to everyone thats says that OFP is ment to be an infantry sim, I strongly disagree, OFP is ment to be a war sim.... I would love for OFP to have all portions of the armed forces realistically and tactically modeled. Infantry can do jack shite when comming accross hundreds of main battle tanks. And that my freinds is when you hear infantry comanders frantically call for CAS and armoured support. My .02

had a great time the other night.... But i'm a little pee'd off at getting killed by an AA gun from 900m away, when I shot a mortar. Thats just really dumb lol.

my land suveyor boss, and mentor..... Jack Clark. grunt turned B-17 Navigator during WW2 in the Pacific, went on to become one of the most experienced surveyors in the reigon. 83 years old and still kicking.

BTW on the AH-64 IRL.... The weapon pylons move IE the FFAR pods and the hellfire pods... they tilt up and down

Operation Vanguard..... The stability of the world is in your hands, can you and your international vanguard meet the challenge? Or fall like so many before you? Personally I like it... it's got a nice feel to it and I like how you could abreiviate it as OPV. Â Â the definition of "vanguard" also fits nicely with the title. Dictionary.com def of a vanguard

gee this all sound great and all, but i hate the idea of having punkbuster.... Oh and i think having a file checker is a very bad idea..... I load about gigs of addons, I don't need anymore lag when trying to connect to a server and play. Just my $0.02.

another thing, when cammoflaging helmets on the motorized inf... Saving game then replaying... The helmet cammo is gone, gets reverted back to normal helmet model. Kinda annoying when u told ur whole squad to cammo their helmets one by one Then have to tell them again. Also could you have the cammo helmet action for AI be able to be selceted as the whole squad? Not just one by one? -
or like a notepad.... That opens up within the editor, when you want to open a script and edit it. You edit the file then save.... And the edited script is saved in the directory you chose and when you preview it, the edited script is run. For mission editing this would be a big plus, as well as having a command reference with-in the editor. Afterall making missions in OFP isn't easy, they are often complex pieces of art. And it takes time to master the art of mission making.

how about when an error comes up during an intro to a mission...... Which occurs to me alot. When you press the ok button, the intro to the mission still plays.... That would make me really happy, and how about in the mission editor itself... Having a command reference so you can copy and paste... Or maybe just click on commands, and they appear on Init field in unit... Or being able to open scripting files while in the mission editor, so you can work on a script ingame... Preview it then tweak it... All while still being in the editor. Â let me know what you think

yes, the silenced AK with scope... what the GRU recon guys have. The is a muzelflash shown in optics view when fireing despite the fact that its supressed. Also AK sounds can be a little louder, oh and that PK recoil is just killing me, maybe modifying the PK recoil a little bit wouldn't be a bad idea. On the AK's with optics, also check to make sure that the rounds land where the sight shows they should. On a couple of the ones I tested the rounds would land way above the center... Or zero point of the optic. Make the AK sound as loud as the RPK or similar... Other than that and the bugs mentioned... I don't see anything else, cept that this is one kick-ass addon team.... Please don't let BIS corrupt you -

Hi, if you don't mind, i'd like to be a beta tester. I have been around the OFP community since OFP was first released in the US. I've beta tested for Suchey's USMC and Russian naval infantry, I know a little about everything in OFP but i'm not really good at scripting. Currently i'm making missions and learning how to make them better... I don't really bother with cinematograpy in my missions but I try to get the gameplay as realistic as possible. I want to help the USMC mod in anyway I can... I've been looking forward to a USMC mod, sadly there seems to be a curse on them. You can reach me by PM. I've had some military experience, but as a Cadet in a Navy unit... Been one for 4 years, but now i'm out... Got to be 2nd in command of our company and reached the rank of cadet Lt. paygrade = O-3 which would be a Cpt. in the Army.
