I think this is a disgrace, if we look over the pond the US are making the US Army and Marines even larger. The British Army is already over strectched so smaller troop numbers is wrong. Getting rid of 4 regiments/batallions which are historical to Britain is wrong choice as we are going on more deployments around the world so less "Groups" to use. I can say the same things about the Royal Navy and RAF. Also we are getting rid of Air defence so the goverment is basically gambling we dont have any air attacks on us or our troops. We need larger numbers in all 3 services, but i would like to see Hoon go n leave his post.

Way to kill a party! Illegalising the majority of 'common' drugs, Such as alcohol, nicatine, even caffine, has the potential to create more social problems than benefits. Unless you blind people of past liberties. There is no chance in hell that it would work. Everything would go underground, opening the doors for organised crime. Down here, there is a much greater threat from organised crime than there is from a bunch of spaced out bongheads learning to use hydroponics in the comfort and safety of their own home. On top of that, I've never met an angry stoner. Mischievous, yes. But violent. No. Just because some people can't hold their liquor, or habits to within reason, is no reason to take them away from all. I kid you not, on that mentality alone. Why do you think it is a bad idea then? Because it has been proved people who smoke marijuana reguarly get mental issues (or greater risk) later on in life. I know you are going to say well its there life so they can do what they want but thats why we have laws and nobody can do what they like. Also when people get "high" they are bigger problem then people who are not on the drug. Â Trust me I know alot of people, some of them (minority) smoke weed the rest don't and I can tell you the people who smoke weed cause trouble and is the problems Tony Blair talked about in is speech on crime. edit: I just read your post. My brother went on a school trip to France and he said there were some Dutch kids smoking weed but they were really causing trouble, if i went over and they were causing trouble near me i would of smacked them Just because your friends cause problems when they're high doesn't mean that everyone does that. Â I know plenty of people who cause no trouble when they've smoked a joint. Â Of course no human being is the same... Who said they were my friends?

So from what I understand of yours you don't think this is a good idea? Name a reason weed should be illegal. Â One that does not apply more so to alcohol or tobacco. It is already illegal so no reason required mate, but you need reasons to make it legal. And no i don't think its a good idea

Legalise drugs? for medical reasons or social reasons? Ban smoking in public places, illaglise all non-medical drugs.

This has already been posted i think, but its not that good. I was watching a program on Discovery or UKtvHistory channel, and British forces were using a weapon to fire over the trenches without exposing any of the body.

As opposed to now, when they try weed, figure out that its less harmful than some legal drugs, and think "the government just makes this shit up" Exactly. Eurofighter useless? Â How do you figure that? It has been ordered by Britain, Spain, Germany, Italy, Austria, Greece and Singapore. All in all over 1000 aircraft. The Eurofighter is a great aircraft, so i agree with you Denoir. I might be flyin one of them, hopefully, in the future.

Nah, the Italian anthem is like marching band music gone wrong. The best anthems IMO are: 1.Russian (Same as old Soviet..Soyuz nerushimiy respublik svobodnykh..although they've probably changed the words) 2. German (actually based on a classical piece by Haydn) 3. British (God Save the Queen) The French is excellent as an anthem, but bad as music. On the other side is the EU (Ode to the Joy chorus of Beethoven's 9th Symphony) which is good music but horrible as an anthem. Yep well everyone has their own opinion, but i agree the Russian anthem is good. I also like the English national anthem "Land of Hope and Glory". Iam just wondering why does the English team have the British anthem at matches, while the Scottich and Welsh use their own anthems?

According to UEFA, the attendance was 16002. That's pathetic for such an important game for Italy. It seems the Italians prefer to stay at home accusing others of cheating  thats because there was like 10 bulgarian fans maybe more but when the Italian national anthem came on, you could hear them all singing. I think the Italian national anthem is one of the best in the world.

I think Germany should of won that game, they controlled most of it, could of been 2-1 not 1-2 wen ballack hit the post
