people on ofp make these islands and ive been saying this for a long time, "we need a fictional generic army for these islands to battle each other", and i think with the ww4 mod thats exactly what we get, which is good. Hopefully sanctuary can pull that off.

let me be honest, personally im just the mission editor/sounds guy so, those things may never be fixed if noone steps up to the plate.

but dude as far as i know so long as your not selling the work of someone else its under free distribution. its up to you, but ive seen material from other works copied into ofp without permission and nothing happened.

edit: ask for permission. its the right thing and im sure the original artist will be honored that his work is being used for a game addon.

sanctuary i finished the sound alternate we've been talking about. Link. Its an alternate sounds file that replaces some of the sounds of the original ww4_sounds file. just a few weapons here and there, but its important to note the sounds came off of news footage. Overall i replaced the ak74 sounds, mp5 sounds, m16 and m4 sounds, m249 sounds and m60 sounds, m240 sounds and rpk74 sounds. This addon is multiplayer compatible and doesn't require everyone else to have it in multiplayer since its a replacement the file paths stay the same.

i was wondering is it possible we could see the desert army units with m4s, possibly the woodland army units as well, and wasn't the m60 phased out and replaced by the m240? I'm thinking theres a small chance that you probably knew this but went with your own mix of weapons anyway. If thats true let me know. Also, hyk had a vehicle config that allowed you to choose the crew of the vehicle. Is this something we could possibly see for ww4 as well? On a side note Sanctuary, i want to thank you for your incredible efforts within this community. I believe you deserve VIP of 2009, but thats just me. I know you been around awhile like me, and i just wanted to give you the respect you deserve. Thats as sincere as I can put it. OFP is something in my limited list of things to do, gives me something to do with my time and if it weren't for new content i don't know where id be.

No. There are marpat soldiers included in the east/west units pack but they don't look like that they were modified slightly. That may have been the original design but in the end thats not what they look like.

i don't know why, but i don't get the ecp options when i hit escape with ecp mod on anymore. so i was wondering if you could send me your ecp config. even when i reinstall it, the thing doesn't work.
