Wow! Thank you for this and heres my comments. Installed fine , no crashing and smooth play for me (PIV 3.0 G,1 gig ddr400,nvidia 7600gs 512m,Winxp home,Arma Beta 1.09, no loplants,have QC but not using shortcut) Plays fine for me, I already had eax disabled,hardware accel enabled, very smooth and very nice work Brings back old memories and the christmas trees distracted me and I got shot I love the Jeep just the way it is, it looks better than I recall from OFP Thank you and Merry Christmas all (now how am I gonna spend time with family?)

Of course its worth the purchase, there are no monthly fees. I play online and always servers and spots Can't really compare to Americas Army for a few reasons. No bunny hop, Arma has vehicles which puts it in simulator class Demo available here, unfortunately I am not sure of how many demo servers online http://www.armedassault.com/dwnl_demo.html Have fun !

Mehmans looks very promising Unfortunately there isn't anymore large modteams making WW2 mods lately. I say large modteams because its a large chore, if you have ever made one addon you would see that it would be a big project to tackle enough stuff to make a whole mod. In OFP there were several teams: WWIIEC made quite a bit of stuff and scenarios and still is actually.I even had a team with Pacific and looked promising at some times. Liberation,Desert42,AtStWalker,Inv44 stuff I can't even remember all the teams and I don't want to miss anybody A few individual addonmakers like Trenchfeet and such, those were good old times But anyways I have seen a few mods advertise , not sure which are still alive. Mehmans and AtStWalkers and the current W39 mods I believe I joined with AtStWalker, I am not very active yet although I still dream of the entire Pacific Theatre in a BIS game http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin....twalker

So which antivirus-firewall programs are you using? I used to run Panda's and after about 30 minutes I could no longer even browse the web, of course I shut-it-off for online gaming

Few options here.. Leave it at "high" and use the 512 then your happy. Buy a video card with more ram What is the fix you need? It will load as much as possible.

I only have a 7600gs and it already has 512mb of ram. My PC ram is slower and I only have a Gig or ddr400.I only use 64 or 128mb settings for the aperature for reasons that my pc ram is slower and I don't have alot.I have noticed drop in performance setting my aperature too high.If you have alot of extra and super-fast pc ram maybe you would get opposite results.I also know that many d3d programs have a problem of releasing the ram back so thats probably where the performance decrease is coming from. You want fast writes on and such anything your system will handle. I don't have a performance control but some AGP power settings and I leave it at normal (don't want to waste too much power) If I were having problems I may set that to high If you were running alot of smaller games, I think having a large agp aperature would help because it may load the whole graphics between video card and pc ram.But these demanding games have other stuff it needs to load for performance issues and using all your memory for graphics doesn't seem to help (large maps,files and such)

I love this version too. Nice work again KilJoy ! I can't say that enough. Is there somewheres I can get some of the previous versions too? I like the version with the mi's dropping soldiers and lots of troops! So I can play some lanplay or such I played a server today with that version and I was like Rambo for a few hours I was even using all my ammo and picking up dead soldiers weapons, alotta fun

Few things If I raise my AGP aperature to an enormous figure, my game gets slower as time passes but your obviously pci-e Possible that your cpu is getting hot and automatically lowering cpu speed? Same with your video cards? Getting hot and sluggish? Tried the maxmen parameter for Arma? I also suspect your soundcard.

All the servers show but no ping showing? Sounds like some sorta firewall. Your virus program must have control of your inet ports

Could try delete arma.cfg in "my documents/arma" sometimes I delete the whole arma folder (mp problem) You would have to changeup your settings once in Arma game again

Its been a few weeks...have you solved this? Sounds like its only blinking in 2d mode. I'm sure you tried changing desktop resolutions and refresh rates? (go as high as you can refresh) Shut off things like "digital vibrance" and "image sharpening" You have multiple monitors enabled and only using one? A way to reset graphics setting (upgrade/downgrade video drivers) ? You using alternate settings manager (rivatuner,ntune or such)

So they are only reassembled weapons from Arma? I wish it would say that. Some more details/info please. If its not NEW addons then why label the topic as NEW addons? You need to state where these come from !

I do play it, year later (good investment! I spend more on getting the kids haircuts,tank of gas,going out to eat etc... I play it on my PIV 3.0 gig, 1 gig ddr, 7600gs 512m video card,XP home And sometimes on my laptop : XP4000+ cpu,1 gig ddr,x600 256m video card, XP home Works great! I have no game equal. If I could trust honest comments in this topic thats not getting the fans in an outrage I would stay out of it.Babysitting is aparantly needed tho. Alot of that doesn't even make sense. Sevan wasn't even defending the game but whatever First of all Arma is finished and released game.Demo and reviews available and you had some time to return it if unhappy ( I wish alot of you had).If someone wants the game they buy it.I spend more on a tank of gas for my car. No biggie , just another game. Nothing to cry about. People are buying COD and playing it for a week and shelf it.80% of the games I have bought in my lifetime aren't very good. Arma is not one of them. If you did keep Arma and are somewhat unhappy, this is a good topic to express your concerns in a normal polite way. And possible if they continue to develop it they may address some of the users concerns, but guess what "you bought it already" so don't pout and cry now.Its life They don't HAVE to work on it anymore.We like it tho in the aspect its further development progress for Arma 2 My opinion and judging from some decent feedback why would they want to waste anymore manpower/money on a game that didn't do as well as expected.So guess what...That makes Arma 2 announcement "good news" for alot of people. We all know that Arma uses "universal" animations for the weapons.Nothing can be done asides making a proper animation and assign it to a M203 soldier which now would look funny using other weapons. It doesn't interfere with gameplay, I could nitpick most any game and point out similiar things
