking really forward to these.... Not becasue of the L337 textures and models (well ok it plays a part ) But also because of the various abilities they will have towards the gameplay . Just 2 comments however, The handling of large aircraft on the ground IE: taxi-ing is really a cumbersome issue in OFP. Are you going 2 try to work around that limitation? Also, any idea for pilots being included? It would be a damn shame 2 use those crappy BIS helo pilots (no offense) to fly this beauty. I think maybe if you decide 2 make a pilot model you could make it look like this USMC desert pilot USAF C-130 Pilot (OD flight suit) USAF C-130 pilots in desert flight suits and with helmets RAAF C-130 pilot with helmet and NVG durning night flight RAAF C-130 crew member... Checking out a wrecked T55 turret lol.... In desert flight suit and wearing a helmet NOTE: They do not wear helmets when flying in safe areas... Helmets are worn only when using NVG equipment and when flying in combat / questionable areas.
-
well keep it in mind for OFP2 then, if the gameplay ever becomes as realistic.
-
well, it could be used ingame as well.... With some real hard work in the scripting dept.
-
ok, just giving idea... As in OFP there is no real psyops... Could be interesing concept though if some guru scripter wants to tackle it, like have loudspeaker hmmwv and such things, playing tape message... lol, would add more feel to the environment. Oh it wouldn't be too short missions lol, if anything it would be longer because enemy knows your comming ;).... Just handfull (or more... Depends on how many enemy are on map) of enemy surrunder. Others keep fighting
-
would be interesting in a mission for 1 to fly over the area, and somehow within the mission randomly script people surrundering and civilians running into towns. Could also have leaflet drops and radio drops (they drop little handheld radios so ppl can hear the programming they broadcast) and have pple running to pick up leaflets and radios. Would be neat environmental effect as well, as when troops move into town they see leaflets on the ground and radios lying on the ground. You could also in a cutscene show 1 flying and deploying its anntenna that is below it, and show normal program on TV get interupted by propaganda message. Would be a scripting nightmare... But is possible. Could be useful in MP as well probrably only COOP though, but u can have player fly one over area to be assulted. And players on ground will notice civillians running away, or running to nearest town... Also randomly some enemy forces surrunder.
-
wat do u think about this?
-
agreed ...... Hey Thunder, long time no see... send me a PM or hit me up on IM sometime...
-
hi, don't know if this would be any use in OFP, but the US military operates a highly classified squadron of C-130's called Commando solo..... Basically propaganda plane. Would be interesting and unique to have. http://www.psywarrior.com/ec130.html http://www.psywarrior.com/radioscripts.html some radio scripts they play http://www.af.mil/factsheets/factsheet.asp?fsID=182 there was also a documentery on commando solo on the military channel... Might want 2 check it out some time.. Its pretty interesting.
-
Thats good to hear, don't strain yourself working on the UH's... If you need your rest, then rest! We don't need an OFP related fatality on our hands.
-
I hope you get better Lupus, can't wait to see the amazing modifications you've made... And look forward to seeing some Frenchpoint stuff in the future.

currently my project doesn't use 3D models... only lights and scripting to simulate the didderent types of flashing lights you would see at an airport. As per FAA specs... So sorry you Europeans you'll have to find someone to make them for your specs.
