Well the SA-10 is really not suitable for OFP because the point of it is to provide high altitude, long range support. Its abit off on OFP's scale. Its useless against low flying targets.

So I have a slight problem with the Jon Doe model. Lets say I add a backbag to the model... Obviusly it would be nice to have somekinda straps over the shoulders because the bag is not going to stay there with magic. First I tried making the starps into the shirt texture. That did not go well because of the texture problem on the shoulders of the guy. The straps would not be aligned and would look rather stupid. Any way to make the textures fit so I can make the damn straps? Heres a picture of my problem.

I have absolutely no knowledge on island making so I cant make any new islands. But enough with the offtopic already. Talk about thread hijacking.

The map is DMA Libya. There is no Lebanon like maps out there so I just have to use a wee bit imagination and place some trees and bushes near the mission area.

I know what you mean Kinhill. Thats why I decided to make some Hizbollah guys for myself. Its sad though that I cant release them because they are pieced together from 100+ different addons and there is no way I can get the permission for all the model parts. Maybe you could do the same thing? Its really not that hard if you just use existing addons. Sorry for the offtopic!

I figured the gizmo mapping out... almost. I keep getting this one broblem where the texture is "sucked" into the center point where the three arrows meet. No matter what the hell I do the broblem is there. Any advice?

Yeah thanks for the answers guys... The gizmo mapping is driving me crazy though but I guess it takes lots of practice to get it right.

Well there is the EE-9 Armored Car in the latest Iranian army pack. RHS T-55's are also good because they dont have any red stars and they come in green and tan versions, both suitable for Iran. I think ORCS also made a nice T-72 without any markings.

That stab was rather simple. The new anim actually combines a stab with the but-stroke, to make a longer melee anim. Looks better when several men go at each other, as before two such were just poking towards each other, now it looks as a fight with the stabs and but-strokes. Though I'm sure that eventually someone is going to come up with a proper bayonet system for OFP... If you prefer the old ones, just take all the rifle addons from the old pack and overwrite the current ones (CWMusket.pbo, CWEnfield.pbo, CWLorenz.pbo). Thanks for the quick reply! So the new rifles have no other changes than the new bayonet system? I guess its a matter of opinion when it comes to these bayonet systems. I personally prefer the old one. -

Its not the Farmland addons pack. I have it and the ground textures are still missing. I guess its because the textures are the old low res textures and I am using the high res version of Everon and Malden that replaces the old ones. The new bayonet system seems to be way worse than the old one. First of all the AI never uses its bayonets. If i give them full ammo it takes about 10 years to run out and if I give them 1 ammo then its just retarded to have soldiers running around with only the bayonets and 0 ammo. Also when I use the bayonet I get the "hit with the rifle but" animation and not the cool "stab with the bayonet" animation. The horses however are way better than I ever thought would be possible in OFP. The horses alone are worth this new version I think. -

Very nice idea... It would be actually dead easy to make some generic South American guerillas using the John Doe kit. Few hours hard working and they would be done. Some reseach has to be made though... what weapons they use, what uniforms they use, how do the locals dress? Not to forget a decent hispanic face pack.

Nah, I mostly ment Footmunches planes because they have the roundel script so they have Iraqi markings.

Looks excellent! Especially the new horse makes me want to play this mod more than ever! Just one thing though... the horses head looks rather large compared to the body. Maybe scale it down just a little bit? -

Very nice work here Ironsight! I cant wait for the updated version with middle-eastern faces and more soldier classes. Btw here is the camo that is used by Libyas Africa Corps. Would be quite unique camo pattern and in my opinion it would fit perfectly for some more elite units. Africa Corps camo pattern
