nope, never went into options since i installed this game.

Im makin a few missions but when i make an aircraft, they just turn left and thentake off.. Some blow up when there turning. Also, I have that F18, but i want it to BOMB a town.. How can i do that? How can i make a helo land from the flyinh pos and then land fast? Or land on top of a building (can you make it kinda simplier to understand please. i dont know too much)

ANOTHER BUG. WHEN TRYING TO PLAY FLASHPOINT BY INSERTING THE CD AND THEN STARTING FLASHPOINT I GET THIS ERROR: Please Re-Insert CD and restart the application. I have had this error in the past and i dont know how but it deleted misteriously. I remember having to restart my computer each time I had this CD in. (So simply, Resistance had to be in the computer before it was turned on). Any ideas? Also, I have no knowledge of BIO's, AGP, or any type of CD settings..

I JUST got my new computer and, there is no diskspace needed. I still have 39GB left off of thiis 40GB HD that i have. I cant be low on memory: i have 1024DDR Flashpoint is the ONLY game installed. I get this error after ONLY A FEW addons: cannot find memory map file o.pbo" Or sumthing I have checked avon's site and, i also have tried the Virtual memory settings, still no luck. I have NO KOWLEDGE of BIO's, so that leaves it out also. Any ideas?

edc, thank you.. I just figured out that the F22 that that 1 quake guy made was a cause of it. Because all of the other addons work perfectly fine now. I will try to see if its all of the new addons that cause this problem since they were put in after this o.pbo error. I will try to put my Sebnam in and see if it works. Thanks alot!

ok thanks.. 1. The 85kb _O.pbo folder with just the Config in it is in the res/addons folder. 2. _O.pbo was changed to O.pbo and the 173Mb O.pbo that was there was overwrited. 2. "O'' Folder is in Codemasters/Operation Flashpoint (With the Config.Bin still in there) 3. I dont get that error anymore but... THE GAME STILL SHUTS DOWN AFTER HITTING PREVIEW.

Im trying the EDIT now, but will be hitting the HAY after this post. 1 more thing.. I did back up flashpoint with the CD.. and the files STILL look like wordpads wanting to be opened with CutPBO

NOW, SINCE I CANT GET ANYWHERE... I DOWNLOADED A CUT.PBO FILE, AND THAT DIDN'T WORK, AND NOW ALL MY FILES WANT TO OPEN WITH CUT.PBO. AND I DELETED IT. So now, 1. Can't play Fuckin Flashpoint 2. All my addons look like wordpads that insist on opening with Cut.pbo! Chances are, no one can help and im SOL.

ok, I beleive I did what you had said. There is a Folder Called "O" and that folder has all the Decompressed Stuff in it. And another file "O.pbo" which is the Config File Compressed into the PBO. The Problem:  WHEN CLICKING MISSION EDITOR, I GET THIS ERROR: picture  \o\misc_nogovo.paa not found Then! I hit ok, and then load up a level and then when i hit preview: HAHA Get this! It shuts flashpoint down all together! Now what do I do! (I can never get a break and have a problem completly resovled, theres always SOMETHING ELSE!)

Ok, I did what you said.. As well as Avon's.. But I dont understand BIO's or AGP or any of that.. And I DONT know anyone who does! I tried CutPBO, (no luck) I did what you said. (no luck) I tried Virtual memory settings (no luck) I have only a few addons in my game. I will be watching the forum every few mins to check to see if sum1's listing and knows a solution. I have messed with my Virtual memory, but i tried making it low, didnt work), and then i made it as high as it can go (2000,2000) When i got the computer it was at 1533, 2000. No luck.! If you have any ideas please post them. I'll be waiting

What do you mean? (I have the o.pbo error to but, I dont understand what you mean with "Copy config and put it into its own PBO file"

Do they read this? It'd be nice to get some kinda confirmation that they read it and get some stuff off of it. If they would take a few mins every month to read this and say "WE thought this was a good Idea", it would at least let us know that 1: we arnt wasting our time in here. 2: Our suggestions may help the gameplay experience. 3: The topic names are at least being glasd at. I know they have a lotta work to do, but.. I'd rather wait a month longer and have our suggestions here be read by the Big Boys.

CAN CHANGING THE MEMORY SETTING IN FLASHPOINTS PREFORMANCE MENU AFFACT HOW MANY ADDONS YOU HAVE?

Also, when I get this 0.pbo error, HOW CAN IT BE LOW IN memory? I still have 38GB from 40Gb on my computer, also this is the only game installed in my computer now.. Next thing, I read in Avon's Faq that there was something about changing the windows swap file size greator, how can i get into the window to change it? Please dont give me that "You will have to call someone I know to come over and do it for me" Well I dont have anyone I know that knows anything about computers. I need the addons I have, I got them from www.aggression.org/karr.html and I only go into that server.. I have no other addons, and without those addons listed above i cannot get into that website. For now, I will take them out and see if the error goes away, I guess that last option is the swap file.

When starting the game, It sometimes is a plain blank screen and some times it will say 'cannot find memory map file o.pbo' or something like that. With that in mind, I CAN Just move the mouse around in the blank screen and hear the little 'tick ticks' of the mouse hovering over an option from the main menu. I Recently installed this game in MY login name and just now I logged in as one of the other 3 people on the list of login names. It took me 8-10 hours tryin to install flashpoint and resistance and I still cant play the campaign, I dont care at least the internet works so i can play online and make missions. But that isnt the concern of this Thread. My System specs are: 3.07 Ghz Pent 4 Alienware XP Home 1024 Corsair DDR Ram CD-RW, DVD Drive ---------------------- If yall can help me get this problem resolved so i can get into the main menu of the game, i'd very much appreaciate it. 1 more thing: The Game does NOT appear when i go into start>All Programs But it does appear when I go into C;Program Files/Codemasters/FlashpointResistance. So the blank screen and the other 50% of time, the 0.pbo. Thanks!

When Trying to finish the installation of Operation Flashpoint Resistance I get this error message: File copy error (CRC does not match). C:\Program Files\Codemasters\OperationFlashpoint\Res\AddOns\O.pbo I have a Alienware 3.06Ghz P4 1024 Corsair DDR Ram 40.1GB left in hard drive. Windows XP Home Edition NO addons installed in this game, Operation Flashpoint was just installed and I rebooted my computer, then tried installing Resistance and I got that error at the VERY END of Installation. Please help! I have Just bought this Laptop to Replace my old shitty desktop, mostly for this game... I did not wan't to spend 3,000 on a Laptop that does not play this game! So if you have ANY Way to fix this type of problem, please do not hesistate to reply to this message. BTW: I tried installing it again (There was no option to uninstall since it didn't complete installation) Still no luck, thank you for your time.

I have tried installing Red Hammer and once it gave me the error of it not being able to copy. Codemasters/dta/HWTL/data So i went into the CD and tried copying by itself straight from the CD into the computer and I got this error: 'Cannot copy Data: Invalid MS-DOS function' Errors up-to date: this will be UPDATED as often as I come accross an error: 1. Cannot copy data: Invalid MS-DOS Function 2. CD has to be in computer before it is turned on or else I get this error: Please Eject the CD and Re-Insert it and restart application. Thats it! Also, if you have ANY POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS TO ANY PROBLEMS Expressed in this Thread, please please PLEASE POST THEM HERE!

Scratch last post, Thats fixed now, I just cracked open flashpoint and inserted all the files that were missing in the game fom the CD. Version 1.30 is complete. UPDATE: 1.46 is complete. UPDATE 2: When starting flashpoint it says Please Eject and re-insert the CD-ROM, select OK and restart application I re-start my computer and it works weardly enough! I would like to continue my work then, just hit Flashpoint off the desktop, but each and everytime i have to restart my computer! Any Suggestions? (I will get mother board info) but heres a spec sheet for you to look over, it may have what you need to know: Click here If that isnt enough, just lemme know and I'll go into my manuals and make some calls.
