    Explain, Jones. Lets point it out. I know it could lead to flaming but at least pm me with it or the person whom you feel is hurting the flow. That would make the flow keep flowing rather than stop it questioning what it is you are implying. Lets continue, and if it has anything to do with me making points as i feel them it certainly wasn't said so nothing wrong with that. I know thats a fact. Lets carry on while jones gets his act together. .

    The economics chain I see here in Peoria, Arizona has a self advocate stance on poverty. Â Kinda like, "who cares". Â They should have a team that focuses on solutions to things like these all day and could come up with one within a week or a month at least for one poor person, but they don't. Â There is an economics team but what are their interests? Â It certainly isn't poverty. Â If we could nail the solution to poverty here in America then we can nail it everywhere and I believe that solution lies within affordable living as far as needs go, with extra money for wants. Â Thats the goal but the American economics team isn't working on it right now. Â The focus is on war so the economics team can kick back and get paid. Â If I were in charge of that sector.... Â I'd take surveys, do interviews, find out who isn't working, what kinda money they need, and why they can't get it. Â If you're an adult and you can work, you should have the right to more needs than eating. Oh and I'll have you all know, the day that I started taking my role in society more seriously, is the day that I noticed that weed was hurting my life.

    The man in beret makes an excellent intelligence officer. Â Thats for those scenes when I really want interaction between american and resistance or civillian forces and can't use my soldiers and don't want to make a cutscene, i just use my intel officer and have him safely escorted to a chopper. Â Very nice. Edit: Personally I have no problem with the soldiers coming with backpacks permanently on especially if they are special forces because of their long missions behind enemy lines. It's no an option to not wear a backpack with three days worth of gear at the least. You can always imagine that theres a radio in their backpack somewhere. Don't want there to be, make a briefing saying it broke. Even do like me and use sound files from the original campaign like the one where the radio actually does break...im going too far.

    I tink being liberal means allowing gay marriage. My thoughts on that are, let the church say that the marriage is official or not. Then all the laws that apply to marriage are recognized by all, because that church said so. The chuch might lose members, but hey thats an effect of supporting something God goes against in the first place.

    You know drill sergeant, i don't know how you're going to do the soldiers, but if you could use the hyk camo that'd be very nice of you. They're pretty much the standard in alternative infantry and now, special forces addon.

    Maybe we can mimick the story from ace combat five. Â Who owns it? What about killzone? What about just two governments based on two different ways of thinking? One who believes that the government has the power over the people and one thats the other way around. Then the resistance who wants to form their own government.

    User Missions section should be more lively

    I just finished a tears of the sun seals mission which is multiplayer.  If any of you guys wants it please feeel free to email me.  The story is: In a time period I won't say, nor the region.... Some civillians snuck out at night and reached a radio tower to send off a distress signal.  A seal team is sent in to investigate.  It requires tears of the sun seals, bas blackhawks and the air weapons that comes with that and thats all.  It has a cutscene and music, into and outro.     I hope the aliens have a very good recognition system. The starship troopers bugs didn't, you could sneak up on them within fifty feet and cap them and that'd be the end of it. Lukily theres the hunter script.

I got a strong feeling one of you out there is thinking of making an island, just remember that there are 1.government buildings (president, mayors) 2.financial establishments, 3.harbors (ags harbor kit) and cities that lay next to water 4.residential areas 5.places of rest/relaxation/and eating 6.business districts. 7.farms 8.slums 9.govrnment military bases 10. Â a must have, terrorist military bases, but you can make believe that the one is the other if you wish. 11. radio towers, mining, power stations, stuff to keep the place going. 12. forests/jungles 13. needs a jail too. 14. needs a hospital. 15. needs an apartment building. 16. or at least space to lay one down from another addon maker. see mcnools pacific island and mungari for excellent perfect ten islands but hey maybe its because im black, i dunno. Â I also like Nogova and that new Lizardia is looking really nice. Â Can't forget to mention panzerfaust island but its so dang small and way too modern for special forces which i favor but i can still get into it. Â another tip: Â package all the seperate building addons with it. major problems with the more recent islands: 1. not everything is packaged together 2. not enough military bases 3. Â too many stretches of just nothing. Â Put something in there like a forest, a base, an airport, something.

    ia drang has some nice clearings. Â I want an island that is fictionally two different countries that lay next to one another and the addon pack comes with two fictional armies. Â That'd be really nice. Â I just want an addon of two fictional different countries like ace combat five. I'm tired of keeping it so real, its got my mind on all this real war when sometimes i don't want to imagine the real people being killed. Thats what I think is the problem with the addon commmunity so far. They keep making real countries.

    ofp mech talk, gundam fans welcome

    Okay I came up with a scenario. Â It's the future and mankind embarks upon creating an AI so that men no longer have to fight wars. Â They do this in a very remote desert region. Â The first prototype works well. Â It does all its told. Â They send it on test missions and everything. Â The robots are sent into war for the first time. Â They come back and on arrival take the complex over. Â They begin creating their own robots called wanzers which run off of human power. Â They then run the island. Â Their only goal...to destroy mankind. Â They form a government where the first born of every family must be turned into a battery for a wanzer, but the rest of the family is allowed to live freely minus any taxes or anything like that. Â That also means the worlds governments can't nuke the place. Luckily, a weapon was made powerful enough to take the minigears out in one shot. The morcarb. Efforts must be made to eliminate the robot threat once and for all because at the rate their going, the wanzer requires two morcarb clips to take one out.   19. i was kinda hoping that ofp would be the first gundam pc game. well i was wrong. time is not up yet though. Any gundam fans out there care to comment? the closest we have come to working mecha is gigans wanzer walker. its an actual walking spider crab mech. the legs move and all. not smoothly, because of the way that the models are built in ofp. You can't adjust animation time in accordance with things like speed so the legs move at the same speed no matter how fast you go. kinda like a power rangers cartoon if you think about it. anyhow the battle over hokkaido mod has some good mechs in it too. i recommend that one. sometimes i think about the lazer rifles and mecha and want to do a futuristic war but then im like, "who's going to play it with me anyhow. i can't pilot the mech and be a soldier at the same time." besides i could put up a room in gamespy but lately the resistance room in gamespy is pretty empty. there is almost no place to get this thing going on, this dream of mine, almost.

It would seem.

    Thanks for clearing that up Red. Â I think the problem is in the event handler. Â is dryfire an event handler? Â the satcom doesn't necessarily fire. Â Its a dryfire that makes the static noise happen and it doesn't have ammo. Â So is there a dryfire event handler? I'm looking at the name of the ammo for the satcom and it says displayNameMagazine="SatCom Battery"; shortNameMagazine="Battery"; I don't want this thing to fire off a missile though....thats why I'm hoping I can get a sound to play from dryfire alone. Where can I get an eventhandlers list?
