I want them to hold still no matter what!
Bosun replied to Aculaud's topic in OFP : MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
well.... unitname DoStop seems to work pretty good, stays absolutely still , won't move on to any other waypoints and will still shoot anyone coming at him.... But..when/if you want him to move onto other waypoints; unitname doMove getPos whatever this shakes him out of the dostop mood and puts him back on course. -
set trigger activation to "east" and under that "present" and under that put the required time in all three minmaxmid. Click on "type" and it will give you the choice, try "end1". Having said all that...l don't think it will work with the time in there. It seems to end (at end of time) whether east present or not. but perhaps it just me.... but try it, play with it.....ps. don't forget to make the trigger big enough to cover the area you want east noticed. (ie axis a and b)

good... as it's hard to find tutorials at the moment you might want to download this OLDER MANUAL which has some very good things in it. Just click under editor or triggers when you get it.

What about fade to black, in and out, camcreate....look at ground, sky,.....etc Or just fadeto black for a few seconds and then view of sky, .. add a little sound, a few moans, a little vomit...

Here's a starting point; Give yourself a get in Waypoint and sync it with a Load waypoint on the truck. Truck's second waypoint move or whatever and then where you want to get off give yourself a getOut waypoint and sync with a "transport unload" waypoint on truck. Then give truck move wp..... ...so you have two seperate waypoints = yours and the truck...truck should not be grouped with you. You will have to tell your guys to get in and get out. There are many variations to this, perhaps group your guys. moveincargo unassign etc etc. Anyways....it's a start.

This is for ColdWar  and not redhammer or res. I'm sure you could find more on goggle or if you get stuck on a particular mission ask on this forum. (check under "ofp mission" threads).

First time l've seen your manual (old version)....and it's very good, would be valuable for people trying to get a grasp on mission editing,. Certainly a good starting point. (well actually better than a starting point.) Hope you get enough interest for another. ps....ya your right..colors are bad.

Make unit start with trigger
Bosun replied to itchy_trigger's topic in OFP : MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
Not sure if this will help but perhaps a starting point; SETPOSGETPOS I'm not sure about giving them waypoints from here, but you could give them moveincommands after they appear..anyways play with it.... hope it helps. -

This is a great PBO decryptor 1.5 I have never had any trouble with it. And it's been updated to include res.
-
Click on the weather box in the mission editor and adding your name there.....l think this will do it....? although you may have to delete pbo. and resave mission.

Hi. Â Not sure where l'm going wrong here; Â I can give a civ most any weapon, however can't give them a LAWLauncher; unitname addMagazine "LAWLauncher"; unitname addWeapon "LAWLauncher" Also with ammo crates; Â l clear the crate and then add; cratename addMagazineCargo ["LAWLauncher", 5]; cratename addWeaponCargo ["LAWLauncher", 1] this doesn't seem to work. Thanks for you help. Â Â
