UPDATE: FLASHPOINT WORKS for some reason.. But still need to talk to you, resistance dont Install! I have much to say but I am working on other issues on my laptop at the moment (I have it next to my desktop so if you AIM me, i will be here) Danke! Ty

Well, after the installation of Flashpoint (NO patches, no addons, not resistance). I started flashpoint up, Directly after installation (the little box that said Play Flashpoint now) and it worked perfect! I had 30+ tanks on each side firin @ eachother and no lag, it was heavon! Then, after that, I restarted my computer and then I got that CRC error... Im sorry but, I dont have my laptop here so, I wont be able to fix it yet.. My internet hasn't even been hooked up its that new.. The computer SHOULDN't Need updating, since when i got it it had Direct X 9.0, but i know how fast update arrrive now-a-days, but once i go to my laptop i will get the internet working and LEARN Wtf ASPI is and how to configure it.. I have no friends who have any knowledge of computers ether  .  I probably have many hours of stress comming to sort all of this out. I went to Avon's site and did everything it said except, the BIO's and the Aspi thing, (I don't know what to do, but there is a 8-10 page link that explains it all.. I read some of the print out, but it was all gibberish to me. Also, the only thing i DO KNOW how to do it change the virtual memory settings. As i said, this is an alienware, best of the best laptops out there.. Even the fastest laptops on the market have problems, but I hope this can get sort out asap. So, tomarrow i will go onto my laptop and look through what I can and try to read and understand this,this and this. This is the hardest thing I've ever experienced, so if you have anything that you would be willing to tell me that would a lot simpler, PLEASE!, say so! (Step-by step instructions on what to do would be very nice, if you have nothing else to do, heh, it would save me a good 5 hours) But I understand 99% of yall are very busy and have work to do. Good Point... I will try as soon as I get back to my laptop.. Thanks But as I said, Reg Flashpoint it self dont play, so what will make resistance play? So, lets just say I copied all the files from resistance into the game, i will get the same error when i throw the CD in wont i? I will try it tomarrow and check, thx 4 the support yall. What FAQ? I looked in all open forums for aspi and 3 threads come up, "weather", "Can't Install resistance (o.pbo)" and another 1, not related to anything. did you mean Avon's? Ill go take a look.

There is no Directory for Res n my game directory so i cannot just copy that file from the game. Since there are no files for the game!!!!! C:\Program Files\Codemasters\OperationFlashpoint\Res\AddOns\O.pbo I have a Alienware 3.06Ghz P4 1024 Corsair DDR Ram 40.1GB left in hard drive. Windows XP Home Edition NO addons installed in this game, Operation Flashpoint was just installed and I rebooted my computer, then tried installing Resistance and I got that error at the VERY END of Installation. Please help! I have Just bought this Laptop to Replace my old shitty desktop, mostly for this game... I did not wan't to spend 3,000 on a Laptop that does not play this game! So if you have ANY Way to fix this type of problem, please do not hesistate to reply to this message. BTW: I tried installing it again (There was no option to uninstall since it didn't complete installation) Still no luck, thank you for your time.

I think Fraghous... OC12 I think they got.. or was that another 1? I dont see it in the Flashpoint listings anymore. They can support a game up to 64 on 64 with barely any lag at all, if all others peoples connections are acceptable and you are willing to wait until the host hits the launch button.

Theres a few mods worth mentioning, RTS Real Time Stratagy from Karrilion. And Thats pretty much the only one that REALLY Changes the prespective on Just plain old army affairs. It Redifines the way OPF is played, It allows you to make a base like you would in Command and Conquer but in 1st person View mode. You earn money my traveling into different towns and receving money for capturing that town. Then you use that money to build Helocopters, Cars, Motos, Tanks, Planes, Jets, you name it. Â The addons for this game are huge. Â I have had this game since November 2001 and I never put it down. Â I have bought 4 games since I had this game and within 1-2 weeks i was back on here. Be Mindful that Operation Flashpoint 2 is comming out. In late 2004 So play as much of this as you can. Tasmainain Devil is a Resistance Soldier whos name isn't said but heard in the backround of a certain scene i the game. I swear I saw him with another soldier talking but not directly to the camera but you could definitly tell it was him. He was a Reisistance Soldier with Sunglasses and a Officer hat on. Victor Never died.. It never showed him, and have you ever seen the remains in mission editor or in any mission? lol But we have found a peice of an Arm 1/2 mile away on Opatov, we belive it is a former Commanding officer of the RON. With a Alienware 3.06 GHZ and 1024 DDR Corsair ram, you cant go wrong. I Dont know if its 5,000 but its is high as it can go and no lag is present. I have almost all island addons and 240 addons in my game. If i add 1 more addon it will give me the "Cannot Load o.pbo file" so I wil have to delete sum b4 adding new ones. 2000 is enough tho.

In Operation Flashpoin 1, you cannot walk in planes, Helocopters, or boats! I would like to see if people could actually move inside units while in motion. The C-47 Gunship and the AC-119K Gunship we able to carry men and paradrop them. I want to be able to walk inside the cargo plane or helo (Huey!) while its flying. The direction sould effect you also. if the plane makes a hard right your unit(s) should be effected also. Im sick of not being able to walk in units while they are in motion, if you didn't want to walk around and risk injury because of the turbulence just sit down... Just think of opening the doors of your C-47 and jumping out for a nightly paradropping mission.

What are the names of some popular threads? Id like to join em.... I have meny other ideas. but if BIS dont realize that, thread we're screwed.. I Think making many Threads on this issue will be better off to catch the eye on BIS or if they go for replys, just find a very popular thread regarding this issue and EVERYONE POST THERE AS MANY TIMES AS YOU CAN! Its what the people want also, so we need to show them what can make their game sell, we only got a year and half people!

1. Ok I made a Truck full of Soviet Soldiers and I want to have this truck of men move in to a certain area in 35 seconds from the start of the mission how can i do this? Â Please explain it to me as if I never made a mission in my life so i can get the full detial on what you mean. I want the Soviet Convoy to come in 5 minutes from the start of the mission, how can I sycronize the convoys path with the trigger or something that activates the convoy to MOVE. How can I make myself start at a specific height (Like inside a stucture). Â I realize you have to test the starting height of the units starting pos but how? What is the command? and where do you put the variable to state the height in there? How can I have a unit move his arm over and around a table with a map over it? How can you make a camera that is 3 feet from a units face directly with out is zooming, going around.. I know an EXTERNAL cam works but its too far from the unit that i want. If i had a trigger that showed a unit talking, how could i make the camera move 140 degrees to the right to show a truck drive by? Without a CUT in the camera? Could you tell me how you open the game and get the things they said in the campaign and put it towards a mission? (I know how to execute a sound from a trigger that is a 3rd party i.e. music. if that helps) Thanks a lot!

ok guys, thx... now how about Making a trigger activate then a unit start moving? I want to kill the certain amount of men, I made the trigger work once they were dead but then i want to make MORE enemy units come in after that task is completed. I dont understand Sycronization. Please tell me as if i were a kid at 5 yrs.

Yeah Karr, its Victor.. Have you thought about the AI Kill (suicide script) that ive been talkin about? If u dint catch me from what i was sayin becuz my mic is really screwed up here is my suggestion and i Hope some feedback is posted also: When your AI have been left on an island for what ever reason, they cannot get back to base UNLESS you pick them up, which could cost money and time. If there was some way to just go into Mission Control and hit Kill Unit then select a sertain unit that needs to be executed. They could just be killed by the click of the button. This way you can get your units that are miles away, and just remake them from your barracks. Lemme know what u think cuz Ive been thinkin about this for a while.

I am thinking about getting a Headphone/microphone combo That T can get at a major retail store (ei: Besy Buy, Circuit City etc...) Ive put most of my money on the Sidewinder GameVoice.. If you have never heard of it please do not reply to this topic I have thought this through and I figured the GameVoice will come with their servers that supply this device.. My question is: Â Â Â Â Is it possible to use TEAMSPEAK2 with this device? Or only Microsoft's Voice Servers. Also if you would know, If you HAVE this device for your personal use. Please tell me how easy it is to select specific people and have it set up to talk to your team only.. Theres a button on the device as you know (Since you Have it)... Will just hitting team chat on the device auto chat to teamates, or do you have to set it up?
